Review: Superbe by Natural Contours

If there is one thing I love about this “job” it’s the fact that I get see so many great products, ones that I would most likely never be exposed to otherwise. The Superbe by Natural Contours (sent to me by My Tickle Spot) is no exception.

As with all of the Natural Contours products I was impressed with the way it was packaged; a clear, matte, plastic case that discreetly and respectfully displayed the product. There was nothing on it to hint what it was nor was there any nudity, sexually suggestive material or tacky phrases; the packaging is simple, and that’s why I like it.

When I initially took the Superbe out of the packaging I was taken aback by its shape and design. Not only did it not look like a typical “vibrator” but it was also rather large and bulky measuring 4.25 inches in length and graduating in width from 1.25 to 2.5 inches. Aside from that it was an strange shade of yellow, reminding me of something I might see in a sci-fi movie rather then a product used for pleasure.

That said, if you’re like me and find it to be slightly “odd” looking don’t let the outer appearance fool you; the Superbe, like all Natural Contours products, is extremely comfortable and packs a powerful little punch!

When I first held my Superbe I was quite surprised see how well it fit into my hand, I was even more surprised to see that after holding it for 15 minutes I had no cramping in my wrist or pains shooting up my arms like I usually do (damn you carpal tunnel! Damn you!)

That said, for those of you that are tired of arm cramps, pains in your fingers, having a sore wrist or tension that can be created from keeping the same position (or holding something for a period of time) this product would be perfect you!

Operating the Superbe is easy; located on the handle is a simple “slider” that allows you to switch between speeds with ease. To turn it on move the slider to the opposite side and you’re met with the lowest speed, move it once space over and you’re met with the medium speed, move it one more and you’ve got the highest speed. To turn it off just slide it back into its original position and it quickly stops.

As for the ways it can be used; with its curved neck and rounded head the Superbe fits the shape of the vulva perfectly, almost hugging it, while at the same time delivering amazing stimulation to the clitoris. I’ll be honest, I only know of a few other products in the same affordable price range, that are also capable of providing the controlled but widespread and comfortable stimulation the Superbe has to offer.

The Superbe can also be used by males to comfortably hug their balls, press on the perineum (rest the balls on the curve and let the head press on the “taint”) or to gently caress the shaft of their penis.

Aside from that, with it’s hard outer casing the product can be used to knead sore and aching muscles while at the same time providing soothing and relaxing vibrations.

In regard to volume the product, while it does make noise I can say with confidence that compared to other products on the market it’s on the quieter end of the scale.

Changing the batteries is very easy; simply slide off the battery cover, pop in 2 AA batteries (provided with the product), slide the cover back on and you’re done. Just remember to always remove your batteries when the product isn’t in use as they can corrode and kill your toy. Trust me you don’t want to ruin your toy.

Since the Superbe is made of a hard plastic you can use any lube you want without the fear of possibly ruining it.

When it comes to cleaning (its splash proof but not waterproof) I don’t suggest washing under a running faucet. Instead, I suggest that you either wipe it down with a damp cloth/cleansing cloth or spray with it with an anti bacterial toy cleaner and let it air dry. Since it’s not the shape of anything “sexual” you could safely and discreetly place it in a drawer for safe keeping without the fear of embarrassment should it be found.

As an added bonus, for those of you that are clutzy and have accidentally dropped a vibe or two to its death (I’m sorry Pocket Rocket and Enchanted Egg, it was an accident I swear!), the Superbe is made with an “impact resistant casing” that helps to ensure it has a long and lasting life 🙂

The Bad

When it comes to things I don’t like about the product I only have only two;

It isn’t the most powerful vibe I’ve come across but for some of you that might be a positive! Remember guys, just because a product “isn’t that powerful” it doesn’t mean it’s not good 😉

Second, it’s not waterproof; a definite draw back for those of you that like having something you can take in the washroom when your “bathing”. That said, there are other products that Natural Contours makes (like the Jolie) that are waterproof and just as comfortable as the Superbe.

Final Verdict

All in all I think the Superbe is a definite must have! Especially for those of you that need long periods of stimulation (without the arm cramping) in order to achieve an orgasm. It’s not only easy to use, care for and operate but it’s also possibly one of the most comfortable and ergonomically designed vibes I’ve laid my hands on!

Review: G-Ki by Je Joue

Thanks to the folks at Eden Fantasy I was sent what has become my all-time-favorite g-spot toy, EVER!

Seriously, The G-Ki by Je Jou is the best g-spot stimulator I have ever had my hands on and I would recommend it to any female, especially those that have had (or do have) a hard time finding their g-spot.

Packaging

From the moment I got it out of the shipping box I was pleased; the G-Ki is beautifully packaged with nothing on it to hint at what’s inside; it’s discreet, professional, respectful and very high end.

Removing the packaging reveals a pretty black storage box that safely stores your G-Ki. Again I have to admit just how much I love products that come with cases/boxes or places you can keep your toy. Not only does it make your life easier when it comes to hiding toys (should you have to) but it also gives you a place to keep everything together and safe so nothing gets broken or goes missing.

The Good

Like most high end sex toys the G-Ki is latex free and made of medical grade silicone making it hygienic, phthalate free, non-toxic, easy to care for, durable and hypoallergenic. While it is a “firm” product it’s very soft to the touch, almost velvety in feel with a slightly squishy head.

In regard to size the G-Ki measures 9 inches in total length and 1 1/2 inches in diameter, suffice to say it is a very thin toy which should go a long way for easy insertion. While it appears rather large (mostly in pictures) only the first 5 inches of the curved head are meant to be inserted offering amazing and targeted g-spot stimulation. That said, you don’t have to insert the first 5 inches, just insert what’s comfortable for you even if that’s only the first 2 or 3 inches. Remember: every body is different, what works for one person might not work for you and vice versa.

As if the wonderful design of the curved head wasn’t enough, the product is also fully customizable! That’s right, finally a toy that you can shape and bend to your specific needs!

I’m sure a lot of you are wondering what I mean by that, well let me explain:

Located on the G-Ki’s head and middle of the shaft are 2 bendable joints that allow you to shape and mold the product so it fits just the way you like.

To customize the head just push inwards on the raised bump located near the top of the product, releasing the joint and allowing you to widen or create a more extreme curve.

If you want to customize it even further just push inward on raised bump located on the middle of the shaft, releasing the joint and allowing you to curve it so that it’s more comfortable to not only hold, but also allows you to rock the G-Ki generating amazing g-spot and clitoral stimulation.

*I know that my instructions might seem a little confusing but in truth it’s actually very easy to shape and manipulate the product.

In total I found 5 different positions that you could shape the G-Ki. That said if the first one doesn’t generate g-spot stimulation, you always have another 4 that you can play with until you find one that does. Keep in mind that while it might take a little time, when you do find a customized curve that hits your g-spot, it will definitely be worth the wait! Trust me!

In regard to the vibrations; there are 5 different speeds and 5 different vibrational patterns and activating them is a sinch; simply press the metal + (plus) button located on the handle once to activate it and to run through the 5 different speeds. The sixth press of the button shifts to the vibrational patterns. To run through them just keep pressing the + (plus) button until you find one that you like. If you go past a setting that you like just hit the – (minus) button located right below and you go back to the previous speed or setting. To turn it off just hold down the – (minus) button for 2 seconds and off it goes. Fantastic for those of you that need a product that has a “quick off” feature.

As if having 10 different vibrations wasn’t enough, the G-ki has vibration points in both the head and the shaft so when you turn it on, the entire toy vibrates. Unlike other products with only a vibration point in the head, shaft or base (usually limiting the amount of stimulation you receive) there is no area on the G-Ki that doesn’t carry the vibration. A feature that I absolutely loved!!

One of the other things I love about the G-Ki is the fact that it’s fully rechargeable, eliminating the need for batteries and ensuring that your product is ready to go when you are. To charge it (whether in or out of the storage box) simply place the magnetic charging dock on the buttons and charging begins. On that note, a single 2 hour charge of the G-Ki will give it 2 hours of use. Quite a bit if you ask me!

*Troubleshooting help; if you’ve placed the charger correctly the LED light on the shaft will flash letting you know that it’s charging. If it doesn’t flash then you are doing it wrong and need to readjust the charger. Once charging is complete the LED light will emit a steady glow rather then flash.

Care & Cleaning

If you’re wondering what kind of lube to use I would only suggest a good water based one and not silicone as it might ruin your toy. As I’ve said before, silicone toys are great because they’re non porous and doesn’t absorb any bacteria. If you use a silicone lube with a silicone toy you run the risk of it breaking down which just defeats the purpose of it being non porous.

As for cleaning I would simply suggest washing it with a mild antibacterial soap and rinsing it well. If you’d like you could also spray it down with toy cleaner, just keep in mind that it is made of silicone so you don’t have to worry about it absorbing any bacteria to begin with. Once it’s clean you can simply place it back inside the storage case it came with, tuck it away in a drawer, closet or under the bed and it’s safe for next time.

I know a lot of you prefer to use your toys in the shower or bath for the security and privacy that offers; fortunately the G-Ki is waterproof, yet another feature I loved!

The Bad

In regard to negatives I have only one and to be honest it really isn’t anything to worry about; manipulating the joints to adjust the head and shaft might be a little scary at first, especially if you’re someone like me who tends to break things. That said all it takes is a couple minutes to learn the amount of pressure your G-ki needs to move and you’re fine.

Final Verdict

In case you can’t tell I’m a huge fan of the G-Ki, not only because of it’s superior quality, luxurious feel and the fact that it’s rechargeable, but also because of it’s ability to be personally customized…a feature that has provided me with some of the best g-spot orgasms I have EVER had!

As if that wasn’t enough it’s also phthalate and latex free, light weight, waterproof, powerful, discreet, very quiet and easy to use. I don’t really know what more a person could ask for! Review: Tuyo Vibomasseur

Thanks to the folks at My Tickle Spot I was sent one of the prettiest, most discreet, fun and playful vibrating massagers/foreplay toys I’ve ever come across. Seriously, I love this thing!

Packaging

The first thing that impressed me with the Tuyo Vibromasseur was the fact that it came very professionally and discreetly packaged. There was nothing, literally nothing, on the box that might hint to what it was; no sexual pictures, wording or anything else to give it away. To be honest, if I saw it in a store (even with my keen “sex toy radar”) I would have no clue what it was. It’s that discreet.

The Good

As for the actual product, it’s a vibrating ball. Yes you read right, a vibrating ball! Which in an of itself is kinda weird, but considering all the other bizarre designs on the market, not that surprising.

For those of you wondering what’s so great about the Tuyo let me explain;

Operating Instructions

To turn it off just hold down the button for 3 seconds and it quickly turns off. Like I said, it’s very easy!

In regard to the vibration modes there are 8 in total; 3 speeds of steady vibration going from low to medium to high, as well as a low throbbing, pulsation, escalation and a quick throbbing.

Care & Cleaning

For those of you that want to use it for sexual purposes like clitoral stimulation, I suggest you use a simple water based lube, but that’s only if you need any. In regard to massages you use an oil based lotion if you’d like, just don’t use anything with silicone in it as the Tuyo has a silicone non-slip grip which could get ruined if it came into contact with a silicone lube.

When it comes to cleaning the Tuyo can be washed with mild antibacterial soap, rinsed well then either left to air dry or wiped down with a lint free cloth. Keep in mind that the product is splash proof, but not waterproof, so you don’t want to be submerging it in water for any length of time.

The Bad

Even though it’s very discreet there are going to be times when you want to tuck it away for safe keeping. Keep in mind that it is a ball and if you put it on a slanted surface it might just roll away. Fortunately the Tuyo comes with a very pretty and discreet satin lined box that you can keep it when not in use.

In regard to negatives, I didn’t like that it wasn’t waterproof and I’ll admit it is rather loud. On that note, when it comes to sex toys and the way they are being made we’re getting a little spoiled with all the features and benefits the newer ones are coming out with. Let’s not forget that the Hitachi Magic Wand is still a best seller and it’s neither waterproof nor quiet.

Aside from that, while it’s marketed as a sex toy I personally think it does a much better job of arousing through use during foreplay then delivering orgasms on its own. If you’re part of a couple and looking for something fun and playful to add to the bedroom the Tuyo is definitely a must have!

*For those of you that aren’t into pretty, elegant looking pink and white toys the Tuyo also comes in a very sophisticated black design.

Final Verdict

All in all I think the Tuyo Vibromasseur is one of the most fun little inventions I’ve ever seen. Not only do I think it’s done in exceptionally good taste but it’s also fantastically designed with its silicone non-slip grip, 8 modes of vibration, chrome trim and body safe materials (being latex, PVC and phthalate free!).

Review: Vida Zara

Unlike a lot of products on the market theZara arrives safely tucked away inside a stunning zippered storage case. The case itself is a sleek, matte, black, faux leather that is discreet, professional and very trendy looking. Not only is it pretty, but it’s also very roomy with enough space to safely store your Zara along with a small bottle of lube, the charger and some condoms.

The Zara is sleek in design, light weight and quite beautiful. Made of anodized gun metal aluminum and coated in black onyx silicone, the product is non porous and ultra hygienic. More then that, it’s phthalate, Cadmium, and Mercury free making it easy to care for and environmentally friendly.

As for the stats, Zara is very thin, especially compared to most vibrators on the market. It measures 7 inches in total length, with only the first 3 inches meant for insertion. That said, for those of you that don’t like large products this one is perfect for you. Not only does the thin width make insertion easy and comfortable but the size itself goes a long way for direct g-spot stimulation.

Speaking of g-spot stimulation, with its curved head and bulbous design that is what this product was specifically designed for. When it came to the volume of this product I was shocked to see that it held true to its description of being “whisper silent”; there are no rumblings, high pitched squeals or any other noises that might cause suspicion should you get caught in the act. On that note, I’ll be honest this product is possibly one of the quietest vibrators I have ever seen!

In regard to charging the Zara, it’s as easy as using it; simply flip up the silicone stopper, plug your AC adapter into the AC outlet, plug it in the wall, let it charge for 1 hour and you’re good to go!

*the first time you charge it it’s suggested that you do so for 3 hours before using it. Then after that you only need to charge it for one hour intervals rather then the initial three.

As if the product wasn’t great to begin with it’s also waterproof – who could ask for more! That said the Zara can be used in or out of the shower, bath or any other scenario you can think of. If you’re someone who would prefer to use it somewhere like a Jacuzzi or hot tub I am going to suggest placing it inside a condom first and tying off the opening, as I don’t know if chlorine will do any damage. It’s always better to be safe then sorry!

Because this is a silicone toy I would only suggest a good water based lube. One of the great things with silicone products is the fact that they are non-porous; if you use a silicone lube with a silicone toy you run the risk of ruining your toy. Trust me, with luxury products like the Zara you don’t want to run any risk of destroying it.

Since the Zara is made of silicone and waterproof keeping it clean is very easy. Just wash it with antibacterial soap and water, rinse it well and either wipe it down with a lint free cloth or let it air dry. Once it’s dry you can either tuck it away in the storage case or use the pretty little pouch it also comes with for safe keeping.

Being that this is such a kick ass toy I had a rather hard time finding faults with it. That said, the only ones that I could come up with were the fact that it has a few seams on it (which might interfere with a smooth insertion), it doesn’t have a multiple of vibration modes (i.e. rumbling, throbbing, pulsation, it just has speeds) and it isn’t as strong as a lot of the other luxury products on the market. I’ll admit that last negative may be a positive for some of you, especially if you find most toys too powerful. If that’s the case this might just be the perfect luxury toy for you!

Final Verdict

All in all I think the Vida Zara is possibly one of the most futuristic looking, easy to use, professional and interesting g-spot vibrators I’ve come across. As if it being waterproof, light weight, rechargeable, specifically designed for g-spot stimulation, comfortable, whisper silent and eco friendly wasn’t enough, the fact that it also comes with a one year limited warranty makes it a product that I would suggest to pretty much anyone!

Review: Tenga Soft Tube Onacup

After many requests from my readers for more “toys for boys” I thought I would cover a product that’s not only easy to use and very affordable, but is also quite interesting.

The product for today is the Tenga Soft Tube Onacup (formerly known as the Squeeze Play 8.0) it’s a phthalate and BPA free disposable masturbation product that is meant for “one time use only”. Basically, you have your fun with it and chuck it aside after…kinda like a one night stand, but not.

Just because it’s disposable doesn’t mean it’s a waste of money. For those of you that tend to travel a lot, or want something that you don’t have to worry about hiding or taking care of this might just be the perfect product for you.

For those of you wondering why I say “travel a lot” it’s due to a few key features the product has to offer;

It’s very light weighing in at only 130(g) compared to the Fleshlights 800(g). For those of you that use the Fleshlight I’m sure you would agree that while it feels damn amazing it is rather heavy – something that I think might make it a little hard to travel with.

It’s discreet. While it does have some suggestive writing on it explaining what it is, it doesn’t have an orifice that resembles anything sexual, nor does it have sexual images on the cover that could cause embarrassment if you’re stopped at customs.

It’s disposable. For those of you that just want something you can take with you and chuck away after, the Tenga Soft Tube Onacup is great! Keep in mind that while it is disposable it’s also very inexpensive (under $11.00 on my site) so it’s not like you’re tossing money down the drain.

Finally, it comes pre-lubed so you don’t have to worry about also bringing a bottle of lube with you.

As for the stats, it measures 8 inches in length, 4 inches in width at its widest point and 3 inches at it’s smallest (by my measurements anyways). If you are someone who is 8 inches or above in size, you might want to opt for something larger like the Fleshlight, which might be a bit more comfortable.

In regard to using the product it is very easy; just pull on the perforated seam, remove the wrapping and peel the sticker off the end. Once you’ve done that you can simply pop off the lid, insert your self and you’re good to go.

Unlike most of the other male masturbation products on the market the entry point does not resemble anything sexual; it’s just an opening set inside a white squishy “tube”.

*For those of you worried that it might be found, I don’t think it would really raise any suspicion. It might leave people rather perplexed, but they surely wouldn’t be offended.

*On that note you might also have to do a bit of fantasy play or turn on some porn to help distract you since it doesn’t offer any visual stimulation.

When it comes to the internal texture; it starts with a “rippling tightening zone”, then has another “tightening zone” followed by a “brushing zone” (made of 40 nubs) and finally ends with a rounded head consisting of 29 large and small nubs. I can only assume the added sensations these textures would create would make the product feel pretty damn amazing!

As I said earlier the it comes fully lubed so when you first open it you may find it to be sticky, slimy, goopy or wet to the touch. I’ll be honest when I first opened it I was a little surprised with how much lube was on it and the way it made the product feel. (*I didn’t say bothered, I said surprised)

For those of you that are curious as to how it feels, since I don’t have a penis I can’t speak from personal experience, however I can tell you what my “tester” said;

“At first it felt a little weird; it was wet, cool and a very foreign. All it took was watching a couple of minutes of porn and I completely forgot what I was fucking. Does it feel like a vagina? No, not really. But that doesn’t mean that it feels bad. Actually, the fact that you can adjust the amount of pressure by squeezing it adds some pretty cool stimulation (the bumps and ridges) you definitely can’t get with your own hand. Would I use it again? Sure, it felt good and didn’t leave me with a hand cramp after. Would I recommend it? I’d still rather suggest the Fleshlight just cause you can use it again, but for anyone that wants a cheap and easy product this would definitely be a good one.”

On that note, one of the things I really liked about it was the fact that you can adjust the amount of pressure just by squeezing your hand. Aside from that you can also hold your finger over the end to adjust the amount of suction you experience. Pretty cool if you ask me! (Damn you penis envy! Damn you!)

As for cleaning, since this product is only meant to be used once you don’t really have to worry and can just throw it out after. If you did want to use it more then once, I would say up to three times max, just make sure to use a condom each time so that there is no bodily fluid (i.e. semen) that could get inside.

In regard to the negatives I have a couple;

1st. It smells kinda funky, not bad per se, just funky like plastic. Since the product is phthalate and BPA free I don’t think it’s due to the material. To be honest I don’t why it smells that way, the lube maybe? *shrugs*

2nd. It’s only meant for one use. Personally I like products that you can use over and over (especially if you like them) rather then having to chuck them out after and buy another one. Even having said that I still think it’s a great idea for people that travel a lot or those that just want to try something new without spending a tonne of dough.

Final Verdict

All in all I think the Tenga Soft Tube Onacup is a pretty interesting, offering a lot of bang for it’s buck! It’s light weight, easy to use, not at all intimidating, affordable, ready to go when you are, doesn’t require any special care, is phthalate/BPA free, comes fully lubed and offers those of you that travel a very discreet option for “fun time” while on the road.
