Review: Ice Lugez – Ice Rack

Thanks to the folks at SexToy.com I was sent the Ice Lugez Ice Rack, a product that I think is possibly one of the funniest, most entertaining, fun and crazy products I’ve ever come across!

Okay, so the product isn’t meant for sex or to have sex with – but considering its nature I really just couldn’t resist.

The  Ice Lugez Adult Molds come in two styles; a set of life size set of tits or a penis that you fill with water and use for taking shots from… now I know that sounds like fun, but the real fun of it is where you take the shots from; the tip of the penis or the nipples. It’s all kinds of cheesy and tacky, yet I absolutely loved it!

*I’ll be honest, writing this description just doesn’t do the product justice. You really have to see it for yourself (and take a shot or two) to appreciate it.

How To Use

When you first get your Ice Lugez Mold it will come completely sealed with only an opening the back (a circular hole that’s an inch in diameter used to fill the product with water). Aside from being completely sealed there are also going to be two curved rubber tubes that run from the top of the product down through the center, finally stopping at the nipples (once removed this will allow the shots to pour through). Inside the rubber tubes are metal wires that have been inserted to help keep the shape while the product freezes. I know that I don’t technically have to explain that, but it’s better if you have an idea of what you’re getting before you buy it so you’re not shocked when it arrives.

In regard to using the product the preparation is extremely easy; just fill the the mold 2/3 full with water and set it in your freezer for 24 hours. Once the it’s set fill it the rest of the way with cool water (warm water will crack it) and put it back in your freezer for 24 hours to freeze.

Ice Lugez PackagingSuggestions & Tips

Once the product is frozen and you’re ready to use it you have to cut the entire seam to get it out. Then as if that wasn’t enough, you also have to pull the metal wire and hoses out, while trying not to crack or break the mold.

That said, if you are going to get this product, which I still highly suggest simply because it’s so much fun and really will be the life of the party, these are a list of tips that I wish I was told or were included in the instructions before I used it;

  • Make sure that you freeze it at least 2 days before your party or get together. I received mine the day before my party and was totally stressed about whether it would freeze in time or not. If you give yourself a few days grace you’ll remove a lot of the “before party stress” and guarantee that it will be done before you need it. As for my experience, I cranked my fridge to the coldest setting in an attempt to get it to freeze in time, which it did, but it also froze a lot of veggies and products in my actual fridge that I had to throw out as a result. Chalk it up to a “dumb blond moment”.
  • Before you fill it make sure you have enough room in your freezer for it. The Ice Rack measures just over 12 inches in height, 12 inches in length and 7 inches in width. Suffice to say it is rather large – life size actually. On that note,  there is nothing worse then lugging a very heavy product (that’s also awkward to carry) from one spot to another only to realize that you have to move a bunch of shit out of the way just to make it fit. (If you’re not very strong have someone else carry it for you. Trust me, these fuckers are heavy!)
  • Make sure that you have a surface that it will sit on without falling over and have it set and ready to go before the party starts. This was something I didn’t even think of and ended up having to prop it in a bucket filled with ice – not the most esthetically pleasing display if you ask me.
  • When the time comes to remove it let it sit at room temperature for at least 10 minutes before doing any cutting. There is a likely chance that the ice may crack if you start too soon and the product hasn’t had a chance to acclimate.
  • Set aside a few hours before your to party to remove it from the mold. If you don’t you’ll end up having to take either an hour out of your time with guests or you’re going to be totally nervous that the person holding the knife has had one too many drinks and might slip and cut them selves. (fortunately I had a designated driver at my party that was sober enough to cut it out, otherwise my birthday might have resulted in a hospital visit)

  • When removing the metal wires and rubber tubes pour a little warm water through them first. This will help to melt some of the ice making removal much easier. Also, make sure to use something like pliers when pulling on the metal so that you don’t hurt yourself (I learned from experience on that one).
  • Finally, keep in mind that it is made of ice and is going to melt as the night wears on. That said, I suggest you have either a towel, bucket or tub set up to catch the spill off. I didn’t and ended up with quite a mess.

Now I realize I probably sound like I’m complaining, and to a certain degree I am, but that’s only because I went into it completely unprepared and with no real knowledge of what I was doing.

However, if you follow the tips I’ve outlined for you I’m sure your experience with the Ice Lugez products will be completely different and much better than mine. If it counts for anything, even with the hassle they were the first time around I plan on getting one of each gender for our stag and stagette next year just because they were so much fun!

boobs-luge

The Bad

In regard to the negatives; other then the stress and mess not being prepared can cause (which is why I highly suggest you listen to my advice) the product is also good for only one use. While they aren’t expensive at all, at under $30.00, I would have much rather spent twice (possibly even 3 times) that amount and bought one that was reusable.

So for the makers of the Ice Lugez (if you’re reading), maybe creating 2 versions; one that’s a “one time use only” for those that aren’t sure about it and then another that’s more expensive but reusable would be a good idea. I know I’d buy one…or two.

Final Verdict

All in all I think the Ice Lugez was and is a totally amazing product, especially considering it’s so reasonably priced. Yes it was frustrating and overwhelming, but then again I can attribute that to my trying to rush to get it done and not having any clue as to what the hell I was doing with it, which in reality is my own fault.

*Keep in mind that if you take me out of the equation and ask anyone that attended my 31st birthday what they thought of it, I’m pretty sure they would all say it was hilarious, fun, the life of the party and definitely worth the wait!

For those of you interested the Ice Lugez line of products can be purchased safely and discretely from SexToy.com where you’ll find a large selection of Vibrators and other great sex toys.

Remember guys, if you support me and what I do please also support the sponsors. The more you support them, the more willing they will be to support me and send such fantastic products my way…without them, I have no way of showing you what’s worthy of your time and hard earned cash. Trust me, I know just how much crap there is on the market…kick ass products like the ones I get to review for all of you are few and far between!

Review: Crystal Delights Clear Plug

Thanks to the folks at Sex Toy.com and Crystal Delights I was sent 2 of the most discreet and prettiest butt toys I’ve ever laid my eyes on. For a girl who’s seen oodles of sex toys, that’s saying something!

From the moment I got my Crystal Delights plugs out of the shipping box I was impressed; not only did they come wrapped in pretty tissue paper but they also came with 3 condoms, a packet of lube and a plush, velvety and padded storage bag for safe keeping. Quite a nice touch on their part!

As for the products, I was sent the handcrafted Red Magma (large) and Fuchsia (small) butt plug so that I could do comparative review of the sizes and get a better idea of the type of quality they offer.

Upon viewing them out of the package one would assume they are just like any other glass product on the market, however it is the bottom or base of these products that really makes them shine – literally!

Embedded in the base of the product is a shiny, sparkly, glittery and truly stunning genuine 100% Swarovski Crystal. Yes you heard me right, a Swarovski Crystal!!  Talk about jewelery for your butt!

I’ll be honest, I don’t think there are words to describe just how pretty the plugs are in person, they really are stunning!

The Good

Besides being beautiful the Crystal Delights line of products are also possibly one of the most discreet. Not only do they not look like a sex toy but they are something that could be left out by accident (or on purpose) without the worry of raising any suspicion.

That said, if you’re like me and love sparkly, shiny, glittery or pretty things…you need one!

When I first got them I was slightly worried that the Crystal might fall out or easily come loose. However, on closer inspection (some picking at the seams to satisfy my curiosity and a broken nail later) I came to realize they are firmly in place. Rest assured they are not going anywhere.

Aside from that, I was also worried that the Crystal might be sharp and therefore dangerous. Yet to my pleasant surprise, even with the various angles on the crystal it is wonderfully smooth and soft; features that can definitely be credited to the quality that only Swarovski can offer.

As for using them, one of the great things with the Crystal Delights line of products is the wide flared base they have which allows them to be inserted anally without much fear of them “getting lost”.  Aside from that, because they are non porous you can use them without the worry of them getting “dirty” or absorbing any bacteria.

*If you are going to be using them anally I suggest you use a very good quality lube as the anus, unlike the vagina, does not self lubricate which can make insertion rather difficult.

While most people assume that plugs can only be used anally I’d also like to offer the option of vaginal use. With its bulbous head the Crystal Delights line of products have the ability to provide great g-spot stimulation and/or pressure right where you need it.

*If you are going to be using them vaginally just remember; you can go from front to back, just not back to front.

Benefits of Glass Sex Toys

As for the actual plug, it is made of a beautifully clear, smooth, shiny and quite hard Pyrex glass; the same material that all high end, glass sex toys are made of.  For those of you that don’t know much about Pyrex glass and the amazing benefits that come with it let me fill you in (no pun intended;)

*It takes more than 1,500 lbs of pressure to bend (snap) a 1″ bar of Borosilicate (Pyrex) glass. Crush weight is somewhere in the range of 8 tonnes!

*If you like the feeling of warmth Pyrex glass can be heated up in various ways; you can let it sit in a cup of hot water, place it inside a heating pad, place it your windowsill on a sunny day or held in your hands until it warms to your body temperature.

*If the feeling of something cold is more your thing you can place it in the fridge, freezer, let it sit in a cup of cold water or wrap it in a gel ice pack.

*Like high quality silicone, Pyrex glass is non porous which means it won’t absorb any bacteria, lube, oils, bodily fluids or anything else it might come into contact with. Suffice to say it is very hygienic.

*Because it’s made of glass (and is non porous) you can use pretty much any lube that you want without any fear of ruining it.

If you’re like most people you’re probably going to assume that because the plugs are made of glass they might be a tad dangerous; so long as you don’t drop them or slam them against a wall I (but really, why would you be doing that) they will hold up to quite a bit of wear and tear.

*The first day that I got mine I accidentally dropped it while opening the package. To my surprise and delight it was perfectly fine; no chips, cracks, breaks or damage was done. That said, even if you drop it, you might still be pleasantly surprised with its durability.

Also on that note, for those of you that are afraid it might break while in your bottom I just want to offer that Pyrex glass can withstand up to 8 tonnes of pressure, so unless your sphincter is the “Super Sphincter of the Universe” I think you’re okay.

Product Differences

In regard to the difference in size between the products I have this to offer;

When I initially got the larger one out of the box I was a little nervous and thought it to be rather big; measuring 4 ½ inches in length, the larger version is an inch and a half larger then the smaller version, coming in at only 3 ½ inches.

Other then that the bulbous head of the larger version is also quite a bit longer then that of the smaller version measuring 2 ½ inches compared to the 2 inches of the smaller version. For some of you that half an inch might not seem like much, but if you aren’t very experienced it can be the difference between pain and pleasure.

I also found that the connector between the base and head of the longer version was thinner but longer then that of the smaller plug which was much smaller, but a little fatter.

That said, for those of you that are new to anal toys or play I would suggest that you start with the smaller one, then when you feel ready to move up in the “ass toy world” purchase the larger version. Doing it this way gives your body the time it needs to get accustomed to having something inserted, making the larger version easier to use and less painful when the time does come.

Care & Cleaning

In regard to cleaning the plug nothing could be easier; wash it with soap and water, spray it with toy cleaner or wipe it with an anti bacterial cleansing cloth.  No mater what you do you don’t have to worry as it won’t absorb any residue, nor ruin your plug.

When it comes to caring for your plug, just keep it safely tucked away inside the padded cover and it should be perfectly fine.

Final Verdict

All in all I think the Crystal Delights plug is a product that is not only stunning (thanks to a gorgeous Swarovski Crystal!) but also very discreet, easy to use, body safe, environmentally friendly and made to last! Personally, I love them!

For those of you interested the Crystal Delights line of products can be purchased safely and discretely from both SexToy.com or Crystal Delights where you’ll find a large selection of Vibrators and other great sex toys.

Remember guys, if you support me and what I do please also support the sponsors. The more you support them, the more willing they will be to support me and send such fantastic products my way…without them, I have no way of showing you what’s worthy of your time and hard earned cash. Review: Dual Suction Handle

Thanks to the amazing people at SexToy.com I was sent a product that I think is possibly one of the best inventions I’ve ever seen! Seriously! It’s amazing!!

Not only has this product made “bath time” much more fun… it’s also saved my ass on the few occasions when my “clutzy gene” took over. Yes, not only am I blonde but I’m also a clutz. What a great combo.

So what is it that I’m raving about? well it’s the Dual Locking Suction Handle; a handle that you stick to the wall in the shower that’s designed to make shower sex not only a much more comfortable experience, but also one that is lot easier on you and your partner.

The Good

Even though the handle was designed for sexual purposes while in the shower, I think that it’s also pretty damn amazing for other reasons:

*It’s great if you’re sick and just want something to add that little extra support while bathing, whether it be in the shower or getting in and out of the tub.

*It’s also great if you’re someone who’s very physically active and often experiences sore and aching muscles after exercising; something that can make getting in or out of a tub really painful.

*On that note, if you are someone that tends to swim as a means of exercising, it’s great for sticking to the wall of the pool and either exercising your arms (pulling and pushing away from the wall) or while kicking.

*If you are someone that tends to go out and have “evenings on the town” (i.e. downs enough drinks to make the room spin) this is a perfect product for when you’re hungover and still have the spins the next day.

*Aside from that it’s also great if you are someone who is a little older and needs some help getting in or out of the shower, or if you just need something to lean on while you bathe.

I’ll be honest, it’s partly because this product could be used for so many non sexual purposes that I really and truly do love it and would recommend it to anyone. No questions asked.

Other then the obvious reasons,  I love the Dual Locking Suction Handle because it’s lightweight, easy to use, stable, secure, and can be used on most smooth surfaces. If you don’t have a smooth surface, it will also suction to tiles, just make sure that they are at least 4 inches in size.

As for the stats, the Dual Locking Suction Handle measures 11 ½ inches across (the bottom) from suction cup to suction cup and is about 14 ½ inches across the handle (over the top/from suction cup to suction cup). The suction cups are 4 inches by 4 inches in size. That said, it should fit most showers without too much of a problem.

Safety Tips & Suggestions

Before I tell you how to use it I’m going to offer a few tips that I learned when I was testing it that I think will be very, very helpful.

*Make sure to use a clean smooth surface that is free of soap, shampoo or any residue that most bathing products can produce. Not only will this help the product to initially suction to the surface but it also helps to keep it from sliding.

*I suggest giving it 24 hours to “settle” before using it. When I first stuck mine to the shower it was stable but it did slide, which I’ll be honest kind of scared me. However, when I went in the shower the next day this baby was pretty much glued to the wall and was NOT moving! Thank God for that as it was a “clutzy day” :s

*Always test it first to make sure it is secure BEFORE you use it. Trust me, you do not want to take a nose dive while in the shower. Two words, Ceramic. Hurts.

*If you’re going to use it in something like a Jacuzzi make sure not to place it near where the bubbles come out. If you do they will most likely blow this bad boy off. Not to mention you might break the jet.

*If you have tiles in your shower make sure to place the suction cups in the center which will keep them from getting any little air pockets underneath which might cause them to fall off.

*Wetting the suction cups before use can help them to stick to the wall. They don’t have to be soaking wet, and you don’t even have to we them, but I found that they worked a bit better then when they were dry. Of course you might have different results so I suggest you try and see what works for you.

*Finally, if you’re not sure if one will support your weight I suggest you get two Locking Suction Handles and use them at the same time which will take some of pressure off and possibly make them a bit more stable. At under $15.00 each (which is a steal!!) I think that’s more then reasonable and an easy enough solution.

How To Use

Now, as for using the Handle it’s actually very, very easy;

Located on either side of the product are 2 flip levers. Simply flip them into the upright position (so that they stick up in the air, away from the product) which will release the suction cup. Then take a little bit of water and wet each suction cup. Once they are wet place them on the smooth surface or in the center of the tile and give a little push to make sure they are flat with no air pockets underneath. Press down on the flip levers until you hear them click in place and you’re done.

Seriously, it’s so easy!

To remove it just flip the levers up and the suction cups should release. If you find that they are still stuck just use the little tab located on each suction cup and give a pull to fully release them.

As for cleaning, since this is a shower product you don’t really have to worry as that will take care of itself. That said, if they start to feel a little oily or as if there is soap residue on them just give them a good rinse and they should be fine.

The Bad

As for the negatives the only thing I didn’t like was the packaging; it’s quite sexual in nature and in that tacky ‘we don’t give a shit about peoples discretion’ way. But then again, you’re just going to toss the box out anyways so who cares really.

*On that note, for those of you that wanted to purchase it as a gift for someone you could always just remove the box and give it in a gift bag. There is nothing on the product itself to say where it came from so you don’t have to worry.

Final Verdict

I really don’t think there is much else I can say about the Dual Locking Suction Handle, as I said before I think it’s one of the most amazing products I’ve seen to date, especially because it’s so easy to use, practical, reasonably priced at under $15.00 each and pretty much anyone could use it.

For those of you that are interested, or think this is as cool a product as I do, the company also makes a full range of products including a Single Locking Suction Foot Rest, Suction Cup Hand Cuffs, Dual Shower Head, Vibrating Sponge, a Single Locking Suction Handle and a few other products that I’m sure you might enjoy.

*Unfortunately I haven’t tried any of these products yet so I can’t tell you if they’ll live up to my expectations. That said, if any of you have please let me know in the comments section about your experience with them.

For those of you interested the Dual Locking Suction Handle can be purchased safely and discretely from SexToy.com where you’ll find a large selection of Vibrators and other great sex toys that great companies like Sportsheets make.

Remember guys, if you support me and what I do please also support the sponsors. The more you support them, the more willing they will be to support me and send such fantastic products my way…without them, I have no way of showing you what’s worthy of your time and hard earned cash. Trust me, I know just how much crap there in on the market…kick ass products like the Dual Locking Handle are few and far between!

Getting Into the Sex Toy World ~ Part 2 ~ Becoming an Online Affiliate

Hey Everyone,

For those of you just getting into this series I highly suggest you go back and read last weeks article “Getting Into the Sex Toy World ~ part 1 Building Your Blog“. The article outlined free sites you can use to build your blog, provided examples of online sex toy reviewers that I think are FANTASTIC, included what you will need in regard to categories and provided some “do’s and don’ts” that I think would be very helpful in developing your blog.

*If you start to feel like you’re missing out or losing track don’t worry, this is a typical “class”. There is no way to fall behind. Take the time you need to go back to previous articles and when you’re ready read the next in the series. Go at your own pace and take your time, this isn’t a race and you don’t have to rush to “keep up” 🙂

As for this weeks article I’m going to cover becoming an affiliate, the beginning step to making money online.

Getting set up as an “Affiliate”

Before I even begin I have to stress one thing; in order to receive toys and make money through affiliated sales you have to be the legal age within the Country you/the company resides. For the most part if you’re 18/21 you should be fine. That said it’s always best to check what the legal age is before getting started.

Now that I got that out of the way…

Just in case you don’t know what an affiliate is; an affiliate is someone who sells products online, and makes a commission through the sales that come through their links. Pretty much any advertisement you see on a website/blog is due to an affiliation.

Since most companies want to make money they will allow you to become an affiliate for free and provide you with all the necessary tools like banners, text links, customizable links etc. to succeed. For the most part all you have to do is fill out the necessary forms (takes about 5 minutes) and hit the “send” button.

Affiliate Sites I Support

During my online travels I’ve come across some great companies that employ helpful, honest, hard working and respectful people. I’ve also come across some shady, manipulative ones that sell crappy products and don’t care about their customers…that said, the sites that I’m linking for you are all ones that I support due to their level of quality, integrity, honesty and willingness to work with their affiliates to help them be successful.

*click or copy and paste the urls to your browser

Eden Fantasys ~ 20% payout ~ application can be found @ http://bit.ly/99qBdq

(the Eden Fantasys hosted program is MUCH better than the Commission Junction one, just click “Join Program” and follow the simple steps)

Babeland~ 20% pay out ~ application for affiliation can be found @ http://bit.ly/9HRWCA

(pretty simple, just fill out the form. Where it says “URL where banner will appear” enter the URL of the blog you created with the help of last weeks article)

My Tickle Spot ~ 26% pay out ~ application for affiliation can be found @ http://bit.ly.s87s

(just fill out the form, it’s simple)

Good Vibes ~  20% pay out ~  application for affiliation can be found @ http://bit.ly/93bs4K

(just fill out the form and hit submit. This program has a waiting period for approval but you should know in a couple of days if you were approved)

There are many more but I don’t want to overwhelm you all too soon…I’ll post more soon:)

*If you are not accepted as an affiliate to any of the above sites don’t fret. It will most likely be due to the fact that you haven’t written a review and therefore have nothing for the affiliate manager to see as a sample of your work (I’ll show you how to do that next week).  Once you have written a few reviews and have content that meets the standards of the company you wish to work with you can reapply 🙂

Some Things To Note

*Where it says ‘website’ enter the blog you created with the help of last weeks article. (If you don’t have a blog I suggest you read the previous article and set one up. You’re going to need it!)

*If you’re Canadian, where it says tax ID number or anything relating to that you can just enter your SIN number. The sites are safe so don’t worry about your info, it’s well protected.

*Make sure the information that you include for your payment is correct. The last thing you need is a check being held due to a silly misspelling or sent to the wrong address.

*If the site you are affiliating to only pays via direct deposit you can very easily call the bank you are with and ask them for the necessary information.

*if you have to enter a name or user ID, use a name that will help you build your ‘brand”. I suggest you use the same name you used for your blog (or a shorter version of it) as that will once again help to build your online brand 🙂

*some affiliate programs have a box you can check to receive monthly/weekly newsletters that include updates on sale items, new product launches or other sexual health info. I highly suggest you sign up for these newsletters as they can help provide you with information that will increase your success rate as an affiliate.

*If you check the blogs of any successful affiliate they all have more than one advertisement/affiliation on their site. That said, don’t pick and choose. Instead sign up for all the affiliation sites you can handle and pick one or two to promote each week. This will not only allow your readers a variety  of places to shop (and possibly get them better deals) but it will also increase your chances of gaining income from more than one source.

*as for how much you’ll make…well that all depends on you and how much time and energy you’re willing to put into promoting what you do.

*some of the affiliate sites I mentioned above will pay out a small % to me when you get sales, but don’t worry it won’t come out of your pocket/commissions, it comes from the company in a tiered structure. In a future article relating to “being a successful affiliate” I will show you how to gain affiliates under you like I have. I’d do it now but I don’t want to overwhelm you with too many steps/information.

Wrapping It Up

In regard to becoming an affiliate there isn’t much more that I can suggest. It’s rather easy to fill out a form, hit the submit button and wait for approval.  The challenge lies in becoming a successful affiliate, something I plan on helping you become with this series.

As for the series itself, while it will be slightly technical in nature, I will do my very best to help you learn in a step-by-step way that is fun, easy to understand, provides insight to the industry and shows you ways of getting involved when you have no previous knowledge to help.

Remember guys, I was once in your shoes and know just how confusing it can seem. That in mind, with a little help and support I’m sure you can learn how to be successful at doing something that is not only liberating but tonnes of fun as well!

For those of you that already have a blog up and running, next week I’ll be focusing on writing a review. The article will cover the “do’s” and “don’ts” of writing a respectful and professional review, offer suggestions of what you should include(regarding the products your reviewing), provide examples of reviews from others that I personally love and help you find companies that will provide you with toys to review for free (should you be accepted).

For those of you that don’t yet have a blog but would like to participate I suggest you go back to the previous article and get started.

If you have any questions about setting up your blog/becoming an affiliate do your best to find the answers online, if you can’t feel free to send me a message and I’ll do what I can to help 🙂

Hope your having a great afternoon!
