I’ll be honest, I’ve had a love hate relationship with Doc Johnson for years now. Considering they’ve been in the industry for what seems like eons, I expect much more, not only with the level of quality they’re putting out, but also with regards to the creativity. Maybe it’s just me, but companies should be listening to the market, watching the trends, aiming to do better, and moving ahead with the times, not sitting comfy within the status quo… if Leaf by Swan (an offshoot of BMS), Jopen (an offshoot of California Exotics, and I’m talking the Vr line, not that horrible Intensity thing) and others can do it, so can they
And then I found the Wonderland series.
Okay, I’ll admit they kinda look like a Wonderlanded version of the Toyfriend collection, which I’m not exactly impressed by, but holy shit! As a fan of Alice in Wonderland, these have me totally curious, excited, and really hoping that it’s a sign the company is branching into better territory with the products they create.

Desensitizing products are a no-no; although some may feel using numbing agents is a good idea, I suggest you don’t; not only do they limit the amount of control you have, they could be dangerous as you probably won’t feel any pain and therefor not know when you’re going too far too fast. Instead, you may want to consider an anal spray that relaxes the area rather than numbing it.
Always use a product with a flared base; this is important as it will stop the product from being pulled inside, potentially saving you a trip to the doctors office. If you’re using beads, make sure to count them after. Yes, they have popped off and been lost in people before.
Choose a good quality lube; no matter what type you choose I highly suggest the use of a thick lubricant that’s very slippery and maintains its consistency. Otherwise, you’ll likely find yourself constantly have to stop to reapply. I find silicone lubricants work best (unless you’re using a silicone product, then I’d suggest something else like a good water based lube).
No rough stuff; be sure that anything you insert is smooth and free of any jagged edges, points, or ridges, as the internal lining of the rectum/anus could be torn or scratched, potentially leading to infection.
Never go from back to front; although you can go from vagina to anus, I highly suggest you refrain from going anus to vagina. That’s just asking for trouble. If you’re going to be sharing with a partner, I’d advise either using a condom (and changing it between partners) or thoroughly cleaning it between uses.
Cleanliness is next to Godliness; on that note, because the anus can harbor bacteria it is always advised that you fully clean each and every product after use (that goes for everything, not just butt toys).
Pick a body safe material; finally, when shopping for a butt toy make sure to choose one crated out of a non-porous material like glass, steel, high quality silicone, sealed wood or aluminum as they won’t absorb bodily fluids, lube or bacteria like a cheap jelly or rubber toy would.

After collecting Tantus products for over 5 years I figured it was time to create a video haul showcasing my faves and offering some insight to why they are so amazing.

For my very first feature I’m going to be covering a company that I’m a huge fan of, and have been for years and years, Tantus Inc.
Why I Love Them So!
One of the very first manufacturers I came to love and respect was Tantus, and for good reason; not only did they make some of the very best platinum grade silicone products on the market, they also took environmental responsibility and customer satisfaction seriously – areas that were definitely lacking in an industry overrun with big companies all looking to make a fast buck.
Outside the realm of ‘customer service’ they also worked hard to let the staff of retail companies know how valued they were; whether it was fun contests arranged to help motivate sales, the willingness to directly answer questions, provide a mini seminar on their products at a company arranged event or simply helping us to become educated on the varying materials, the folks at Tantus (mostly Mike and Metis) never let us feel like just another cog in the wheel. It was their attention to detail and personal growth that made me and every other staff member feel appreciated and important, something I remembered long after I had moved on from the brick and mortar store where I worked.
When I finally moved into creating videos Tantus was one of the very first companies I did a review for – on my own time, with my own product, bought with money (being a College student made purchasing products something that was few and far between). Not long after the video was online I unexpectedly received a box with a bunch of new products and a short card that read “thank you for all your hard work, we hope you like these – Tantus”. Once again the folks at the company had far exceeded my expectations, becoming the very first company to show support for what I did as a reviewer and educator.
*Note: to hopefully help motivate my fellow reviewers who may be having a hard time getting companies to invest in you, be it with product or financially, I want it to be known that for the entire first year that I made videos very few companies were willing to take a chance and help me grow (though that was almost 6 years ago and things were very different). Pretty much every letter or email I sent requesting a product was met with a politely worded rejection letter, and that’s when I was ‘lucky’ enough to get a response. It was due to companies like Tantus, who saw my potential from one little video, that I was able to grow and eventually make an honest living doing something I love – something I have never forgotten!
Over the years I’ve created quite a few reviews for Tantus products, be it written or video, and very rarely have I been less than enthusiastic about the product I was covering (the Little Secret Whisper was the only one that left me wanting).
Online Offerings
Being a relatively simple website compared to others on the market is just one of the many things that makes their online store top notch. Not only is it very easy to navigate, the streamlined design allows the customer to find what they’re looking for without getting lost within the pages.
