Who is Kara_Sutra?
Kara Sutra is a sex-positive advocate, vlogger, branding, media and product development consultant who spends her days reviewing sex toys and sharing sex advice on the web. In 2007 she created a web series on YouTube called Sex Ed 102 to help educate on sex positivity, sex toys, sexual techniques, contraception, and STI info.
For the last 11 years Kara’s been at the forefront of the sex positive blogging movement, including working with manufacturers, retailers, production companies, and University programs. She has also fought against censorship and the deletion of intellectual property.
Kara was featured on the Channel5 UK tv series ‘Sex Lessons’, made the top 10 list of Kinklys Sex Blogging Superheroes (2013), top 5 Readers Choice of Kinklys Sex blogging Superheros (2015), and the top 10 list of Sex & Love Bloggers in Glamour Magazine (Brazil edition, 2014).
She has been quoted in the American Journal of Sexuality Education, was a presenter at the 2015 Feminist Porn Awards, and has been interviewed in XBIZ Premiere magazine, Sex Life Canada, Glamour, and Cosmopolitan, among others. Her tweets even made the Daily Mail.

What is Sex Ed 102 w/ Kara Sutra?
In her early 20’s Kara became roommates with Todd Klinck, a published Canadian writer, pornography producer and director, and professional dominant. Though their relationship was purely platonic, while living with Todd, Kara gained her first glimpse of the world of BDSM and a very candid look at the world of pornography, the extremes of kink, as well as the sex trade industry.
Through this experience Kara came to learn the safety issues related to BDSM and the misinformation the general public had about the subject. She took this knowledge and applied it to her work at the adult toy store where she was employed, gaining her repeat clientele on the much sought out subject.
During this time she came to the quick realization that there was a great misconception and stigma still attached to human sexuality and one’s own comfort with their body. Sensing this, Kara decided to make it her goal to bring awareness to the subject as well as allow others a platform where sex could be talked about openly and honestly, without any judgment.
Soon after, Kara began teaching seminars on a variety of sexual topics including; “How to Manually Stimulate Your Partner”, “Pleasurable Oral Sex”, and “Anal Sex: A Beginners Guide”. The classes were so well received that it set her on a new path, allowing an opportunity to help others with their sex lives.
Wanting to reach a larger audience she created her brainchild ‘Sex Ed 102’.
Sex Ed 102 is a show that is informative, fun, and unabashedly frank. It delves into the many aspects of sexual wellness that are otherwise ignored or mishandled. Sex advice and product reviews dominate the show’s content, all sprinkled with Kara’s signature style. What is Kara_Sutra Reviews?
