Sex Ed 102 Product Review: Fleshlight Succu Dry And Count Cockula Masturbators

Fleshlight Succu Dry Masturbator ReviewUpdate: These versions are no longer available, however you can get your hands on a whole new set of Fleshlight Freaks and Fantasy Sleeves!

I started October with a post about the insanely bizarre (and totally badass!) Fleshlight Freaks, followed up with a review of the Miss Diagnosed Nurse Costume, and now, to  launch us into the month known by die hard Twilight fans as ‘the one where Breaking Dawn came out’, I’ll be keeping with the theme by offering this review of the vampire mouthed Fleshlight Succu Dry and Count Cockula.

Of course I totally understand that these wont appeal to everyone, in fact, I’m pretty sure they’ll appeal to very few of you. However, being that they’re made by one of my favourite companies, and feature one of my all time favourite undead ‘monsters’ I just couldn’t resist.

*For those of you interested, in the coming days I’ll be holding a giveaway that includes 1 Succu Dry, 1 Tantus Vamp Dildo, 1 Fleshlight Drac dildo and a bunch of other goodies to coincide with the November 18 release date of the film Breaking Dawn (you know, the one with the mopey girl who falls in love with a vampire, but can’t be with said vampire because he’s a vampire, yet still loves said vampire even though he can’t keep her warm at night, so she falls for a werewolf who can keep her warm but probably also smells like a wet dog once he’s been out in the rain. Vampire and girl have sex. Werewolf  looses his shit, epic battle between vampires and werewolves ensue, yadda, yadda, yadda…yeah, that one. Want a more simplistic view of of the movie – check The Oatmeal, How Twilight Works)

*Totally proud of myself for finding a way to work The Oatmeal into a post about sex toys and vampires!! <- nod to Tosh 2.0 on that one.

Packaging

Just like the majority of Sex In A Can  products the packaging is pretty stellar, and while the vampire versions may not be the most discreet, they’re definitely one a kind and branded exactly as I’d expect with red, black and white coloring, cheesy yet hilarious descriptions and graphic designs that are some of the best you’ll find on a male masturbator.

*They got the amazing designer Hydro74 to do the artwork, no wonder they’re so badass!

Each of the fake cans has quite a bit of weight to it (coming in at around a pound) and like a regular beer or pop can, has a flip tab lid (because the tab is part of the case it can’t be opened). The outer casing is made of solid plastic in a silverish tone with a matte finish that’s rather basic, I can only assume they were going for the ‘undead’ gray tone with that. Due to the writing and imagery I’m pretty sure they’re not something someone would immediately identify as as “sex toy”. However, if they pick it up and open it, you can bet your sweet ass they’ll ask what it is. You’ve been warned.

Fleshlight Succu Dry

The ‘straight’ version – Succu Dry – features a graphic design of  slightly pissed looking female vamp on the front, red and white tribal design around the top of the can, a ‘warning’ on one side and product description on the other. In true Fleshlight fashion, both are cheekily written:

Government Warning: (1) Guidelines for sex with vampires, the Nosferatu, Succubi, or other undead have not been established, but the rumors are gushing! (2) Should bleeding from the canine incisions in the neck occur in combinations of feelings of ecstasy, uncontrolled ejaculation, and submission, path with garlic to prevent excess fedding and seek consecrated ground before calling 911. Or just enjoy!“”

Feed The Need – Take a walk on the dark side and get familiar with this pale brew. But be careful! Though this may feel like love at first bite, make sure you have your wood poised to penetrate before you get completely drained! Enjoy to excess to ensure encounters with Succu Dry are A-Positive experience.”

Count Cockula

The ‘gay’ version – Count Cockula – features the lower half of a male vampires face, complete with baring teeth and a trickle of blood on the lips. Splashed across the front in bright metallic red is the word “Cockula”, with the top of the letter “k” shaped like an erect penis (clever little so and so’s, aren’t they).

Unlike the Succu Dry can which had a tribal design around the top, there’s a solid black band with the word “Fleshjack” in white print that’s bordered by two thin red wisp designs. One side of the can has a ‘Government Warning’ and on the other, a similarly cheeky product description:

Government Warning: May cause full body convulsions and light-headedness. May also give your cock life after death. Call your doctor if erections last longer than four thousand years. To end erections cause by Count Cock-ula Soda, just kiss a guy with garlic breath. That always kills our vampire erections.”

Soda with Bite! Teeth are usually the last thing you want when getting sucked off. But with Count Cock-ula, the fear of being bitten is all the fun. So get ready to polish up your stake and drive it into this soft, vampire mouth for an orgasm that will wake the dead.

 The Good

As I’ve said in nearly every Fleshlight review, I can’t help but be impressed. Sure the vampire versions may be out of the ordinary, but that’s just part of their charm. I mean really, how many other vampire blow job devices are there? I’m betting on less than 5, possibly less than 3 – including these 2 – which only leaves the possibility of one more, which I’m going to assume would be a far crappier version – and that’s even if it exists to begin with.

When it comes to material, the fanged and crooked toothed mouth is crafted out of the same soft and pliable Real Feel Super Skin® all major Fleshlight products are made from, offering a high-quality texture that’s specially designed to replicate the sensation of penetrative sex. Fortunately the entire sleeve is made this way, eliminating the painful experience real fangs and teeth might provide.

Both also adjust to body temperature rather quickly, retaining heat very well. If you’d like to alter the sensation from the start, simply place them in warm water until they reach the desired temperature then remove for use ( just remember DO NOT boil or microwave it them – you WILL ruin them!)

In regard to the stats you’re looking at 7 3/4″ total length (all useable), a total circumference of 9 1/4′ (the can), an entrance that will comfortably fit up to an inch girth and a total width of 2/34 inches.  Taking those figures into consideration, I do want to make it clear that while it may seem fairly accommodating, because the sleeve has extra material all the way around to help it fill up the can and stay in place, it can be rather tight. Some might like it, some might not, either way I figured it was worth mentioning.

For the most part its exceptionally easy to use, just unscrew the cap, pour some lube down the interior, think dirty thoughts about vampires and go to it! If you’re looking for a better suction, or to experiment with the sensations simply unscrew the bottom cap until the desired effect is achieved.

Feedback

Since I can’t use the products myself I had to hand them off to folks who’s honest opinions I trust, this is what they had to say…

*names have been removed to protect my testers privacy, each was given one can to sample, a Fleshlight Succu Dry or Count Cockula respectively.

First Impressions:

Count Cockula Tester –  “I really don’t know what to say about this. On the one hand it’s a pretty cool concept. On the other, the thought of ramming my man bits in a vampires mouth is kinda scary. Yes I know it’s fake, but still…”

Succu Dry Tester –  “Okay, this is kind of freaky looking. So long as I get to pretend it’s that hot chick from Underworld I’ll do it!”

After Use:

Fleshlight Count Cockula Tester–  “Well, I can honestly say that was interesting. It was a little uncomfortable at first (he didn’t use lube) but then it got way better (after he added lube). The internal fang things felt really bizarre, they didn’t hurt, but I couldn’t stroke as hard as I usually would and when I adjusted the suction, if you can call it that, it basically super sucked to my dick. It didn’t hurt, just scared me because I thought it was stuck and I’d have to go to the hospital with this weird vampire thing balls deep on me. Once I figured out how to use it properly it let go and I got the chance to fiddle with the different suctions. The texture was really soft and completely different then what I thought it would be which made experimenting with different ways of using it really easy.”

Fleshlight Succu Dry Tester – “Wow. Okay, I can honestly say I’m impressed. I didn’t really know what to expect, actually that’s a lie, I was terrified it would rip my dick off! Surprisingly, it felt really good! The nubbed fangs inside were a little rough though, they almost felt like they were gripping my foreskin. Then again, it’s supposed to be a vampires mouth so I assume they did that on purpose. The only thing I had issues with was getting my dick inside when I first started, it was a pretty tight fit so it was a little uncomfortable, but after I added a lot of lube I was fine. I liked how soft and squishy it was, probably a good thing since it made it far less intimidating that way.”

Final Thoughts:

Count Cockula Tester – “Would I recommend this to others? Sure, but only if they had some kind of vampire fetish, otherwise I’d just suggest the regular Sex In A Can things, they’re a little less scary and are a lot more discreet”

Succu Dry Tester – “If I had to suggest one of the Fleshlight products I don’t know if it would be this one. Sure it’s fun and all, but I don’t know how people would react if I said something like ‘hey, you should get a fake vampire fleshy thing to suck your dick’, you know what I mean? I’d probably suggest the bigger one (he meant the larger Fleshlight not a Sex In A Can), it’s a lot more comfortable, has more room to work with and doesn’t have fangs”

The Bad

When it comes to possible dislikes with the product there are sadly a few to consider;

Since the cases are rather thick and not quite as long as the original Fleshlights (which are much longer and wider), they tend to offer a much tighter and shorter fit. For some of you this might be a good thing, for others an uncomfortable annoyance. The best advice I can give is to measure yourself when erect, then make a decision based on your size. Also, keep in mind that you can remove the sleeve from the case and use it that way – some prefer this method as it gives more control over the grip/sensation.

Because the cans are smaller it’s also a little harder to vary the level of suction you’re going to experience. I’ve been told that it’s almost as if you get a powerful one or none at all. Since I don’t have a penis I can’t really offer my opinion, guess you’ll just have to try for yourself.

This one is strictly coming from those that I’ve talked to who have used the product (6 people in total); because this model has an interior texture of little nubs that resemble fangs, it has the potential to be a slightly uncomfortable experience, one that doesn’t allow for heavy or rough thrusting. If you like a firm grip and being rough these might not be the ones for you.

No matter how I angled myself, how close or far away I looked, or how much I wanted to see some major differences in the mouths I just couldn’t. It seems as though they’ve taken the same sleeve and just popped it into two very different cases (as pictured below). Not that I’m really complaining. After all, it’s the fangs (not the lips) that count with these versions. For those of you that do care about the lips, you may want to consider the versions taken from the moulds of different porn stars instead (Female Fleshlight Porn Stars, Male Fleshlight Porn Stars).

View both versions of the vampire mouths to the left and tell me what the major difference is. There’s none. Case closed.

Care & Cleaning

When it comes to lubes I would only suggest a good water based one as a silicone or oil based product will ruin it. Trust me on this!

To clean it simply remove the insert from the case and rinse it very well with lukewarm water; the product is porous so you will want to make sure there is no “residue” (read semen, lube etc) left behind. Once it’s clean either let it air dry or pat it with a lint free cloth (NEVER rub it or you will ruin the texture and appearance). Once it’s dry shake some corn starch or Renewing Powder and pat it gently; this will help to keep it soft and supple, rather then allow it to get sticky or tacky with use. If you don’t have any, you can also use cornstarch.

If you do notice that it’s gotten gummy, sticky, or tacky, don’t worry, it’s not defective and don’t use soap or harsh chemicals to try to clean it. If it’s really bad you can try using isopropyl alcohol – again, be gentle.  The material tends to do that over time (as do most other UR3, Cyberskin and similar materials).

Final Verdict

When it comes to wonderfully bizarre and kinky sexual wellness products, these are high on my list. Sure, there are others that also offer an intensely unique experience, but because of the designs used they’re unfortunately little less ‘mainstream’ and far more ‘shock and awe’ inspiring (dragon snatch stroker or cyclops dildo? You decide).

In my opinion, Fleshlight has managed to jump that hurdle by creating something that’s a little twisted, but very popular with a larger group of people, and therefor much more accepted as a viable option when seeking sexual satisfaction w/ the undead. So, if you’re looking for a well made product that fulfills your vampire fantasies and potentially allows you to explore in ways you never dreamed imaginable, I’d highly suggest checking out the Fleshlight Succu Dry or Count Cockula male masturbators. Who knows, that bite just might surprise you.

Product Review: Ashton Moore Pocket Pussy

Ever since I got a Fleshlight (for my partner) I’ve become a snob when it comes to male masturbators. No matter how hard I try, I always find myself doing a comparison with the expectation and assumption that the almighty Fleshlight will rise victorious against the competition.

It doesn’t help that so many fake vaginas seem to run a distant fourth or fifth to the realism (both in feel and appearance), level of discretion, and quality the Fleshlight line of products have to offer.

Having said that, I do think the porn star moulded Pocket Pussies created by Doc Johnson (sent to me by the folks at SexToy.com) come in at a very close third, especially for those of you on a tight budget.

The Good

The first thing that impressed me was the appearance; not only does Ashtons Pocket Pussy feel relatively real, being soft to the touch and very much like skin, it’s also a close enough replica that I don’t feel any need to complain.

On top of the realistic appearance, I love that the user can adjust the level of stimulation and tightness simply by squeezing their hand (something the Fleshlight can’t do). The grooves on the outside make this task exceptionally easy, not to mention make it very comfortable to hold.

In regard to size the product measures 5.5 inches in total length and 1.5 inches in width. With that in mind, if you’re penis is longer than 5.5 inches you might want to consider something else as you will most likely find that your head pops out of the opening in the end. If however you are 5.5 inches or under, Ashton should be a perfect fit!

I’m not sure if they were going for this but when looking at the hole in the opposite end, it seems it could easily be used as an anus.

For those of you that like the feeling of warmth the pocket pussies retain heat nicely; simply place them in warm water (not boiling) for up to one minute, then remove from the water and enjoy!

Testers Experience

As I’m sure most of you are all well aware, I sadly (for me) do not have a penis and therefor cannot enjoy or review these products the way I’d like. Fortunately I have many male friends that are more than willing to lend a hand, or erect penis, making these reviews a possibility:

*name has been omitted to respect privacy

Me: “So what do you think” *placing product in his hand*

Him: “Did you seriously just put a Pocket Pussy in my hand?” *laughing*

Me: “Sure did, so what do you think?”

Him: “Well, I’ll admit it’s interesting. It’s lighter than I thought it would be, feels squishy, doesn’t stink like those rubber toys and looks kinda real”

Me: “Does it look cheap?”

Him: “No, not really. Though it is much smaller than my Fleshlight which might be a good thing.”

Me: “If you saw it in a sex shop would you buy it?”

Him: “Probably not, I haven’t heard much about it and I don’t know how good it would be. Although, for under $15.00 it seems like a good deal.”

Me: “Well, if I give it to you will you promise to show it a good time?”

Him: “Give me a week…”

A week later…

Me: “So what did you think of Ashton?”

Him: “Okay, I have to say I was rather pleasantly surprised!”

Me: “Why?”

Him: “Well, first of all, it actually felt good. Not exactly like a real girl would feel, but it was close enough that I didn’t need to force myself to imagine it was something else.  It’s really easy to use and it was really comfortable to hold onto. I love my Fleshlight but sometimes it’s a little tiresome, this wasn’t at all awkward or bulky. I also really liked that I could adjust how tight or loose it was. So many products they make these days are either way too small (tight) or make you feel like your f*cking a hole in the wall. This, for me anyways, was a nice change.”

Me: “Anything you didn’t like?”

Him: “I couldn’t put myself all the way in or the tip (of his penis) would pop out the other end. But that’s basically it”

Me: “How was cleaning it?”

Him: “A little messy, but a lot easier than cleaning my Fleshlight and there weren’t any other parts to worry about so it was pretty simple”

Me: “Would you suggest it to other dudes?”

Him: “Sure would! I think this would be good for most guys because it’s cheap, easy to use, feels close enough to the real thing and holds up to quite a beating”

There you have it folks, an honest review from a dude that actually used the product. Although I will admit, I’m still sad I couldn’t try it myself.

Cleaning & Care

Since they are made of  body safe, hypoallergenic, non-toxic and phthalate free UR3 material I would only suggest a good water based lube as a silicone or oil based one will totally ruin them.

Keep in mind that because they are made of UR3 they are very porous and will absorb bodily fluids, lube and bacteria. To help keep them in good condition I suggest wearing a condom when you use them (though you don’t have to) which will limit the amount of fluids/bacteria that they come into contact with.

In regard to cleaning, I suggest you wash them well with either a gentle anti-bacterial soap (making sure to rinse them well) or use a good toy cleaner that will kill any bacteria without also ruining the product.

*Side note: You’ll probably notice that when you get your Ashton Moore pocket pussy it will be covered in a powdery substance; this is to help keep the surface from getting sticky and/or tacky. To maintain the outer texture and appearance just dust it with either Renew powder or Cornstarch. To do this simply put some on your clean hand and pat all over the masturbator.  Once it’s evenly coated (not too heavily) wrap it in the plastic bag it came in and store it in a cool, dark place for next time.

*DO NOT dust the product with Talc or Baby Powder, both can possibly cause irritation and/or may not do much to maintain the products feel or appearance.

The Bad

One of my main complaints is the packaging. Sure it’s meant for guys and therefore would follow in the footsteps of other male sex products, having an image of the person/product on the box to help bring a level of excitement, arousal and/or desire, however it’s not the most discreet and for some people that’s a big deal.

Since it’s made of UR3 it’s porous which means it requires a bit more attention than other sex toys when it comes to cleaning and maintenance. On that note, if not dusted with Cornstarch or Renew powder (pictured right) after each use it will get sticky and tacky.

Speaking of being sticky, if not treated properly it will become a lint, cat hair, fluff and dust collector in no time. My suggestion, spend the money on the Renew powder and save yourself the headache.

As for whether or not it’s an exact replica of Ashtons va-jay-jay, I really have no clue. I compared it with a picture of her here (NSFW) and it looks pretty close so I’m not going to trash on it. That in mind, I know that Fleshlight uses actual moulds of the girls vaginas to make their products which is why they are so realistic.  Check out this video of Teagan Presleys mould being made.

Final Verdict

Sure, they aren’t as high in quality, nor as discreet as the ones Fleshlight make, but they do stretch rather nicely to accommodate different size penises, retain heat, are made of body safe material, feel and look pretty real, are very affordable, and are easy to clean and should last for a quite while.

Taking all of that into consideration, I just can’t help but think they are a great option for those on a budget or anyone looking to try something new.

Product Review: Tantus Stroker XL

Sex Ed 102 Product Review: Tantus Stroker XL

Update: This product has been discontinued

Next up in my list of male reviews is the Tantus Stroker XL, a non toxic, phthalate and latex free, hygienic, hypoallergenic, waterproof, and easy to care for male masturbation sleeve that’s made of ultra premium silicone.

For those of you not familiar with the company, Tantus is the manufacturer of such fantastic and forward thinking products like the some of the best, not to mention extremely safe, anal toys like the Little Flirt (I suggest it for all beginners) and Small Ripple (beginner to moderate). Finally, if you’re looking for extremely high quality silicone dildos that are body safe, can be used vaginally or anally, are easy to use with some having the option of offering a vibration (by way of an insertable bullet) you don’t need to look any further – no matter what you’re looking for Tantus most likely makes it!

It’s because of the above benefits and features the company is known for that I was very excited to receive the Stroker XL, having both high standards for it and a preconceived notion of what to expect.

Fortunately I wasn’t disappointed – or should I say my “tester” wasn’t disappointed!

Packaging

Like all of the products Tantus makes the packaging is professional, discreet, straight forward and highly informative. There are no naked individuals, pictures of genitals or “inappropriate” language. While it does say “dramatically enhance male masturbation” and “designed to simulate contractions” the writing is in an italic handwritten font making it something your eye doesn’t necessarily notice or drift to. Regardless of that, considering that the inside display is removable and something you could easily throw out it’s not that big of a deal.

I suggest saving the plastic case for storing your Stroker when not in use.

The Good

As for the actual product, it’s slightly rigid while maintaining some flexibility, supple, squishy, rather thick, externally soft, and odourless. There’s also a bit of weight to it and comes in an almost transparent white colour.

Internally there are 9 (3 sets of 3) soft and flexible ridges that protrude from the product, all designed to mimic a contraction of the vaginal or anal muscles during intercourse.

In regard to measurements the sleeve is 5″ in length by 2″ in width and has an internal tunnel (hole?) measuring about an inch. That said, if your dick measures 5 inches or under I would suggest the original Stroker which measures 4.5″ in length and 1.5″ in width. If you’re larger than that I would suggest the Stroker XL.

Also, don’t think that because of its shape and size you have to fully insert your penis, just insert what’s comfortable and works for you.

While I don’t think there is much explanation needed when it comes to using the product I’ll lay out the instructions just so no one gets confused: apply a thick coating of your favorite water-based lube, insert your erect penis and begin stroking. That’s it, it’s really that simple.

For those of you that want to get a bit more out of the experience I suggest that while stroking you adjust the tension of your grip from a light squeeze to a firm grasp, an action that will cause the internal ridges to tighten and release simulating an orgasmic contraction around your dick.

Experience

Since I don’t have a penis, I’m not able to try the product myself (again with the penis envy), so I got one of my trusted “testers” to give it a go for me and tell me what he thought, this was his response:

When I asked what the thought of the product: “At first it was a little rigid and hard but I stretched it, even though you said not to, and it got a little more flexible. I know I’m no expert, but to me it seems like it’s not really enough to accommodate guys with bigger than average sized dicks (meaning girth). It’s very sturdy and resilient so no matter how rough I was I never worried about ripping or tearing it. You’ve given me stuff before and I’ve been afraid of ruining it, I didn’t think twice with this. Using it is a little different as well, the ridges are interesting, they don’t necessarily hurt but they did pulled on my foreskin a bit which made me nervous. I liked that I had control over the tension or tightness to a certain degree, when I squeezed hard it was tighter and when I let it go it kinda felt like a contraction, maybe, I’m still not sure about that claim but I will say it felt good. Clean up was very easy since I just washed it with soap and water.”

When I asked if there were any tips or pointers he’d suggest: “Yes, use lots of lube because if you don’t it can start to pull. Use it really gently at first just so your body can get used to the sensation and you can get a feel for whether or not you really need to tighten your grip and get yourself good and hard first, if you try to stick it in (your dick) before your hard it just feels weird *laughing*. This last suggestion might defeat the purpose of the tightness but I’d personally suggest stretching it out a few times with your hands before using it to jerk off”

*he meant stretching it to be wider, not necessarily longer.

When I asked if he’d recommend it: “Well, you could leave it lying around and not be too worried if someone found it. After all it doesn’t look like a butt hole or a vag. It’s sturdy and built to last. It doesn’t have a smell to it like other toys on the market. It’s very easy to use and with the exception of the pulling it did feel good. I guess I’d say yes, but I’d warn guys with a foreskin before hand that they need to use lots of lube and be gentle until they know what they’re doing”

Sounds reasonable enough to me.

Care & Cleaning

Since the it’s is made of silicone (and premium silicone at that) I would only suggest a good water based lube, if you use a silicone lube you run the risk of having it break down over time which would ruin it.  Yes I know I sound like a broken record on the lube front, but I’d rather make sure you’re all informed than have you use something you shouldn’t simply because I neglected to tell you.

As for cleaning nothing could be simpler, especially considering all the options available: you can bleach it, boil it, put it in the dishwasher, wash it with anti bacterial soap and rinse it well or simply spray it with toy cleaner.

*I would only suggest boiling products that are 100% silicone, not a mix of silicone and another substance as that would most likely ruin (melt or deform) them. To my knowledge there are only a few companies making products that can be boiled for complete sterilization and Tantus is one of them.

The Bad

Since I wasn’t able to try the product myself I asked my “tester’ what he thought, this was his response:

“It pulled on my foreskin and wasn’t as soft as I would have imagined. I liked that it was kinda rigid, but I would have preferred it be a little more soft and squishy. I know it might sound stupid but when I jerk off with something other than my hand I like for it to feel as close to the real thing as possible – pussies are usually soft, wet, cushy and have some give to them, this didn’t really feel that way. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, just not what I expected. Sure the lube helped with the wetness but the rest I didn’t have much control over.”

As for my own personal dislikes regarding the product, it tends to collect lint, fluffy, string, dust, hair and anything else that it might come into contact with. On that note, I’d suggest you keep the plastic container it comes in (just throw out the paper insert) to ensure that you don’t have to wash it every time you want to use it.

Final Verdict

Considering the product is easy to use, hypo allergenic, hygienic, body safe, easy to care for and clean, made of premium grade silicone, built to last and very discreet I would definitely suggest it as something new for my male readers/viewers to try.

On that note, if you’re circumcised you should have a pretty good experience with it. However if your not, I would still suggest it, just make sure to use lots of lube, go gentle and be aware of the sensations at all times to ensure that you don’t hurt yourself by accident.

If you want more info on the product or to make a purchase of any of the fantastic products Tantus makes I suggest you either check out my website or the Tantus website where shopping is discreet, easy and affordable.

Product Review: The Stamina Training Unit ( STU) by Fleshlight

If you read follow my product reviews you’re probably quite familiar with my love of the Fleshlight.  For those of you that don’t know about my lust, well, all I can say is it may just be the one and only product that gives me #penisenvy on a regular basis. I’d almost say daily.

Not only is the product well made, easy to use, soft, supple, discreet and realistic looking, it’s also probably the closest you’re going to get to the ‘real thing’ when it comes to fake vagina’s. Seriously! It’s amazing!

As for this review, I’m going to be covering the Stamina Training Unit, a product created by Fleshlight that’s designed to help you learn to last longer in bed, and more then that; help you become a better lover. Judging by my ‘testers’ experiences, it really will help.

How It Works

When I first saw the STU I thought it was a joke, I mean, how could a product help you to learn to last longer? It just sounded so absurd. However, after receiving and reading the manual the product came with, I totally got it…

Hidden within the 10 pages of the STU Manual (FREE with a purchase of the STU) are tiny gems of wisdom that most people should know, regardless of gender. From methods of stimulating the clitoris, performing oral sex on a vagina, finding the g-spot (I’ll admit, the part about the g-spot is kinda cheesy with its pirate references), learning how to get to the brink of orgasm and back again, all without actually orgasming, this manual is definitely the selling point of this “unit”.

On that note, I’m sure most of you are hoping that I’m going to give out the hints and tips suggested within the manual, unfortunately I’m not allowed, or I probably would. That said, what I can offer (that’s throughout the manual) is something that should be common sense when it comes to being good at any sexual technique – practice makes perfect!

To help you practice the manual has a few key things to offer;

“Mastering the art of ‘Brinkmanship'”: (as explained above) – 4 methods with steps to follow.

“Short Circuits”: the ultimate emergency safeguards against any ejaculation before you’re ready. (We tried it, it worked…very interesting!)

“Routines”: 3 different stroke patterns to help you learn to last longer. (My partner and I tested them and yes, they do work)

“Goals”: benchmarks to set for yourself while using the STU as a way of measuring how you’re progressing – 4 in total. (I think they may get rather tedious and possibly boring, but if you’re learning to last longer they’re worth a go and will definitely help)

“Five Essentials”: 5 essentials to remember when performing under pressure. (Rather simple common sense stuff, but helpful none the less – especially for those of you that are still learning)

Sure the Fleshlight itself is a badass find, but it comes down to following the guidelines set out in the manual that will help you to last longer, not the actual product.

The Good

The sleeve (the part you have sex with) is crafted from the same patented Real Feel Super Skin® as all the others within the Fleshlight collection. However, what sets it apart is the specifically designed “inner canal” texture; rows of small bumps that are soft, supple, comfortable and very accommodating. It also comes with a metallic gold case rather than the typically found black ones. I’m guessing it was supposed to be a clever reference to “going for the gold”? )

For those of you that aren’t familiar with the Fleshlight line of products, I previously did a review that outlined all of the necessary care, cleaning, uses and suggestions for ways the product could be used. If you’d like to view it this link should take you there. Otherwise, here’s the basics

  • the product measures 10 inches in length and is 4 inches around at its largest, so it should be a comfortable size for most
  • if you’d like to alter the sensation, the Fleshlight can be placed in warm water until it reaches the desired temperature (DO NOT boil or microwave it!)
  • to further adjust the sensation, you can unscrew the bottom cap until the desired level of suction is reached
  • finally, while there is no need to use a condom with the Fleshlight (as long as you do NOT share your Fleshlight!), doing so will not harm the product or yourself.

Care & Cleaning

When it comes to lubes I would only suggest a good water based one as a silicone or oil based product will ruin it. Trust me on this!

To clean it simply remove the insert from the case and rinse it very well with lukewarm water; the product is porous so you will want to make sure there is no “residue” left behind. Once it’s clean either let it air dry or pat it with a lint free cloth (NEVER rub it or you will ruin the texture and appearance). Once it’s dry shake some corn starch or Fleshlight Renew Powder and pat it gently; this will help to keep it soft and supple, rather then allow it to get sticky or tacky with use.

*If you do notice that it’s gotten gummy, sticky or tacky don’t worry, it’s not defective. The material the product is made of tends to do that over time (as do most other UR3, Cyberskin and similar materials). If you want to keep it soft and supple just use the corn starch or Renew powder.

stuThe Bad

In regard to the actual Fleshlight, I love it and have nothing bad to say about it!

As for the manual…

While it is for the most part relevant, honest, interesting, resourceful and straight forward, there are parts of the manual that are cheesy, slightly unnecessary (like the statement “No not the vehicle, that’s what you use to get her in bed”) and just didn’t hit the “funny” level they were hoping for, instead coming across as insincere.

I get where they were coming from and what they were trying to achieve, however, as someone who takes sex ed (and sex toys) seriously, I just would have liked to have seen a little bit more of a healthy respect for sex and sexuality.

Had they removed the vehicle comment, and taken finding the g-spot a bit more seriously, rather then using a pirate who uses words like “Ahoy matey“, “Shiver Me Timbers“, “find her love cave” and “Scallywag” (really?, really??? ) to describe the experience, I would have been much more impressed with no complaints.

Final Verdict

Like all of the other products that Fleshlight makes I actually do love the STU!

Sure the manual has a few sections (really only 2 – “G Marks the Spot” and “The Hummer”) I wasn’t that fond of but to be honest, the rest was more then I expected. That in mind, if you’re someone who doesn’t last very long in bed, would like to practice with something that’s as close to the ‘real thing’ as you’re going to get, while also having a few pointers, suggestions, goals or tips to help guide you, the Stamina Training Unit by Fleshlight is pretty much the whole package.

Product Review: TitanMen Tool Box

Thanks to the wonderful folks at SexToy.com I was sent one of the better, more affordable, and definitely interesting male masturbation products on the market, the TitanMen Tool Box.

Packaging

With the exception of the words “UR3 Masturbator” written on the front  and “It’s the perfect size for working your cock” written on the side, the packaging is rather simple and respectful; a plain blue box with white writing and an image of the product on the cover (which resembles something you’d use for plumbing more then you would sex). There is no nudity, swearing or any of those other things that are typically found on less discreetly packaged items.

Not sure what I’m talking about? Here’s a few good examples. *Caution Not safe for work!

The Good

In regard to the actual product it’s extremely discreet, resembling a squishy tube more then a vagina, anus or mouth. A definite bonus when it comes to the fears of what might happen should someone find it.

Because it’s made of  Doc Johnsons realistic feeling UR3 material it’s extremely soft, supple, slightly stretchy and rather squishy. The coloring is a matte opaque white (almost transparent) with 3 ridges on the outside for better gripping. Internally, there are ridges as well but they are less pronounced, allowing you to feel them, but not too much.

On the note of the UR3 material, DocJohnson has created their own “Silagel” formula that makes the Tool Box hypo allergenic, anti-bacterial, non-toxic, latex free, cadmium free and phthalate free, basically, it’s totally body safe.

The Tool Box measures 4″ in total length and 7″ around; while it is rather short compared to other masturbators like the Fleshlight, it’s still long enough to insert yourself and use it where it feels most pleasurable, whether it be the head of the penis, middle of the shaft or base of the shaft. With this product it really is about whatever you prefer.

Now I’m sure a lot of you are asking how it is that I could know what it feels like or if it’s good, especially considering I don’t have a penis of my own… well, that doesn’t mean I don’t have someone (actually a few someones)  I trust to test toys for me and give me their honest feedback. In regard to the TitanMen Tool Box, this is what I was given as insight to the toy;

What does it feel like?

Tester: “It very soft and squishy, almost like having sex with a marshmellow. But not in that weird “I’m f*cking a marshmellow” way. Yes I know how stupid that sounds, but that’s what it feels like. ”

Does it feel good?

Tester: “Yeah, actually really good. It’s a little foreign but it’s still good. I was actually very surprised”

Does it feel real?

Tester: “No, not at all, well maybe a little, but that doesn’t really matter since it feels good.”

Did it hurt?

Tester: “Nope, I actually thought it would but it didn’t. I’ll be honest, sometimes you give me products and their cheap, and you can tell their cheap, so I don’t want to use them or even try them. This one I was a little nervous about ’cause I thought it might hurt, but it didn’t. I was totally surprised”

Would you use it on your own, like regularly?

Tester: “I’d rather have sex with a real woman then have sex with a toy all the time, but yeah, when it called for it I’d use it. It sure beats the old fist bang”

Was it comfortable and was the size enough?

Tester: “It was very comfortable, how could sex with a marshmellow not be comfortable? As for the size, sure it could have been a bit longer, but it was fine”

Would you recommend this to others?

Tester: “Oh hell yeah! It’s affordable, easy to use, it feels good and doesn’t look like a vag. Sure I’ve tried better things like the Fleshlight, but this is really good for what it is”

Is there anything you would change about it?

Tester: “Nope, it’s everything a product like this should be, but without all the bells and whistles. Sure you can get stuff with beads or bumps or ridges or whatever else they make, but really, that’s all just an added bonus, you don’t really need it”.

Anything else you want to say about it?

Tester: “Well, I think a lot of people forget what these are meant to be used for and put way too much pressure or expectations on toys. The way I see it, they’re just meant to add to your experience, and maybe enhance it, not be the end all and be all of sex machines. Would I suggest it to others? yes. Would I say buy this and your sex life is complete? no, of course not but it sure does feel good!”

Like I said, I may not have a penis, but I do have those that are willing to relay their experiences for me, which I can then relay to you.

As for ways it can be used, it’s rather simple; lube the product (and yourself) up, insert and stroke away! On that note, for those of you that are uncircumcised I suggest you stretch the product a bit (almost like your folding it up) then insert yourself and allow the product to surround your shaft. I suggest this because if you just try to insert yourself without giving yourself some “wiggle room”, you may actually pull back the foreskin too far and end up hurting yourself as the entrance is rather small at only 1 1/2 inches.

Care & Cleaning

In regard to lubricant I would only suggest a good water based lube as silicone or petroleum based products will damage this material. On that note, while it says that it’s anti-bacterial, I’m not too sure how porous it is so I’d also recommend using a condom with it, as it might easily absorb germs and bacteria.

When it comes to cleaning I would suggest using warm water and soap, rinsing it well and letting it air dry or patting it down with a lint free cloth.  I say lint free cloth because I found the material had a tendency to collect lint, hair or other tiny bits of fluff, it’s not a big deal, but it’ll just keep your product in better condition and looking like new. If you have an anti bacterial toy cleaner you can use that as well. Whether you use a toy cleaner or soap and water I highly suggest that once the product is dry you sprinkle it with a renewing powder (it’s really cheap, but definitely worth it) or you can use cornstarch.

*Never use talcum powder or baby powder as these can cause irritation to both the product and your skin.

The Bad

As for things I didn’t like about the product, there were none. As for things my tester didn’t like about the product, again, there were none.

*I gotta admit how much I love products that are affordable and do exactly what they say they do. It sure makes my job easy.

Final Verdict

Overall, the TitanMen Tool Box male masturbator feels like a solid go-to toy for when you want something straightforward yet highly pleasurable. It’s easy to use, fun to experiment with, and has a texture that keeps things exciting without being over the top. Plus, its durable material means you don’t have to worry about it wearing out anytime soon. Whether it’s a quick session or a longer, more indulgent experience, this masturbator has your back (or more accurately, your front). It’s the kind of toy that you’ll keep reaching for because it just works.
