Sex Ed 102 Q&A: Strap-On Advice

Question

Hi Kara_Sutra

I’ve been going out with my girlfriend for about six months now and I’d really like to try some new things with her. I’m really into strap on/domination sex but I don’t know how to ask her about it or even how to introduce her to it. I’ve tried a few times to ask, but whenever I do I get really nervous and can’t go through with it. I’m not even sure I should ask her, because if she’s not into it, it would pretty much end the relationship, and be very awkward and embarrassing for a guy like me.

I hope you can help!

Answer

First off thanks for watching and supporting what I do!!

As for the question, there’s nothing wrong with strap-on or domination play and you are completely normal. In a world where exploring your sexual fantasies is becoming more mainstream, so too are new forms of sexual expression and experimentation.

That being said, bringing up the subject of anything sexually taboo with a partner can be challenging. It’s been my experience that when a person wants to try something new the best way to go about it is to ask questions and test the waters, start small and work up from there.

I’m sure the thought of asking her if she’s “ever done a guy up the butt?” is a bit too blunt and point blank for most people, so my suggestions to gain the info you need are these;

Find Common Ground

Find common areas where that type of play has been found in mainstream media and apply it to your situation. For instance, bondage and domination have been found in comic books, video games, movies, and TV; think of the female crusader in her tight leather outfit tying up bad guys and forcing their surrender.

To start the convo you might want to begin by saying something like “I’ve always thought women in stances of power like Cat Woman/Electra/Silk Spectre/Laura Croft etc were hot…

By relating it to something mainstream you remove the “weird” or “pervert” factor and create a general area for discussion that’s open ended and comfortable for both parties to explore.

Another reason that I suggest relating it to mainstream media and female hero’s/vixens is that as a female, playing dress up in boots, garters, masks and taking on a state of dominance can be a very empowering experience, one that leaves her feeling more secure in her femininity, comfortable in her own skin, powerful, and confident as well as safer with you.

Side note: If you want really cool harnesses that are perfect for costume play, and pretty badass if I do say so myself, click this link and head over to SheVibe. There’s so many to choose from, all with exceptional detailing. These is the kind of things cosplayers dream of!

Open The Floor For Discussion: Question Time

Once you’ve brought up the subject, spent some time talking and can see she’s still comfortable, you might want to start relating it to sex by asking some questions that open the floor for discussion and wont leave her thinking your a perv (I hate using that word, but it’s something I hear from my readers all the time).

Some questions you might want to ask her are:

has she heard of bondage or domination before as it relates to sex?
what are her thoughts on it?
has she ever engaged in it?
would she be interested?

The answers you get to these questions will give you a pretty good idea of if she’s interested and how far she is willing to go.

Help Her Learn & Be Supportive

Over the last 7 years of giving sex advice I’ve had a lot of women confide that they don’t feel comfortable with pegging for two main reasons; they’re scared they’ll hurt their partner, or worse off (to them anyways), look like an idiot because they don’t know what they’re doing.

It’s no surprise that when it comes to inserting something in their partner (whether vaginally or anally), most women are at a loss… after all, they don’t have penises and haven’t grown up putting their dick in something, be it their hand, a mouth, masturbator, or otherwise. As such, they don’t know how to gauge things like how deep they’re going, how much is too much, when to stop, or how to thrust. Understandably, this can leave them feeling exposed, unsure, incompetent, overwhelmed, and confused.

The best thing I can suggest is to help ease any worries or fears by encouraging her, let her know you understand what she’s feeling/going through, and offer to go slow and let her learn. Maybe she starts by giving you a bj while fingering you anally. Perhaps you have her insert something small and guide her along the way. Maybe you both read up on the subject (Adventurous Couples Guide to Strap-On Sex and Ultimate Guide To Anal Sex For Men are both excellent options), or watch an educational video, if so, I’d highly suggest watching Tristan Taorominos Guide To Pegging. Regardless of what you choose to do, this is an opportunity for you to teach her and be supportive. The more encouraged and accomplished she feels, the more willing she’ll be to take it to the next step.

Relax and Have Fun

Assuming that she is into it and wants to play, I suggest you begin with something simple and fun like furry handcuffs, a blindfold, a bottle of good lube, and a smaller anal toy. Let her cuff you to the bed, chair, door etc, blind fold you and have her way with you. When she feels more comfortable you can move onto things like tying with scarves ( I didn’t suggest this first because knots can be dangerous) ball gags, whips, paddles, playing dress up and more. For more advice in regard to Domination and the world of BDSM you might want to watch my video Spankings & Safe Words.

As for getting involved with Strap On play, my suggestion is to start with the domination and mild anal play for now (butt plugs, graduating to larger sizes over time). Allow her to learn, feel comfortable, confident, and safe in that kind of environment and eventually (in the same way as suggested above) see if she is interested in prostate stimulation.

Be Patient & Give It Some Time

If she’s not interested leave it alone for a little while. I say this because if a subject matter is continually brought up, it can cause the other person to feel like they’re being forced or pushed into it, leaving them defensive and even more uninterested. Once a month or so has passed, mention it again with very careful hinting.

Although I do understand your fear and nervousness, I hope that you’ll eventually get up the courage to ask her since it is something you are interested in – and in a relationship, both partners needs should be met.

Hopefully that helped in some way.

Review: Flavored Body Paint

Thanks to the folks at Pipedreams I was recently sent a package that included 5 different Body Paints; ,Chocolate Fantasy Finger Paint, Fruity Edible Finger Paints, Glow-In-The-Dark Body Finger Paints and redone versions of the last two.

*For this review I’ll be covering the flavored versions of the paints, with a review of the Glow-In-The-Dark Body Finger Paints to follow shortly after.

While I had low expectations of the products, I can’t help but admit that they did impress me. All of the above glided on rather smoothly, with the texture being more like a whipped paint (that was thick rather then watery), and surprisingly tasted decent- in fact, some of them actually tasted really good!

As for the packaging; it’s fun, colorful, playful and while “adult” in nature (as per the word  “ADULT” written on the front) it’s definitely not embarrassing, highly “offensive” or “unprofessional”.

*For those of you wondering what I mean, they could have very easily plastered the box with naked women or men covered in paint, or some other typically seen image of someone licking paint off an ass cheek, breast or other body part, yet they didn’t. Something I appreciated, especially for those that are easily embarrassed or shy when it comes to “sex” stuff. 😉

Each package I was sent had 4 pots of .5oz paint; enough to play with for two people, but not enough to overdose on (you know, that feeling you get from too much sugar) or get sick from.  The pots were packaged neatly within a cardboard holder to separate them and were all sealed for the consumers safety, and I would assume a longer shelf life.

In regard to the flavors/colors of the (fruity) Body Finger Paints, here’s what I thought;

Cherry – a bright, candy apple red paint that smelled like the tastiest cherry Chapstick I’ve ever dreamed of. While it smelled a tiny bit like paint (they are body paints after all), the taste was very candy like and surprisingly didn’t leave a yucky after taste. As for the actual painting, it went on thin and didn’t offer a lot of coverage – it might have been due to the fact that I kept licking it off before I was finished painting. Grade = A+

Blueberry – a bright blue, almost neon, raspberry/blueberry scented paint. As for the taste, it reminded me of the blueberry snow cones I used to love. Again it had a slight paint smell, but it wasn’t overpowering or awful. As for an after taste, again there wasn’t one. The paint went on thick and offered good coverage of the skin, slightly thinning out if continually rubbed. Grade = B+

Strawberry – a light candy floss pink (very pretty!) that smelled nothing of Strawberries, but instead more like a sweet candy you can’t quite put your finger on. The taste was very good, and quite similar to Bubblicious Strawberry Gum; nothing like paint and no after taste. The coverage was good, but thinned out rather quickly. Grade = B

Apple – a dark emerald green, that unfortunately didn’t smell much like apples.  This was the one that seemed to smell the most like paint, yet surprisingly tasted the best – like the Bazooka Apple bubble gum I used to chew as a kid.  This one also gave the best coverage of skin and didn’t thin out very quickly. Grade = B+

Ingredients: Deionized Water, Glycerine (since it’s not meant to be used as a lubricant this is okay as an ingredient), Sorbitol, Glyceryl Stearate, Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Soy Bean Oil, Methylparaben, Triethanlamine, Artificial Flavors, F.D. & C. Yellow #5, F.D. & C. Red #40, F.D. & C. Yellow #6, F.D. & C. #1

As for the Chocolate Fantasy Body Finger Paints, here’s what I thought;

Chocolate Raspberry – a fun, fuchsia colored body paint that smells absolutely divine! The taste isn’t quite what I would imagine (nothing like raspberries, though the scent is) as it tastes more like the jelly you’d find inside a doughnut, than a chocolate raspberry. The color goes on nicely (it’s slightly thick) and manages to last for a while, only disappearing after a bit of rubbing. Again, there’s no horrible after taste though it does leave your skin nicely scented. *If I could, I’d wear it as a lip gloss. Grade = A

Café Mocha – this light brown paint smelled exactly like what I expected; a sweet chocolate that’s thick (like a scent that lingers even after it’s gone) with hints of mocha and slight caramel. The color went on nicely and once again lasted longer then the fruity versions, disappearing only after a bit of rubbing. As for the taste, it was quite yummy, so much so that I debated putting it on some vanilla ice cream (in a late night fit of “I NEED CHOCOLATE!!). Grade = A+

Chocolate Almond – rather then b.s. you and say it was good I’m going to be blatantly honest; at first whiff it smelled good, yet upon a further use the smell became not only nauseatingly sweet and synthetic, but also tasted so bad I had to rinse my mouth out after. I’m not sure what made it so bad, the fake almond flavor? the thickness? heavy after taste or slippery texture on my tongue? either way, I just didn’t like it. As for painting, it went on well, lasted through some rubbing and left a lingering scent that wasn’t as bad as out of the little tub. Grade = D

Chocolate Strawberry – unfortunately mine came with 2 Café Mocha’s, and no Chocolate Strawberry so I can’t review it for you 🙁

Ingredients; Water, Glycerine, Canola Oil, Starch, Flavor, Sorbitan Oleate, Polysorbate 60, Cetcaryl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate,CetylAlcohol, PEG – 100 Stearate, Methylparaben, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Propylparaben, Citric Acid.

*Pictures of our fun times will be uploaded and linked to shortly!

While they are edible, the paints are meant for EXTERNAL purposes only; basically, don’t use it as a lube as it’s not meant to be one. If you do, you might end up with a yeast infection, other infection (think Bacterial Vaginosis), or an irritation, aside from that I really don’t know if they are latex safe and with ingredients like Soy Bean Oil and Canola Oil, I don’t think they would be.

On that note, I personally don’t know anyone who’s used paints as a lubricant so I can’t tell you the effect they had, only what I would assume would happen based on the ingredients and what I read up on them.

When it comes time for cleaning (if you haven’t licked it off) they easily remove with soap and water or (if you like the scent and didn’t have an allergic reaction) slight rubbing which will make them disappear.

The Bad

If you’re someone who’s into all natural ingredients, doesn’t like the idea of putting something on you (or in you) that’s chemical in nature or are sensitive to certain substances, these might not be the product for you. While they are safe in small doses, I don’t think they are something you’d want to use on a daily basis. With that in mind, products like this are meant for once in a while use to help make things more fun, frisky, playful and kinky.

*If you’d prefer more organic products you can try stuff from around the house like: bakers chocolate (melted down and left to cool), honey, home made whipped cream (not the stuff in a can or tub), homemade jams and jellies. If those ideas don’t work for you, I suggest you check out your local health food or organics store and ask them if they have anything that could be used for safe, edible body painting.

Other then that, the paint can sometimes stain depending on where you put it (not sure why that happens – it stained my back a little, but not my leg or arm) so you might want to be careful of where you put it…i.e. don’t write the word “dick” on your partners forehead unless you want him/her going to work like that the next day. I also found they can be rather messy and depending on your senses, you might not like the smell of them.

Final Verdict

As I said before, I was actually very impressed; all of the Edible Body Paints glided on with ease, tasted good (with the exception of Chocolate Almond) and smelled fantastic! Best of all, at only $8.34 they are very, affordable.

While they aren’t “all natural” and contain some ingredients I find less then desirable, it doesn’t mean they’re something I’d skip on, especially if adding some playful, kinky and colorful fun is the intended outcome of the night…or day, or morning 😉

If you’d like to try them for yourself, or any of the Pipedreams edible products, feel free to check out my online sexual wellness store where shopping for vibrators, fun and fantastic smelling lotions, flavored lubes or any other eco-friendly sex toys is safe, discreet and very affordable.

Sex Ed 102: Great Products for Oral Play

To view the video log into YouTube
Over the last couple of years I have been continually asked about products used to enhance the experience of oral sex. As such, I decided to create a video and post specifically covering products that would be good for use, what’s not so great, including key pointers and tips to keep in mind.

What Are Oral Play Products

Oral play can be an exciting and intimate part of sexual experiences, and there are numerous products available that can enhance both pleasure and safety for all involved. Whether you’re looking to spice things up with added flavors, sensations, or want to ensure protection during oral activities, understanding the available options can help you choose the right products for your needs. Here’s an informative guide to some of the best products designed for oral play.

Available Options

Flavoured Lubes: Flavored lubricants are a popular addition to oral play, adding a delicious twist to the experience. These lubricants come in a wide variety of flavors, ranging from fruity options like cherry or watermelon to dessert-like flavors such as vanilla or chocolate. Flavoured lubes not only taste great but also help reduce friction and discomfort, enhancing the overall sensation for both partners. It’s important to select high-quality, body-safe flavored lubricants that are specifically designed for oral use to ensure a safe and pleasurable experience.

Flavoured Condoms: Flavored condoms are an excellent way to make oral sex more enjoyable while prioritizing protection. These condoms are coated with flavors like strawberry, chocolate, mint, and more, making the experience both safer and potentially more pleasant. Using a flavoured condom helps reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) when performing oral sex on a partner with a penis. The flavor masks the taste of latex, and the condoms themselves offer the same protective benefits as regular condoms, ensuring safety without compromising pleasure.

Dental Dams: Dental dams are thin sheets of latex or polyurethane that act as a protective barrier during oral-vaginal or oral-anal play. They help reduce the risk of transmitting STIs, making oral sex safer while maintaining the sensation of skin-to-skin contact. Dental dams are available in flavoured varieties, making them more appealing for oral play. When using a dental dam, apply a water-based lubricant on both sides to improve sensation and ensure it stays in place.

Oral Sex Gels, Sprays, & Candies: Oral sex gels, sprays, and candies are designed to heighten sensations during oral play by adding unique effects such as cooling, warming, or tingling sensations. These products can be applied directly to erogenous zones or used in the mouth to create a stimulating experience for both partners. Available in a variety of flavors, they add an exciting dimension to oral activities while enhancing pleasure. Always opt for body-safe formulas that are made for oral use to avoid irritation or discomfort.

Vibrating Toys for Oral Play: For those looking to explore beyond traditional methods, vibrating toys like tongue vibrators (pictured right) can enhance oral play by providing extra stimulation. These toys are designed to fit on or around the tongue, adding vibrations that intensify the sensations for both the giver and receiver. They’re perfect for exploring different erogenous zones or adding variety to your oral repertoire. Many are waterproof, making them easy to use and clean after intimate sessions.

Tips & Suggestions For A Great Experience

When using products designed for oral play, it’s essential to prioritize safety and comfort to ensure an enjoyable experience for both partners. First and foremost, always select body-safe products specifically made for oral use. Flavoured lubricants, condoms, and gels should be free of harmful chemicals or ingredients that could cause irritation or allergic reactions. Look for products that are labelled as non-toxic, paraben-free, and glycerine-free, particularly for those with sensitive skin or prone to yeast infections.

While we’re on the topic of glycerine; when exposed to air, glycerine-based lubricants tend to oxidize and break down quickly, which can lead to a sticky or thick and tacky texture that requires frequent reapplication in order to remain slippery. This stickiness can reduce comfort and enjoyment during intimate activities, as it interrupts the flow. Moreover, it may even cause irritation for some users. Frequent reapplication also means you go through the product quickly and have to buy more. While this benefits manufacturers financially, it doesn’t translate into a positive experience for you or I.

Another important consideration is communication with your partner. Before introducing new products, discuss comfort levels and any potential sensitivities or allergies. For example, certain flavors or ingredients may not be suitable for everyone, so it’s crucial to check the product label and conduct a patch test if needed. It’s also a good idea to experiment with smaller amounts of flavoured lubricants or oral gels initially, allowing both partners to assess their comfort before fully engaging in play. Open communication also helps in aligning expectations, ensuring that both partners feel safe and excited to explore.

Lastly, proper usage and hygiene are critical when using oral play products. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for application and cleaning, particularly with toys or reusable items like dental dams and vibrating stimulators. Ensure that toys and barriers are cleaned thoroughly after each use to prevent bacterial growth or infection. Also, avoid using oil-based lubricants with latex products like flavoured condoms or dental dams, as oils can break down the material and compromise their effectiveness. By keeping these tips and cautions in mind, you can enjoy oral play with greater confidence and peace of mind, maximizing pleasure while minimizing risks.

Final Thoughts

In the end, sexual wellness is about finding what works best for you and your partner, while prioritizing safety, comfort, and pleasure. It’s important to approach oral play with curiosity, respect, and open communication, ensuring both you and your partner feel comfortable and excited to try new things. By staying open-minded and informed, you can create experiences that are not only fun but also grounded in care and mutual understanding. Ultimately, it’s about finding what works best for your unique dynamic and embracing the joy that comes with shared exploration.

Review: Pipedreams ~ Bag Of Love

For my first review as a product reviewer for SexToy.com I chose the Pipedream “Bag of Love”, I specifically chose this product because I thought it looked fun, frisky and like something I might be able to offer for the beginners or those of you looking for a great addition to a romantic evening. Initially I debated about whether or not to do a video review for the Bag Of Love, but unfortunately there was less to like then I hoped causing me to choose not to make a video.

That said, while I’m personally split between a 70% like/30% dislike, I don’t think it’s deserving of an “unapproved product” listing either, so for now it will just remain an honest and fun written review. And rather then just reviewing the Bag Of Love as an entire kit, I’m also going to review the individual products so that you’ll understand why I was torn between a good vs bad review.

Pipedreams “Bag of Love” is a fun and flirty fire engine red, heart shaped Vinyl bag packed with an assortment of goodies…some good, some bad, but all designed to help create an evening of fun and romance. Included in the bag are; a Heart Warmer Massager (I LOVE these things!), Mini-Mite Massager with 4 interchangeable caps to vary stimulation (very similar to a Pocket Rocket) , Reusable Designer Bondage Tape (great for beginners!), Satin Love Mask (felt more like plastic), Heart-Shaped Jelly Love Ring, Toy Cleaner, Green Apple Body Heat Massage Lotion (quite yummy really), Basix Mini Jelly Butt Plug, Love Beads, & Lover’s Lotto Cards.

Lets begin with the actual Pipedreams Red Bag; I have to admit, while some might find it tacky or cheesy I think it’s kind of hilariously adorable with is shiny, fire engine red, heart design. It’s big enough to pack full of goodies and comes with a bedazzled red heart lock and key to keep nosey baggage handlers out! The zipper is sturdy and the bag itself is surprisingly well made.

The only downfall is the white “Pipedream” logo plastered on both sides, then again I don’t know too many people who would know what Pipedream is. All in all, I actually quite like the Pipedreams Red Bag, I just wish it didn’t have the company logo plastered on the side.

Next up is the Heart Warmer Massager a product I am actually a huge fan of!! I previously did a review on a similar product and this one reacts in the exact same way – click the small internal metal disc and watch as the fluid crystallizes and turns to a soft, mushy, warm and comforting gel like substance.

The heart is great not only for massage, but also fantastic for cramps, back aches or taking somewhere on a very cold day. As for the heat, it lasts for about a half an hour. To reuse the Heart Warmer Massager just boil it for 10 minutes and let it cool completely, then you can start snapping all over again. I’ve had mine for just over 2 years now and it STILL works!

If there is one thing I think every woman should have it’s a rocket style vibrator. They’re small, easy to use, only require one battery, great for clitoral stimulation, are powerful even for the size and if someone was to find one they might not know what it was. That said the Mini-Mite Massager is no exception; it works just as well as any other rocket style vibe and has the same features. One added bonus is the addition of 4 end caps that can be used for a stimulating massage or to enhance any foreplay you may be engaged in. The only thing I wouldn’t suggest is using them internally, they’re not really designed for that.

I’ll be honest on this next one, the Designer Bondage Tape is a product that I’m still a little on the fence about. While it is quite adorable with its rose, heart, plain barb wire or chain link design it’s not exactly the most “bonding” and for a bondage tape that’s a bit of a let down. The tape itself isn’t sticky, a definite bonus for those of us who have had other tapes stuck to our hair or other “unmentionable” areas. Trust me, that can be quite painful ~ think of ripping a band-aid off your coochie! ouch! ~ this product on the other hand doesn’t stick to skin, hair or anything else, only itself making for some of the most comfortable bondage play possible. That said, I had to wrap it around my ankles twice to get it to “stick”. Personally I wouldn’t suggest Designer Bondage Tape to those experienced with bondage play, instead I’d suggest it to those who are new to the idea and looking to experiment with a product that isn’t scary or dangerous.

As for the Satin Love Mask there isn’t very much I can say, especially considering the one I got wasn’t made of satin. Instead I got a flimsy plastic feeling one. If it had been the actual Satin Love Mask I’m sure I would have been thrilled. That said, since it was slightly see through it was great for foreplay and to help build anticipation (all you can see is shadows) but other then that, it’s a mask. Nuff said.

When it comes to the products in the kit that I don’t like the Heart-On Luv Ring is one of them. My first issue was that it was made of a smelly, sticky, jelly material. While it doesn’t say what it’s made of, it also doesn’t say what it’s not made of and judging by feel and smell I would only assume it isn’t phthalate free. As for the ease of use it’ just a simple ring, with quite a bit of stretch, so it’s not really that hard (no pun intended) to take on or off. It’s not a really bad product, but it’s not made of a quality material and that’s where it fails for me.

If your looking for a handy, small (only 1oz), easy to travel with and easy to use (without totally stinking) Toy Cleaner this one is great! While I know there are people who debate the need for toy cleaner, if your planning on traveling the soap in the hotels can be a bit too harsh for toys and that’s when a great toy cleaner would come in very handy. It’s not sticky or tacky and doesn’t leave an oily or smelly residue on your hands or on a toy, all definite bonuses! This one get’s my vote!

I have to admit, with its yummy candy apple taste and bright green color the Body Heat Massage Lotion might just be one of my fave things in the Bag of Love. It’s quite small at only 1oz (not as big as the one pictured) so traveling with it is quite easy. I also have to admit that the warming factor ~ warming up when you blow on or rub it, was also a nice touch. It’s not at all chemical in taste and doesn’t have the same harsh after burn that some massage lotions have, which for me was a nice change. The one thing to remember with this product is that it’s a massage lotion, not a lubricant, therefor it will get sticky a bit faster and isn’t suggested for any kind of vaginal use. All in all I think the Body Heat Green Apple Massage Lotion is a product I am very glad was included.

Just like the Heart-On, the Basix Mini Jelly Butt Plug is another product that for me was a let down. While it may say that it’s “phthalate free” it smells quite horrible, much like I would expect any other jelly toy that’s filled with phthtales would. Aside from that it’s made of a very porous rubber; I personally don’t think anything that’s porous should be put in such a bacteria filled area like an anus. Although it is flexible and thin I wouldn’t exactly say it was a “mini” either, something like Tantus’ Little Flirt is much more deserving of that name.  While I can appreciate what Pipedreams is trying to do in creating affordable toys, I think they would be much better off focusing on higher end items made of body & environmentally friendly ingredients.

Unfortunately I couldn’t find a picture of the Love Beads by Pipedreams so I’m going to do my best to describe them and let you in on why I don’t think too highly of them ~ The Love Beads come with 5 hard acrylic beads strung along a thin black nylon cording tied to a hard (but flimsy) plastic hoop. Each bead is knotted in place, but with some light fiddling the knots came undone and the ball shifted ~ not something I was too keen on, especially if these are to be used anally. The last knot on the string actually came undone while I was playing with it sending the bead rolling across the floor (yay for new cat toys!), again something I don’t suggest for anal play as it could get lodged somewhere sending you to the emergency room. As for the nylon cording, it’s also something I don’t suggest for anal play as it absorbs bacteria quite easily. Lastly the plastic hoop (handle) is very flimsy and looks as if it would snap without much effort, not exactly the safest for vaginal or anal play. In my honest opinion I don’t think Pipedreams Love Beads is one of the safest products ever made, that said I’d just leave it in the packaging or give it to my cats to play with.

Last but not least we have the Lovers Lotto a fun, easy to use, cute and playful “scratch and win” game. The Bag Of Lovecame with 3 of these fun little things and I have to say they really are a great addition to a night of romance or play. On each card are the scratch options of what, where and when, with wins like “lick below the waist, in the bathtub at the stroke of midnight” as the prize. This is something that I think a beginner or advanced adult novelty enthusiast would find fun and could definitely use whether in the heat of the moment or as a fun little thing to tuck in a wallet or pocket. After a handful of not so great products I must admit, it was nice to have something like the Lover’s Lotto to round off the Bag of Love.

Final Verdict

Unfortunately when you’re looking at a product that comes as a “package deal” (meaning you save money) like the Bag Of Love you need to be able to look at it both individually (the specific items) and as a whole. That said, while there were enough products to make me a fan of the Bag Of Love, there were also enough to make me think Pipedream could have made some better choices when it came to products that should be included or left out.

Value for your money? As a complete bag you can expect to pay around $46.00. However, if you were to purchase each item separately, leaving out the Heart-Shaped Jelly Love Ring, Basix Mini Jelly Butt Plug and Love Beads, you’d pay roughly $48.50 ~ with the bigger bottle of Body Heat Massage Lotion and 9 extra Lover’s Lotto Game Cards too! ~ Personally I’d pay the extra $2.00 and shop separately then get the Bag Of Love as a complete product. You can after all pack the bag yourself…for me putting something together is always part of the fun anyways. You can buy the Bag Of Love from Sextoy.com, where you’ll find a large selection of Vibrators and other great Sex Toys.
