News: Fleshlight Is Discontinuing Sex In A Can

Fan of the stuff Fleshlight does?

There’s some sad news you need to know; as of Aug. 29. 2014. Fleshlight is discontinuing Sex In A Can versions.

Why, you ask? I have no clue. I can only speculate they don’t sell as well as the company hoped, or they’re doing the whole ‘out with the old to make room for the new’ thing. Which is kinda exciting, if it is the case.

My point: if you wanted one but never got around to it, here’s your LAST CHANCE BEFORE THEY’RE GONE!

*Note: the above video was made with the original cans, they’ve since updated them to look like ‘real’ beer cans, a.k.a “Gold Label”. You can find them all below. Regularly they’re $55.95 each, but with the 25% off discount they’re only $48.95, a 3 pack will run you $131.95, saving you $36. Looking for other Fleshlight deals, find ’em here. While I’m at it, Jenna Haze has 2 new textured sleeves.

Review: Rhino by Traz Penis Extension

Ask anyone with a smaller than average penis about their experiences and most will likely admit that “making do with what they’ve got” is sometimes easier said than done.

That isn’t to say that anything below average isn’t good. Because it is. Very much so. As someone that isn’t a size queen, I can personally testify to that.  But considering we live in a culture where the message of “bigger is better” is a constant, it’s silly to expect someone to be confident when they don’t feel what they have is adequate, even when it is.  So, like anyone would do, they look for something that will make them feel better, whether it be a pump, sleeve, or otherwise.

Enter the Rhino by Traz penis extension; a kick ass 4-in-1 penis sleeve I found while updating my beginners guide to penis extensions.

Now I know this isn’t something that will appeal to all of you, but with sex toys designed for “men” finally starting to catch up to their “female” counter parts, I can’t help but think Traz is poised to take over a considerable part of the market, and quite deservedly so. What they’re offering is leaps and bounds above what’s currently available, both in terms of design, usage, and materials.Traz Rhino, The Worlds #1 Penis Sleeve

 The Good

Even as someone who tends to opt for decidedly ‘average’ sized insertables, I can’t help but love the sleeves Traz has created. They’re sleek and easy to use, supple, body safe, comfortable, and most importantly, THEY STAY PUT!

  • Unlike other sleeves, the Traz versions are the ONLY ones made of 100% silicone that don’t require a sling under the balls to hold them in place, allowing them a handful of benefits:
    • they’re far less likely to tear with time, a common issue I hear with ‘real feel‘ and roll on versions.
    • allergic to latex? no worries, they’re latex free.
    • being non-porous they won’t absorb bodily fluids, lube, or bacteria.
    • they’re hypoallergenic, hygienic, non-toxic, and phthalate free, so they won’t leech chemicals into you or your partners body.
  • Each of the sleeves is totally customizable when it comes to length, simply cut it to the exact size you need.
  • Even though they’re thick, with a considerable amount of weight (especially the Stampede/Genesis versions), the silicone still has some squish, give, and flexibility, allowing for a decent cushion and comfortable fit.
  • They can be used as a masturbation sleeve; just add some lube, slide yourself inside, and stroke away. If you want to add a different sensation cover the end with your finger for some ‘sucking’ action. It’s obvs not like the real thing, but I’ve been told it’s above par.
  • If you have a traditional vibe hanging around, or a basic dildo for that matter, the sleeves can be placed over top to ‘enhance’ it.
  • Finally, as someone that’s tried all the options available (we’re talking latex, realistic, and strap-on), I appreciate not having to continually start and stop because the sleeve is sliding off. If you want a sleeve that stays put! you want a Rhino by Traz.

How To Use/Sizing

Included in the kit are three components; the silicone sleeve, an inner sizing core, and the plug (inserted it in the end to create the vacuum suction). For the most part putting it all together easy to do; just add some lube, slide the core all the way to the top of the sleeve, insert your erect penis, squish the base to remove any air, and insert the plug. Easy peasy!

Note: Before use with a partner I suggest taking some time to explore on your own; masturbate with it, put all the parts together and remove them, let your partner use it (on a vibe or dildo) so they’re familiar with it, and make sure it’s the right size (this might require cutting the sleeve, core, or both). That way, when the time comes, you’ll be confident and know what to expect.  It’ll go a long way for making the experience a good one. Trust me on this.

Comparison

I’m going to assume the majority of reviews you read will be from those who have a penis and can give you some insight on what to expect as the one wearing it. This is sadly something I can’t do. Ahem, *vagina*. Instead, what I can do is offer what it’ll be like for the person you’re sharing with. A considerable point of interest for those looking to get something because their partner isn’t satisfied.

Rhino by Traz Penis Extension: SleekRhino by Traz Penis Extension: Sleek

Being the least intimidating of the three I opted to explore with the Sleek first. Resembling a lot of the dildos I own, the 1.5″ diameter was similar enough in size that I felt confident I could manage it without a hitch.

After a bit of foreplay and the addition of lube, the smooth shaft slid in effortlessly with a minimal amount of drag. Even though it was longer than I’m used to, it didn’t take long before we had a steady rhythm going, the supple silicone added a gentle cushioning that made deep thrusting comfortable and enjoyable.

Having said that I’ll admit it wasn’t quite what I was expecting. I knew what I was getting into reviewing these sleeves; that they were silicone and wouldn’t feel like a ‘real’ penis, but even with all the dildos I’ve used over the years it felt foreign. It wasn’t something I didn’t find pleasurable, because I did, I’m just used to certain sensations (i.e. the feeling of ‘him‘), and not having that took me by surprise. Fortunately that passed rather quickly and the two of us were able to focus on each other rather than the sleeve.

As for using it to masturbate with, my tester was impressed. He said he could feel the ridges inside as it slid up and down his shaft and that the suction action was something he thoroughly enjoyed. Because it’s thinner the grip can be better felt.

Who Will Like It

If you’re comfortable with your girth but want that ‘little bit more’ by way of length, I’d say choose a Sleek. The sleeve is adequately ‘above average’, but still totally doable. That isn’t to say it won’t add girth if you need it, because it will.  It’s also the most comfortable of the three, both to wear and insert.  On that note, being lighter than the other two it shouldn’t weigh your penis down, something my partner complained about with the larger versions.

Rhino by Traz Penis Extension: GenisisRhino by Traz Penis Extension: Genesis

After conquering the Sleek with a minimal amount of effort I suffered from a bout of overconfidence and rushed into the Genesis, after all, how much difference could a half inch make?

Let me tell you, it makes A BIG DIFFERENCE.

Although they look damn near identical, save for a half inch upgrade in girth, these two sleeves are worlds apart. Unlike the Sleek, Genesis is bulky with a weight increase that’s noticeable from just holding it. Flexibility is also something they don’t share; Sleek is exceptionally pliable, whereas Genesis is much more substantial with minimal give. There’s also a slightly raised bump in the head of the shaft designed to offer g-spot stimulation, making it feel thicker. All of these differences played a role in my ability, or lack thereof, to take the sleeve without a deliberate effort.

Between the weight of the sleeve pulling his dick down and my vag deciding it was too big, getting it in was a struggle. There was a considerable amount of discomfort at first, followed by a cycle of start, stop, remove, add lube, etc until it was half in. At that point we had to just leave it alone so my body could relax and adjust. Then, just when I thought we’d have to quit, he gave a gentle thrust and it slid into place perfectly. As someone that doesn’t regularly use anything larger than 5″ in length or 1.5″ in diameter, this was a major accomplishment.

The size was fulfilling without being too much, and once we got into the swing of things it became surprisingly comfortable. From that point each thrust went from discomfort to instant gratification. Not at all what I expected considering the amount of effort it took to get it in.

Like the previous version it serves well as a masturbation device, with the added thickness offering some decent squish and give.

Who Will Like It

If you’re looking for an all around increase in size, we’re talking both girth and length, you’ll probably prefer the Genesis. It’s considerably heavier than the sleek, and also less flexible, but it feels a lot more substantial. Like the Sleek, the Genesis has dense ribbing, making it perfect for masturbation sessions.

Rhino by Traz Penis Extension: StampedeRhino by Traz Penis Extension: Stampede

There was no time that I wasn’t overwhelmed by the Stampede. If we’re being honest, it’s safe to say that I was legitimately afraid. I probably sound like a big sissy, but here’s the thing, until you hold it in your hands and feel the heft behind it, you really won’t appreciate the situation.

Let me make this very clear: the Stampede is a beast, not unlike the Tantus T-Rex, however there is one big difference between the two; with the T-Rex you’re in full control, after all it is just a dildo and you’re the boss. With the Stampede however, you’re at the mercy of the person wielding it.  A scary thought for someone like me. Again, I’m going to emphasize the fact that my vadge is most pleased with anything 5″ in length and 1.5″ – 2″ inches in diameter, however in it’s entirety (we’re talking 8″ x 2.2″), the Stampede seemed staggering.

Even with all the right prepping, the first time we tried was a no-go; there was lube, and lots of it. Dirty grooves played in the background. I even went so far as to get the body wand original and a Vixen Maverick involved for a good half hour. Didn’t matter, my vagina shut down and refused entry. Fortunately I wasn’t alone in my disappointment, due to the added weight my partner had a hard time maneuvering and found himself using it like a barbell to show off his “dick lifting skills” rather than screw me with.

Never one to accept defeat I decided to take matters into my own hands literally and break out the big guns; there was a bottle of Chardonnay (for drinking! pervs), four of my largest dildos, my favorite lube, and an old acrylic vibe that hasn’t seen the light of day in years. One by one I worked through the toys until I thought I’d be able to handle the Stampede. Then, inch by overly large inch, I manged to get it in fully, though not comfortably or to my liking. Thrusting didn’t feel like the others; the matte texturing added some drag and the weight of it made my wrist tired. Eventually I gave up and left it inserted while stimulating externally until I climaxed around the thick shaft. Let’s just say it offers a fullness that’s hard to beat.

This was also my partners least favourite when it came to use as a masturbation sleeve. He said that although the thickness added a lot of cushioning, it didn’t offer as much control over ‘tightness’ as he would have liked. Also, because the internal core has ridges that are more spread out, it wasn’t as stimulating. He still enjoyed it, just not as much.

Who Will Like It

If you’re the type that follows the motto “go big or go home“, the Stampede is for you. If you love big cock, the Stampede is for you. If you don’t shy away from a challenge and like the idea of feeling like a badass after conquering something large and in charge, the Stampede is for you. Point being, this baby is no joke. It’s products like this that make me wish I was a size queen. *sigh*

internal sleeves traz rhino

The Bad

Due to the size of the internal hole you may or may not fit inside. As for length, if you’re 4 ½” to 5″ inches you should be fine with leaving the sleeves as is, though if you’re larger you may need to trim the inner core.  If you’re shorter than 4 1/2″ you’ll likely need to cut the sleeve to custom fit, otherwise it’ll hang off and feel segmented.

They don’t feel like a “real” penis. Instead, it’s like having sex with a partner who’s penis has been replaced by a really great dildo. That’s not me knocking it, I just don’t want you to expect it to feel “human” and be disappointed.

You’re probably going to worry that the plug will come out inside you, lost to the depths of your vadge forever more… I know I did. Thankfully it never happened. I can’t promise that it won’t for you, but of all the times we used it I didn’t have any issues. #vacuumsealforthewin

The website states that they can be used anally, however this is something I didn’t try as I have a strict ‘must have a base to go in my butt’ policy. You could place it on a dildo that has a base and see how things go, but I just wasn’t willing to chance it.

Because they’re rather small, think of a thumb tack minus the pin, there’s a likely chance you’ll accidentally lose or misplace your plug. If you do, don’t worry. Just email the folks at Traz and they’ll send you a replacement or two.

Care & Cleaning

Because they wont retain bodily fluids, lube or bacteria, they don’t require heavy duty cleaning. Simply give them a good wash with mild soap and water and let them sit to air dry. Or, if you’re a clean freak, you can boil them in water for 3 minutes, toss ’em in your dishwasher, or wash them with a 10% bleach solution. Though honestly, it’s pretty unnecessary.

Final Verdict – Rhino by Traz Penis Extension

Rhino by Traz Penis ExtensionI was first introduced to penis sleeves 9 years ago. The concept was strange to me, the product even more so. I mean, why wouldn’t someone just learn to work with what they had? Seemed reasonable enough. Especially to someone who preferred things on the smaller side and didn’t really understand the whole size queen thing. But I was a noob and really didn’t know any better.

Now, almost a decade later, I’ve come to understand just how helpful a good extension can be. Not only for the person wearing it, but the partner that might want just that little bit more… or in the case of the Stampede or Genesis sleeves, a lot more.

After all, if your partner can use something bigger than you, like a dildo, why can’t you put on a high quality sleeve and do it yourself? You can. And that’s the whole point.

Review:Fleshlight Succu Dry And Count Cockula Masturbators

Fleshlight Succu Dry Masturbator ReviewI started October with a post about the insanely bizarre (and totally badass!) Fleshlight Freaks, followed up with a review of the Miss Diagnosed Nurse Costume, and now, to  launch us into the month known by die hard Twilight fans as ‘the one where Breaking Dawn came out’, I’ll be keeping with the theme by offering this review of the vampire mouthed Fleshlight Succu Dry and Count Cockula.

Of course I totally understand that these wont appeal to everyone, in fact, I’m pretty sure they’ll appeal to very few of you. However, being that they’re made by one of my favourite companies, and feature one of my all time favourite undead ‘monsters’ I just couldn’t resist.

*For those of you interested, in the coming days I’ll be holding a giveaway that includes 1 Succu Dry, 1 Tantus Vamp Dildo, 1 Fleshlight Drac dildo and a bunch of other goodies to coincide with the November 18 release date of the film Breaking Dawn (you know, the one with the mopey girl who falls in love with a vampire, but can’t be with said vampire because he’s a vampire, yet still loves said vampire even though he can’t keep her warm at night, so she falls for a werewolf who can keep her warm but probably also smells like a wet dog once he’s been out in the rain. Vampire and girl have sex. Werewolf  looses his shit, epic battle between vampires and werewolves ensue, yadda, yadda, yadda…yeah, that one. Want a more simplistic view of of the movie – check The Oatmeal, How Twilight Works)

*Totally proud of myself for finding a way to work The Oatmeal into a post about sex toys and vampires!! <- nod to Tosh 2.0 on that one.

Packaging

Fleshlight Succu Dry

Just like the majority of Sex In A Can  products the packaging is pretty stellar, and while the vampire versions may not be the most discreet, they’re definitely one a kind and branded exactly as I’d expect with red, black and white coloring, cheesy yet hilarious descriptions and graphic designs that are some of the best you’ll find on a male masturbator.

*They got the amazing designer Hydro74 to do the artwork, no wonder they’re so badass!

Each of the fake cans has quite a bit of weight to it (coming in at around a pound) and like a regular beer or pop can, has a flip tab lid (because the tab is part of the case it can’t be opened). The outer casing is made of solid plastic in a silverish tone with a matte finish that’s rather basic, I can only assume they were going for the ‘undead’ gray tone with that. Due to the writing and imagery I’m pretty sure they’re not something someone would immediately identify as as “sex toy”. However, if they pick it up and open it, you can bet your sweet ass they’ll ask what it is. You’ve been warned.

Fleshlight Succu Dry

The ‘straight’ version – Succu Dry – features a graphic design of  slightly pissed looking female vamp on the front, red and white tribal design around the top of the can, a ‘warning’ on one side and product description on the other. In true Fleshlight fashion, both are cheekily written:

Government Warning: (1) Guidelines for sex with vampires, the Nosferatu, Succubi, or other undead have not been established, but the rumors are gushing! (2) Should bleeding from the canine incisions in the neck occur in combinations of feelings of ecstasy, uncontrolled ejaculation, and submission, path with garlic to prevent excess fedding and seek consecrated ground before calling 911. Or just enjoy!“”

Feed The Need – Take a walk on the dark side and get familiar with this pale brew. But be careful! Though this may feel like love at first bite, make sure you have your wood poised to penetrate before you get completely drained! Enjoy to excess to ensure encounters with Succu Dry are A-Positive experience.”

Count Cockula

count cockula

The ‘gay’ version – Count Cockula – features the lower half of a male vampires face, complete with baring teeth and a trickle of blood on the lips. Splashed across the front in bright metallic red is the word “Cockula”, with the top of the letter “k” shaped like an erect penis (clever little so and so’s aren’t they!).  Unlike the Succu Dry can which had a tribal design around the top, there’s a solid black band with the word “Fleshjack” in white print that’s bordered by two thin red wisp designs. One side of the can has a ‘Government Warning’ and on the other, a similarly cheeky product description:

Government Warning: May cause full body convulsions and light-headedness. May also give your cock life after death. Call your doctor if erections last longer than four thousand years. To end erections cause by Count Cock-ula Soda, just kiss a guy with garlic breath. That always kills our vampire erections.”

Soda with Bite! Teeth are usually the last thing you want when getting sucked off. But with Count Cock-ula, the fear of being bitten is all the fun. So get ready to polish up your stake and drive it into this soft, vampire mouth for an orgasm that will wake the dead.

 The Good

As I’ve said in nearly every Fleshlight review, I can’t help but be impressed. Sure the vampire versions may be out of the ordinary (read ‘bizarre’, ‘freaky’, ‘kinky’) but that’s just part of their charm. I mean really, how many other vampire blow job devices are there? I’m betting on less than 5, possibly less than 3 – including these 2 – which only leaves the possibility of one more, which I’m going to assume would be a far crappier version – and that’s even if it exists to begin with.

When it comes to material, the fanged and crooked toothed mouth is crafted out of the same soft and pliable Real Feel Super Skin® all major Fleshlight products are made from, offering a high-quality texture that’s specially designed to replicate the sensation of penetrative sex. Fortunately the entire sleeve (read ‘mouth’) is made this way, eliminating the painful experience real fangs and teeth might provide.

Both also adjust to body temperature rather quickly, retaining heat very well. If you’d like to alter the sensation from the start, simply place them in warm water until they reach the desired temperature then remove for use ( just remember DO NOT boil or microwave it them – you WILL ruin them!)

In regard to the stats you’re looking at 7 3/4″ total length (all useable), a total circumference of 9 1/4′ (the can), an entrance that will comfortably fit up to an inch girth and a total width of 2/34 inches.  Taking those figures into consideration, I do want to make it clear that while it may seem fairly accommodating, because the sleeve has extra material all the way around to help it fill up the can and stay in place, it can be rather tight. Some might like it, some might not, either way I figured it was worth mentioning.

For the most part its exceptionally easy to use, just unscrew the cap, pour some lube down the interior, think dirty thoughts about vampires and go to it! If you’re looking for a better suction, or to experiment with the sensations simply unscrew the bottom cap until the desired effect is achieved.

Feedback

Since I can’t use the products myself I had to hand them off to folks who’s honest opinions I trust, this is what they had to say…

*names have been removed to protect my testers privacy, each was given one can to sample, a Fleshlight Succu Dry or Count Cockula respectively.

First Impressions:

Count Cockula Tester –  “I really don’t know what to say about this. On the one hand it’s a pretty cool concept. On the other, the thought of ramming my man bits in a vampires mouth is kinda scary. Yes I know it’s fake, but still…”

Succu Dry Tester –  “Okay, this is kind of freaky looking. So long as I get to pretend it’s that hot chick from Underworld I’ll do it!”

After Use:

Fleshlight Count Cockula Tester–  “Well, I can honestly say that was interesting. It was a little uncomfortable at first (he didn’t use lube) but then it got way better (after he added lube). The internal fang things felt really bizarre, they didn’t hurt, but I couldn’t stroke as hard as I usually would and when I adjusted the suction, if you can call it that, it basically super sucked to my dick. It didn’t hurt, just scared me because I thought it was stuck and I’d have to go to the hospital with this weird vampire thing balls deep on me. Once I figured out how to use it properly it let go and I got the chance to fiddle with the different suctions. The texture was really soft and completely different then what I thought it would be which made experimenting with different ways of using it really easy.”

Fleshlight Succu Dry Tester – “Wow. Okay, I can honestly say I’m impressed. I didn’t really know what to expect, actually that’s a lie, I was terrified it would rip my dick off! Surprisingly, it felt really good! The nubbed fangs inside were a little rough though, they almost felt like they were gripping my foreskin. Then again, it’s supposed to be a vampires mouth so I assume they did that on purpose. The only thing I had issues with was getting my dick inside when I first started, it was a pretty tight fit so it was a little uncomfortable, but after I added a lot of lube I was fine. I liked how soft and squishy it was, probably a good thing since it made it far less intimidating that way.”

Final Thoughts:

Count Cockula Tester – “Would I recommend this to others? Sure, but only if they had some kind of vampire fetish, otherwise I’d just suggest the regular Sex In A Can things, they’re a little less scary and are a lot more discreet”

Succu Dry Tester – “If I had to suggest one of the Fleshlight products I don’t know if it would be this one. Sure it’s fun and all, but I don’t know how people would react if I said something like ‘hey, you should get a fake vampire fleshy thing to suck your dick’, you know what I mean? I’d probably suggest the bigger one (he meant the larger Fleshlight not a Sex In A Can), it’s a lot more comfortable, has more room to work with and doesn’t have fangs”

The Bad

When it comes to possible dislikes with the product there are sadly a few to consider;

1.) Since the cases are rather thick and not quite as long as the original Fleshlights (which are much longer and wider), they tend to offer a much tighter and shorter fit. For some of you this might be a good thing, for others an uncomfortable annoyance. The best advice I can give is to measure yourself when erect, then make a decision based on your size. Also, keep in mind that you can remove the sleeve from the case and use it that way – some prefer this method as it gives more control over the grip/sensation.

2.) Because the cans are smaller it’s also a little harder to vary the level of suction you’re going to experience. I’ve been told that it’s almost as if you get a powerful one or none at all. Since I don’t have a penis I can’t really offer my opinion, guess you’ll just have to try for yourself (go on, you know you want to!).

3.) This one is strictly coming from those that I’ve talked to who have used the product (6 people in total); because this model has an interior texture of little nubs that resemble fangs, it has the potential to be a slightly uncomfortable experience, one that doesn’t allow for heavy or rough thrusting. If you like a firm grip and being rough these might not be the ones for you.

4.) No matter how I angled myself, how close or far away I looked, or how much I wanted to see some major differences in the mouths I just couldn’t. It seems as though they’ve taken the same sleeve and just popped it into two very different cases. Not that I’m really complaining. After all, it’s the fangs (not the lips) that count with these versions. For those of you that do care about the lips, you may want to consider the versions taken from the molds of different porn stars instead (Female Fleshlight Porn Stars, Male Fleshlight Porn Stars).

*View both versions of the vampire mouths to the left and tell me what the major difference is. There’s none. Case closed.

Care & Cleaning

When it comes to lubes I would only suggest a good water based one as a silicone or oil based product will ruin it. Trust me on this!

To clean it simply remove the insert from the case and rinse it very well with lukewarm water; the product is porous so you will want to make sure there is no “residue” (read semen, lube etc) left behind. Once it’s clean either let it air dry or pat it with a lint free cloth (NEVER rub it or you will ruin the texture and appearance). Once it’s dry shake some corn starch or Renewing Powder and pat it gently; this will help to keep it soft and supple, rather then allow it to get sticky or tacky with use.

*If you do notice that it’s gotten gummy, sticky or tacky don’t worry, it’s not defective and don’t use soap or harsh chemicals to try to clean it. If it’s really bad you can try using isopropyl alcohol – again, be gentle.  The material tends to do that over time (as do most other UR3, Cyberskin and similar materials).

Final Verdict

When it comes to wonderfully bizarre and kinky sexual wellness products, these are high on my list. Sure, there are others that also offer an intensely unique experience (Bad Dragon takes the cake for that!), but because of the designs used they’re unfortunately little less ‘mainstream’ and far more ‘shock and awe’ inspiring (vampire mouth or 14 inch Dragon dong? You decide).

In my opinion, Fleshlight has managed to jump that hurdle by creating something that’s a little twisted, but very popular with a larger group of people and therefor much more accepted as a viable option when seeking sexual satisfaction w/ the undead (with the amount of sexy vampire characters on TV and in the movies how could it not be?). So, if you’re looking for a well made product that fulfills your vampire fantasies and potentially allows you to explore in ways you never dreamed imaginable, I’d highly suggest checking out the Fleshlight Succu Dry or Count Cockula male masturbators. Who knows, that bite just might surprise you.

Review: Ashton Moore Pocket Pussy

Ever since I got a Fleshlight (for my partner) I’ve become a snob when it comes to male masturbators. No matter how hard I try, I always find myself doing a comparison with the expectation and assumption that the almighty Fleshlight will rise victorious against the competition.

It doesn’t help that so many fake vaginas seem to run a distant fourth or fifth to the realism (both in feel and appearance), level of discretion and quality the Fleshlight line of products have to offer.

Having said that, I do think the porn star molded Pocket Pussies created by Doc Johnson (sent to me by the lovely folks at SexToy.com) come in at a very close third, especially for those of you on a tight budget.  (*they’re only $12.89!!)

The Good

The first thing that impressed me was the appearance; not only does Ashtons Pocket Pussy feel relatively real, being soft to the touch and very much like skin, it’s also a close enough replica that I don’t feel any need to complain.

On top of the realistic appearance, I love that the user can adjust the level of stimulation and tightness simply by squeezing their hand (something the Fleshlight can’t do). The grooves on the outside make this task exceptionally easy, not to mention make it very comfortable to hold.

In regard to size the product measures 5.5 inches in total length and 1.5 inches in width. With that in mind, if you’re penis is longer than 5.5 inches you might want to consider something else as you will most likely find that your head pops out of the opening in the end. If however you are 5.5 inches or under, Ashton should be a perfect fit!

*I’m not sure if they were going for this but when looking at the hole in the opposite end, it seems it could easily be used as an anus, if you’re into that kind of thing.

For those of you that like the feeling of warmth the Pocket Pussies retain heat nicely; simply place them in warm water (not boiling) for up to one minute, then remove from the water and enjoy!

Testers Experience

As I’m sure most of you are all well aware, I sadly (for me) do not have a penis and therefor cannot enjoy or review these products the way I’d like. Fortunately I have many male friends that are more than willing to lend a hand, or erect penis, making these reviews a possibility:

*name has been omitted to respect privacy

Me: “So what do you think” *placing product in his hand*

Him: “Did you seriously just put a Pocket Pussy in my hand?” *laughing*

Me: “Sure did, so what do you think?”

Him: “Well, I’ll admit it’s interesting. It’s lighter than I thought it would be, feels squishy, doesn’t stink like those rubber toys and looks kinda real”

Me: “Does it look cheap?”

Him: “No, not really. Though it is much smaller than my Fleshlight which might be a good thing.”

Me: “If you saw it in a sex shop would you buy it?”

Him: “Probably not, I haven’t heard much about it and I don’t know how good it would be. Although, for under $15.00 it seems like a good deal.”

Me: “Well, if I give it to you will you promise to show it a good time?”

Him: “Give me a week…”

A week later…

Me: “So what did you think of Ashton?”

Him: “Okay, I have to say I was rather pleasantly surprised!”

Me: “Why?”

Him: “Well, first of all, it actually felt good. Not exactly like a real girl would feel, but it was close enough that I didn’t need to force myself to imagine it was something else.  It’s really easy to use and it was really comfortable to hold onto. I love my Fleshlight but sometimes it’s a little tiresome, this wasn’t at all awkward or bulky. I also really liked that I could adjust how tight or loose it was. So many products they make these days are either way too small (tight) or make you feel like your f*cking a hole in the wall. This, for me anyways, was a nice change.”

Me: “Anything you didn’t like?”

Him: “I couldn’t put myself all the way in or the tip (of his penis) would pop out the other end. But that’s basically it”

Me: “How was cleaning it?”

Him: “A little messy, but a lot easier than cleaning my Fleshlight and there weren’t any other parts to worry about so it was pretty simple”

Me: “Would you suggest it to other dudes?”

Him: “Sure would! I think this would be good for most guys because it’s cheap, easy to use, feels close enough to the real thing and holds up to quite a beating”

There you have it folks, an honest review from a dude that actually used the product. Although I will admit, I’m still sad I couldn’t try it myself.

Cleaning & Care

Since they are made of  body safe, hypoallergenic, non-toxic and phthalate free UR3 material I would only suggest a good water based lube as a silicone or oil based one will totally ruin them.

Keep in mind that because they are made of UR3 they are very porous and will absorb bodily fluids, lube and bacteria. To help keep them in good condition I suggest wearing a condom when you use them (though you don’t have to) which will limit the amount of fluids/bacteria that they come into contact with.

In regard to cleaning, I suggest you wash them well with either a gentle anti-bacterial soap (making sure to rinse them well) or use a good toy cleaner that will kill any bacteria without also ruining the product.

*Side note: You’ll probably notice that when you get your Pocket Pussy it will be covered in a powdery substance; this is to help keep the surface from getting sticky and/or tacky. To maintain the outer texture and appearance just dust it with either Renew powder (only $2.19) or Cornstarch. To do this simply put some on your clean hand and pat all over the masturbator.  Once it’s evenly coated (not too heavily) wrap it in the plastic bag it came in and store it in a cool, dark place for next time.

*DO NOT dust the product with Talc or Baby Powder, both can possibly cause irritation and/or may not do much to maintain the products feel or appearance.

The Bad

One of my main complaints is the packaging. Sure it’s meant for guys and therefore would follow in the footsteps of other male sex products, having an image of the person/product on the box to help bring a level of excitement, arousal and/or desire, however it’s not the most discreet and for some people that’s a big deal.

Since it’s made of UR3 it’s porous which means it requires a bit more attention than other sex toys when it comes to cleaning and maintenance. On that note, if not dusted with Cornstarch or Renew powder (pictured left) after each use it will get sticky and tacky.

Speaking of being sticky, if not treated properly it will become a lint, cat hair, fluff and dust collector in no time. My suggestion, spend the money on the Renew powder and save yourself the headache.

As for whether or not it’s an exact replica of Ashtons va-jay-jay, I really have no clue. I compared it with a picture of her here (NSFW) and it looks pretty close so I’m not going to trash on it. That in mind, I know that Fleshlight uses actual molds of the girls vaginas to make their products which is why they are so realistic.  Check out this video of Teagan Presleys mold being made.

Final Verdict

Sure, they aren’t as high in quality, nor as discreet as the ones Fleshlight make (since you don’t have the outer case to disguise them), but they do have different internal textures to offer extra stimulation,  stretch rather nicely to accommodate different size penises, retain heat nicely, come in 6 different porn star molds, are made of body safe material, feel and look pretty real, are very affordable ($12.89) and while they require a bit more care than other sex toys, they are easy to clean and should last for a quite while.

Taking all of that into consideration, I just can’t help but think they are a great option for those on a budget or anyone looking to try something new.

Review: Tantus Stroker XL

Next up in my list of male reviews is the Tantus Stroker XL, a non toxic, phthalate and latex free, hygienic, hypoallergenic, waterproof, and easy to care for male masturbation sleeve that’s made of ultra premium silicone.

For those of you not familiar with the company, Tantus is the manufacturer of such fantastic and forward thinking products like the Alumina Pace, Revolve, Flow and Motion, a line created out of body safe Aluminum. All of the parts within the line are interchangeable and very easy to use, allowing you to combine and explore to your hearts content. They also make some of the best, not to mention extremely safe, anal toys like the Little Flirt (I suggest it for all beginners), Small Ripple (beginner to moderate) and Tex (definitely for experts in anal play). And finally, if you’re looking for extremely high quality silicone dildos that are body safe, can be used vaginally or anally, are easy to use with some having the option of offering a vibration (by way of an insertable bullet) you don’t need to look any further – no matter what you’re looking for Tantus most likely makes it!

It’s because of the above benefits and features the company is known for that I was very excited to receive the Stroker XL, having both high standards for it and a preconceived notion of what to expect.

Fortunately I wasn’t disappointed – or should I say my “tester” wasn’t disappointed!

Packaging

Like all of the products Tantus makes the packaging is professional, discreet, straight forward and highly informative. There are no naked individuals, pictures of genitals or “inappropriate” language. While it does say “dramatically enhance male masturbation” and “designed to simulate contractions” the writing is in an italic handwritten font making it something your eye doesn’t necessarily notice or drift to. Regardless of that, considering that the inside display is removable and something you could easily throw out it’s not that big of a deal.

*I suggest saving the plastic case for storing your Stroker when not in use.

The Good

As for the actual product; it’s slightly rigid while maintaining some flexibility, supple, slightly squishy, rather thick, externally soft and odorless, has a bit of weight to it and comes in an almost transparent white color. Internally there are 9 (3 sets of 3) soft and flexible ridges that protrude from the product, all designed to mimic a contraction of the vaginal or anal muscles during intercourse.

In regard to measurements the Stroker XL is 5″ in length by 2″ in width and has an internal tunnel (hole?) measuring about an inch. That said, if your dick measures 5 inches or under I would suggest the original Stroker which measures 4.5″ in length and 1.5″ in width. If you’re larger than that I would suggest the Stroker XL.

*don’t think that because of its shape and size you have to fully insert your penis, just insert what’s comfortable and works for you.

While I don’t think there is much explanation needed when it comes to using the product I’ll lay out the instructions just so no one gets confused: apply a thick coating of your favorite water-based lube, insert your erect penis and begin stroking. That’s it, it’s really that simple.

For those of you that want to get a bit more out of the experience I suggest that while stroking you adjust the tension of your grip from a light squeeze to a firm grasp, an action that will cause the internal ridges to tighten and release simulating an orgasmic contraction around your dick.

Experience

Since I don’t have a penis duh, I was unfortunately not able to try the product myself (again with the penis envy), so I got one of my trusted “testers” to give it a go for me and tell me what he thought, this was his response:

When I asked what the thought of the product: “At first it was a little rigid and hard but I stretched it, even though you said not to, and it got a little more flexible. I know I’m no expert, but to me it seems like it’s not really enough to accommodate guys with bigger than average sized dicks (meaning girth). It’s very sturdy and resilient so no matter how rough I was I never worried about ripping or tearing it. You’ve given me stuff before and I’ve been afraid of ruining it, I didn’t think twice with this. Using it is a little different as well, the ridges are interesting, they don’t necessarily hurt but they did pulled on my foreskin a bit which made me nervous. I liked that I had control over the tension or tightness to a certain degree, when I squeezed hard it was tighter and when I let it go it kinda felt like a contraction, maybe, I’m still not sure about that claim but I will say it felt good. Clean up was very easy since I just washed it with soap and water.”

When I asked if there were any tips or pointers he’d suggest: “Yes, use lots of lube because if you don’t it can start to pull. Use it really gently at first just so your body can get used to the sensation and you can get a feel for whether or not you really need to tighten your grip and get yourself good and hard first, if you try to stick it in (your dick) before your hard it just feels weird *laughing*. This last suggestion might defeat the purpose of the tightness but I’d personally suggest stretching it out a few times with your hands before using it to jerk off”

*he meant stretching it to be wider, not necessarily longer.

When I asked if he’d recommend it: “Well, you could leave it lying around and not be too worried if someone found it. After all it doesn’t look like a butt hole or a vag. It’s sturdy and built to last. It doesn’t have a smell to it like other toys on the market. It’s very easy to use and with the exception of the pulling it did feel good. I guess I’d say yes, but I’d warn guys with a foreskin before hand that they need to use lots of lube and be gentle until they know what they’re doing”

Sounds reasonable enough to me.

Care & Cleaning

Since the it’s is made of silicone (and premium silicone at that) I would only suggest a good water based lube, if you use a silicone lube you run the risk of having it break down over time which would ruin it.  Yes I know I sound like a broken record on the lube front, but I’d rather make sure you’re all informed than have you use something you shouldn’t simply because I neglected to tell you.

As for cleaning nothing could be simpler, especially considering all the options available: you can bleach it, boil it, put it in the dishwasher, wash it with anti bacterial soap and rinse it well or simply spray it with toy cleaner.

*I would only suggest boiling products that are 100% silicone, not a mix of silicone and another substance as that would most likely ruin (melt or deform) them. To my knowledge there are only a few companies making products that can be boiled for complete sterilization and Tantus is one of them.

The Bad

Since I wasn’t able to try the product myself I asked my “tester’ what he thought, this was his response:

“It pulled on my foreskin and wasn’t as soft as I would have imagined. I liked that it was kinda rigid, but I would have preferred it be a little more soft and squishy. I know it might sound stupid but when I jerk off with something other than my hand I like for it to feel as close to the real thing as possible – pussies are usually soft, wet, cushy and have some give to them, this didn’t really feel that way. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, just not what I expected. Sure the lube helped with the wetness but the rest I didn’t have much control over.”

As for my own personal dislikes regarding the product, it tends to collect lint, fluffy, string, dust, hair and anything else that it might come into contact with. On that note, I’d suggest you keep the plastic container it comes in (just throw out the paper insert) to ensure that you don’t have to wash it every time you want to use it.

Final Verdict

Considering the product is easy to use, hypo allergenic, hygienic, body safe, easy to care for and clean, made of premium grade silicone, built to last and very discreet I would definitely suggest it as something new for my male readers/viewers to try.

On that note, if you’re circumcised you should have a pretty good experience with it. However if your not, I would still suggest it, just make sure to use lots of lube, go gentle and be aware of the sensations at all times to ensure that you don’t hurt yourself by accident.

If you want more info on the product or to make a purchase of any of the fantastic products Tantus makes I suggest you either check out my website or the Tantus website where shopping is discreet, easy and affordable.
