Vibrators are sex toys with mechanical parts intended to vibrate against the body and offer stimulation internally, externally, or both, for an arousing and pleasurable feeling. They come in various shapes, sizes, colors, textures or materials as well as varying vibration settings.

Some vibrators are designed to be inserted to stimulate areas like the g-spot or the prostate gland (anally), while others are meant to stimulate external parts of the body i.e. clitoris, nipples, labia, taint, shaft of the penis, balls, or other areas. Although the majority of vibrators are created to provide a steady vibration, you can also find them with a variety of stimulation types like rotating beads or shaft, thrusting action, or oscillations (to name a few), all of which are designed to bring a greater sense of arousal and pleasure.
