Review: Chavez Designs ~ Jollie

Jollie Dildo

arts ‘n crafts meets pleasure object

After recently obtaining the newest addition to my collection, a fuzzy polka dot filled Jollie, I came realize that when it came to the vast majority of sex toys, I’ve thrown around the words “amazing g-spot stimulation” probably more often than I should.

Yes, there are some that have brought on mind boggling orgasms, the Bent Graduate, Je Joue G-Ki, Lelo Ella, Fun Factory DeLight, and Diving Nun being a handful of them, but for the most part there are few others, in my opinion, that are able to target the area with such precision, time and time again, so effortlessly, that they’re worthy of the claim. In retrospect I can’t help but to wonder, what the hell was I thinking?!

Big thanks to the lovely folks over at Chavez Dezignz for helping me to finally get my hands on one of these badass beauties!  You guys are amazing, my vagina and g-spot thank you!

Packaging

There’s no bells or whistles here. No cardboard boxes or cheap plastic clamshell packages. No scantily clad women or men, and no tacky descriptions. Definitely no product info or half assed marketing scheme. When it comes to the packaging, what you see is basically what you get, as each of their creations comes placed inside a clear plastic baggie, with nothing but a pretty little bow to accompany it.

While some may see this as cheap, I find it a very nice change of pace. No packaging means no unnecessary garbage, no need for concern should someone else get their hands on it, and no b.s. It’s eco-friendly, cost effective, cute and far more personal. Maybe it’s just me but it gives the impression that someone, rather than a big corporation, put some time, thought and care into what they were sending my way. Not a machine, not a conveyor belt, not a factory, but instead an actual person, and in a market where little touches are few and far between, that counts for something.

Deluxe Jollie by Chavez Dezignz

ergonomic handle

The Good

Let it be known that this is not a ‘thrusting’ object, quite the opposite actually; the Jollie is at it’s best when inserted and left in place while being ground upon, with the fullness, pressure on the g-spot, and depth of sensations offered acting as the essence of the experience. Sure, you could thrust it, but doing so would likely leave you wanting, waiting and disappointed. Don’t do that to the Jollie, it doesn’t deserve it.

As for the many other benefits and features…

  • With a curved body that graduates in diameter and circumference, the Jollie delivers a feeling of fullness that’s hard to match. More than that, the raised and slightly thicker middle portion offers exceptionally comfortable and redonkulously pleasurable g-spot stimulation, while the gentle bumps on the handle offer an added sensation where clitoral stimulation is concerned. This of course shouldn’t be surprising being that it’s made anatomically from the inside of a female subject. How they did that I have no clue, but damn, it certainly worked out well!
  • The silicone is supple, thick, smooth and firm, with a very slight bit of squish and give, allowing for insertion to be a highly gratifying experience. As an added bonus, the sensation of vaginal contractions around the shaft (during orgasm) were overwhelmingly intense. Again, I’m pretty sure the shape aided well with this as it fit like a hand to a glove.
Deluxe Jollie with Puff Balls

puff balls!

  • Being that most females require clitoral stimulation to get off, the Jollie’s shape makes the inclusion of other methods fairly easy to incorporate; the small loop in the handle is great for holding a larger sized bullet or thin vibe, while the rounded end cups most hand held wands surprisingly well (I tested mine with a Hitachi Magic Wand and Fairy Wand). On that note, unlike other dildos sporting either a flared or flat base, the end of the Jollie is curved allowing the fingers to fall in place almost instantly when the handle is employed.
  • Each product made by the company is crafted out of 100% silicone that’s virtually non-porous, hypoallergenic, hygienic, non-toxic and phthalate/latex free. Body safe toys for the win!
  • For those that like the idea of customization, and don’t mind paying a little more for it, be it sparkles, stars, puff balls, stickers, barbie shoes (yes I did just say BARBIE SHOES!!!), or otherwise, the folks at Chavez Dezignz are more than willing to discuss the option of making one that is totally unique. Though I will admit, it was the puff balls that got me, can we say instant love?! I think we can.
  • Finally, something I probably should have started with, each product they create is handcrafted. For some of you this probably wont garner much attention, but for me, someone who likes supporting those that do something they love, while also trying to forage their way though a market filled with less than honorable manufacturers, the fact that each one is hand poured and potentially crafted to your specifications counts for something.  I can’t help but feel better giving them my dollar than a manufacturer that’s just going to use it to continue making shitty jelly products or prey on consumers who don’t know better.

Regarding the actual measurements you’re looking at a total length of 9″ inches, with an insertable length of around 6″ inches, the first smaller portion has a circumference of 5″ inches, that graduates up to 6 1/4″ inches at the fullest and slides back down to 5″ inches just before the handle starts.

Care & Cleaning

When it comes to keeping your Jollie good as new I’d suggest only using water based lubes as a silicone version would likely ruin it. As for cleaning you can simply give it a good wash with soap and water, being that it’s crafted out of high quality silicone it wont need the same attention a lower class product would require. If you’re like me and can’t stand lint, I’d suggest you wrap it in a lint free piece of fabric or keep it inside the plastic baggie it comes it while not in use.

size comparison

The Bad

Regarding my dislikes, or issues with the product I think some may have, there were a few, though I don’t think they’ll be a concern for everyone;

It attracts lint. So do most silicone products… and even though I know that it’s still a pet peeve of mine.

Being that it’s rather thick it may be too large for some. Having said that, if you like girth over length, it should be a very welcome addition. I personally loved it!

Due to the texture of the silicone, shape, and size, it may be somewhat difficult to insert without being totally lubricated.  Having said that, for as aroused as I was I found there needed to be additional lube or it created an uncomfortable drag on the skin that made me tense, creating a situation where I didn’t think I’d be able to take it. Once lube was added and it was fully inserted, AMAZING!

If you like thrusting this may not be the product for you since using it that way doesn’t do it the justice it deserves. If on the other hand you enjoy inserting products and basically leaving them to do their thing, while you busy yourself with clitoral stimulation (or whatever else gets you off), don’t hesitate. The experience was far beyond what I expected, in every good way possible.

For those that like to have uninterrupted clitoral stimulation, be it with a vibe, fingers or orally, while something else is inserted, the handle may get in the way. If you’re clever you can find a way to incorporate it into the experience (adding a vibe to the loop in the handle, using the handle to hold a thicker vibe in place against the body, or pressing a vibe directly against the Jollie to diffuse very strong vibrations are all great ideas). Of course if you’d like to avoid that all together you could opt to get a Jollet, which is essentially a Jollie minus the handle, but equally as badass.

girthy s.o.b

Finally, they’re not cheap. Well not the fun puff ball, heart filled Valentine, customized, or pretty sparkle versions anyways. If you want a Deluxe they’ll run you around $200.00. Fortunately there is the original Jollie available in 6 different colors for $100.00. In all honestly the additional elements of the Deluxe don’t affect the experience in any way when it comes to sensations, so if you don’t mind having a solid color over fun puff balls you’re in luck (or you could get an original solid Jollie and Jollet for just under the price of a Deluxe. It’s a win/win situation).

Final Verdict

Oh Deluxe Jollie, how I love thee! From the smooth and firm silicone to the adorable, fun little puff balls held within, this perfectly designed dildo is far beyond the scope of what’s currently available. Both design and appearance are beyond different, but in this case, different is most definitely good! Not only does it target the g-spot with precision, add a sensation of fullness that’s hard to match, but the basic features helped me to reach some of the strongest and most enjoyable orgasms I’ve ever had. Seriously, it’s beyond revolutionary, and that my friends, is priceless.

If you’re looking for a new pleasure object, one that’s innovative, original, body safe, quality, highly pleasurable and definitely worth every penny, you’ll want to consider adding a Jollie to your collection. Trust me, your vagina/g-spot will thank you for it later.

Review: Fun Factory DeLight

Fun Factory Delight

snaking curves

When I first saw the Fun Factory DeLight back in 2008 it was instant love.  The curves. The words ‘medical grade silicone’.  The make-shift handle and easily accessible buttons. The variety of vibration settings, rechargeability, splash-proofness and discreet design. Not to mention the fact that it was made by one of my all time fave companies – Fun Factory (which is synonymous with quality). Everything about it screamed POTENTIALLY AMAZING G-SPOT STIMULATION… and yes, I just had to have it.

For as much as I lusted after it, dreaming of the day it would grace my vajayay with its presence, it always seemed to elude me. No matter how hard I worked, begged or pleaded, I just couldn’t seem to get my hands on it. I even saved up for it a few times over, only to find the retailer in question out of stock each time I was ready to buy (partially my fault for wanting a specific color).  And now, years later, when I’ve made peace with the fact that it would forever be ‘the one that got away‘, it falls into my lap with a simple “may I please have for a review“. Funny how life works sometimes. Fun Wares, my lady bits are very thankful.

professional packaging

Packaging

Like all the products Fun Factory makes the packaging is professional, discreet, playful, quality and luxurious.  There’s nothing on it that’s tacky, rude or inappropriate, no naked ladies or gents and definitely nothing that would make you cringe. Instead of the typical and by that I mean cheap plastic clam shell design most intimate accessories come packed in, Fun Factory once again opted to use a sturdy box with a peek-a-boo window, silver and red shades, along with all the benefits and features laid out in a way that’s easy to find, attractive and simple to understand. Basically put, there’s no guess work with this company, what you see is what you get.

The Good

Good things come in oddly shaped, well designed and easy to maneuver packages. At least that’s how I see it with DeLight. Sure, it has a few little kinks that it could stand to have worked out, but for the most part, it’s got everything I want in a vibe and more.

  • It’s discreet,  very discreet. I mean look at it, there is no way you’d think that was a vibrator. Sure, it would likely draw attention due to the amazing colors and strange shape, but for the most part anyone that found it would be totally clueless to the fact you stuffed it in your whoo-ha. Yes, I did just call your vagina a ‘whoo-ha”.  Sue me.
  • It’s crafted out of 2 body safe materials, that together, lend themselves well to the design, making maneuvering the product easy, comfortable and surprisingly ergonomic – one is a smooth and supple, matte, phthalate and latex free silicone that’s totally body safe, hypoallergenic and hygienic (the fucshia colored insertable g-spot stimulator), the other,  a highly polished and hard ABS plastic that’s also non-porous, smooth, glossy and firm (the shiny black sides).  .
  • While I know this will be a downside for the ‘size queens’ reading, it’s much smaller than I imagined coming in at only 6″ in total length (that’s not measuring the whole length since it curves, but instead from top to bottom), with only 4″ being insertable. On that note, 4″ inches, and properly curved ones at that, are more than enough to hit the spot.  Having said that, it’s not meant for deep penetration or thrusting, instead being specifically designed for g-spot stimulation.  Sure, some will likely have to adjust, wiggle, rock or apply pressure to suit their body and personal needs, but for the most part it targets the area with an exceptionally high level of precision I’ve only experienced with a handful of products.
  • Although it’s not hitachi, leaf, or We-Vibe Touch strong, it still packs a bit of a punch, especially when fully charged. More than that, the vibrations can be felt through the entire body of the product. Sure, they tend to diminish the further you get from the area the motor is located, but for the most part you’re able to easily stimulate the entire vulva… we’re talking the clit, labia (big and small), vaginal opening, g-spot, everything! Quite a nice feature for those that like all over sensations.
  • It’s whisper quiet. Even on the highest setting. ‘Nuff said.
  • Maybe it was the way it was pictured online, or the way my silly brain works, but for some reason I never assumed any part of it was fully silicone, instead guessing a portion was coated in it. For many of you this won’t seem like a point worth mentioning, but where sex toys are concerned it makes a big difference.  Not only does it make the insertable end smooth and supple, slightly textured and velvety to the touch, it’s also highly flexible allowing it to move, shift and bend with you while also making insertion very comfortable. Amazing!
  • Okay, so this might not really be a serious selling point, but if you’re sick of the traditional pink, black, purples and weirdly colored pinky purples, DeLight comes in 6 different variations; baby rose/rose, india red/violet, white/orange, violet/violet, and the one I waited forever for blackberry/black. With all those options there’s definitely something for everyone. Unless you like green or blue, then you’re shit outta luck.
  • Since we all know how much I hate using batteries the fact that it’s rechargeable should come as no surprise. Not only does it save you money in the long run, along with the planet, it also gives you a much longer vibration life… without the fear of it dying before you reach a big “O”.
  • DeLight is designed with ease of use in mind; the way the curves fit the body, with the handle upright and buttons directly under the thumb (no matter what you’re doing or how you’re using it), operating it in the moment is a piece of cake… especially since your not fiddling around trying to find buttons that you can’t see or a dial that’s way out of reach. Long story short: it’s ergonomic in a way many other vibrators aren’t.
  • Last but not least, it’s fucking stunning! Well in my opinion anyways. Oh, and let me also ad that pretty much every time I pick it up or look at it, I think of this, Deee-groovy! Deee-gorgeous!! Which is pretty kick ass in it’s own way.

Operating Instructions

When it comes to sex toys one of my biggest complaints is the fact that so many of them seem to require a degree of sorts to figure out how to operate them, and truthfully, I’m getting tired of it. I want my toys to be simple, easy to manipulate, and just as easy to figure out. If I get something and have to read an instruction manual, forget it. I just can’t be bothered. Fortunately most Fun Factory toys are pretty to the point, having minimal buttons and placing them in areas that are easily accessible when in the moment.

simple controls

DeLight is no exception, located on the top of the ‘handle’ are a “+” symbol, “-” symbol and the Fun Factory logo. To turn it on simply hold down the “+” button for 3 seconds and it quickly powers on, lighting up the logo and background with a red glow. To switch through the settings either press the “+” or “-” symbols, the “+” will increase the vibration and the “-” will lesson it, once on the highest setting just press the “+” button once more and it will jump through the various settings, to turn it off simply hold down the “-” button for 3 seconds and it should power down rather quickly.

For easy as it is to master there is one drawback, if you jump past the setting you like you have to cycle through them all over again since the “-” button doesn’t go backwards, instead jumping back to the steady vibration rather than a pattern.

As for the settings, you’ve got 5 to choose from including everything from pulsations, escalations, a random pulse/roller coaster, and a steady vibe. No matter what you’re looking for this quirky toy likely has it.

When it comes to recharging, place the circular charger over the small silver ‘dots’ (located on the back, just under the tip of the handle) and once magnetically connected, the charger will glow red.  Like the Yooo (another Fun Factory product), the charger will repel the connection unless it’s lined up correctly. With that in mind, make sure you place it on a flat surface where it won’t be disturbed – the connection tends to slip out of place, stopping the charge in the process (if at any time the glowing stops you’ll want to check for a disconnection – if it’s not disconnected, it’s stopped because it’s fully charged).

magnetic charger

The Bad

When it comes to things I don’t like about DeLight there are 4, though they aren’t that big of a deal – just things I think should be included so everyone is in the know:

  • The silicone end collects lint… but since almost every silicone toy does that, I’m not going to hold it against the DeLight specifically. I still hate that it does that though.
  • Depending on whether your g-spot sits shallow in the vaginal canal (closer to the opening) or a little farther back, the g-spot curve may or may not be right for you. If it’s shallow, you should be good. Otherwise, I’d suggest something like the G-Ki since trying to hit it may prove awkward.
  • Before I go on I just want to say that this isn’t necessarily an issue with the product, or something I don’t specifically dislike, though it is something I think would make it a whole bunch better: the upper portion of the product (i.e. the portion that touches your clitoris when tilted forward) doesn’t have an area that vibrates. Yes, you can feel the vibrations through the entire body of the vibe when it’s turned on, but for the most part they aren’t as strong as in the tip where the vibe is located. It might just be my opinion, but I personally think the addition of another vibrating area (where the vibrations were concentrated) would make the DeLight one hell of a dual stimulator. Sure it might mean more buttons, and maybe a bit of a thicker body, but if it means a better orgasm, I can deal with that.
  • The ‘extra bump’ designed to stimulate the clitoris is just stupid. Every friend I asked said there’s no way it would hit the area since theirs didn’t sit that low, if anything it would work better as a point of reference to know how deep the vibe is inserted. Survey says, “rename that portion”.

delight

Care & Cleaning

You can easily clean it with a toy wipe or by washing with antibacterial soap and warm water. While it is splash-proof I wouldn’t suggest fully submerging it as there’s a chance you’d kill it. I’d also suggest sticking with a good water based lube since a silicone version would likely ruin it over time.

Final Verdict

Even though 4 years has gone by since I first spied it (which is a long time in sex toy years), my much anticipated DeLight hasn’t let me down, remaining innovative, luxurious and high tech, rather than outdated or old. To be honest, I think it was far ahead of its time, and only now other companies are starting to catch up.

Review: Tantus Cush O2

Tantus Cush O2 ReviewFor as much as I tend to shy away from dildos, finding myself regularly opting to purchase and review vibrators instead, they never fail to impress with the level of pleasure they end up delivering. Sure, they lack the range of uses many vibrators provide, but all in all they offer something far better in its own amazing way: a distraction free fullness that’s hard for a vibrator to mimic.

When it came to choosing my next dildo for review I couldn’t help but be slightly intrigued by the Tantus Cush O2. There was something about the supposed soft cushy outer shaft, firm internal core, dual ridges and frosted white appearance that I just couldn’t resist. Fortunately the folks at SheVibe were kind enough to offer it up for review, allowing me to bask in the glory that is the Cush O2.

Packaging

The product came in a simple plastic bag which unfortunately isn’t much to write home about. However considering it was a product I was offered for review, rather than one I purchased, I’m pretty sure the one you’d get would be in the same transparent plastic box that most Tantus products come packaged in.

The Good

The good… shit, where do I begin?

First, it’s damn near everything I thought it would be and more. The outer layer is soft, squishy, supple and pliable, affording quite a bit of give and allowing the shaft to adjust to the body quite easily and comfortably. The inner core is firm but still flexible enough to make insertion a piece of cake even if the size is a bit of a challenge (lube is important with this dildo. Very important).  On that note, once inserted it’s this firmness that provides a fullness that’s pretty amazing and offers a sense of control many other dildos lack.

*For those that are curious about the O2 texture vs Vixskin, I personally found the Vixskin to be a tad more ‘realistic’ and squishy, even when appearance is taken out of the equation. Having said that, the Vixskin products I’ve felt also had a thinner outer layer which may be the cause of the difference. Either way they’re both fantastic, it’s just a matter of personal preference.

Second, whether it’s inserted and simply left to be, mounted and ground/gyrated on or used for thrusting action, the raised front ridges allow the shaft to stimulate the g-spot in an absolutely amazing way. For those that can take the entire length, the double ridging is something to behold as both will target the area with precision, hitting the g-spot in a wonderfully intense way.

*Tantus previously made another vibrator/dildo called the Deuce 1 which was not the dual-density material yet looked exactly the same as Cush (minus the outer layer of course). Unfortunately the rigid body made it a bit of a pain to use since there was no give or suppleness to it. The newer version, due to the inclusion of the O2 material, is much more comfortable, accommodating and easy to use.

Third, the base, while thin, allows it to be harness compatible, safe for use anally (if you can take the size) and great for placing on flat surfaces if you wanted to mount it. More than that, it provides a small area for the fingers to grasp while in use minimizing internal shifting/turning or loss of control.

Fourth, at 1.75″ in width and 5 1/2″ in circumference it’s rather girthy… again with that ‘full’ feeling. Yes, it’s pretty amazing.

Finally, because it’s made of quality silicone it warms to body temperature rather quickly and maintains it very well. Of course you could also cool it down if you wanted to, an option that would make temperature play a definite possibility.

Tantus Cush O2 Review

As for the rest of the good stuff…

The coloring is a thick frosty white matte that’s minimally translucent and gradually fades into a gradient purple. Because there are no ridges on the back (causing the outer layer to thin out) the inner core color is more pronounced, with the same being true for the base (it’s a deep luxurious purple rather than being a hint of color seen through the white). Of course this doesn’t make much difference when it comes to use, it’s simply aesthetic.

Regarding the stats you’re looking at 7″ in length, an insertable length of 6 3/4″, a circumference of 5 1/2″ and a width of 1.75″. With that in mind, Cush O2 is rather large and not for the faint of heart or those that like things on the small to average size of things. It’s big. It’s girthy. And fortunately, both of these attributes lend themselves well to those who like a feeling of fullness or simply like to challenge themselves. (Considering I’m more of an Amor girl, this was something I had to work up to with lots of patience and a little help from my Hitachi Magic Wand). Did I mention it’s also heavy? Because it is. And while it’s not T-Rex kind of heavy (that thing’s a BEAST!), coming in at 10 oz is nothing to laugh at.

When it comes to quality, you really couldn’t ask for more. Tantus only uses Platinum Grade silicone that’s hypoallergenic, hygienic, non-toxic, phthalate and latex free, virtually non porous (so it doesn’t absorb bodily fluids, lube or bacteria) and easy to care for and clean.

Cleaning & Care

Since it’s made of quality silicone you can wash it with anti-bacterial soap and water, boil it up to 600° Fahrenheit, bleach it with a 10% bleach solution, or simply put it in the top rack of your dishwasher…yes, I did say put it in the dishwasher.

As with all of the products Tantus makes you’ll want to use water based lubricants as a silicone lube will likely ruin it with time. If you’re dead set on using a silicone lube I’d suggest doing a patch test on the base of the dildo first. If it turns matte or ‘foggy’ don’t use it. If there’s no reaction you may be fine, I just wouldn’t chance it.

Cush O2 Review

scary ridges I grew to love

The Bad

When it comes to things I didn’t like there were a few…

It attracts lint like white on rice, something that for me is a major pet peeve. To avoid this I suggest you keep it away from any surface that has pet hair, lint, fluff or anything else that could be picked up. When it comes to storing I suggest either placing it inside a bag, lint free cloth or box with a lid.

For as much as I grew to love the ridging on the shaft it did pose a bit of a problem in the beginning: the first quarter of the shaft was easy to insert, however once I hit that first raised ridge the trouble started… then pop! in it went (fortunately the second ridge wasn’t as intense). This happened the first couple times it was used, after that I knew what to expect, granting me the opportunity to relax enough to allow it to enter with ease. #MindOverMatterOrSexToy

Because the silicone used is more of a matte than a glossy texture you’ll likely need quite a bit of lube to get things going, otherwise you’ll likely find that there is a bit of drag on the skin which could be uncomfortable during insertion.

Finally, it’s on the larger side which may make it a slight challenge for some. Of course that’s going to depend on you and your body and isn’t something that will be an issue for everyone.

Final Verdict

Although the size was a bit much for me in the beginning, the Cush is definitely a dildo I’d recommend to anyone who’s not afraid of a potential challenge. Not only is it made of body safe and luxurious materials that are also supple, squishy and accommodating, the Tantus Cush O2 has all the bases covered. Sure, it has its faults too, but so do some of the most expensive and high end sex toys on the market. At least the potential issues with Cush can be easily solved with lube, great storage and a little bravery and relaxation on the users part.

Review: Rainbow Amor Dildo

Rainbow Dildo Review

UPDATE: The Rainbow Amor is no longer being made, however there are now a whole bunch of other Rainbow Sex Toys available! Simply click this link to read all about them.

When I first saw this stunning rainbow dildo online I was seriously floored.  Whether that was because it was the very first rainbow colored intimate accessory I’d ever seen (that actually looked good and was a legit rainbow), or because it was an exact replica of my fave Fun Factory dildo is anyone’s guess. All I know is the moment I saw it, I had to have it. Like, in my toy box as of yesterday had to have it.

Thanks to the wonderful folks at Babeland  this pretty little dildo was in my hands in less than a week, shipped discreetly no less, and was definitely something worth waiting for.

*The reason it looks exactly like my fave dildo is because it was made by the same manufacturer, Fun Factory, with the rainbow version being specifically made for Babeland (in limited numbers) – which is why it’s the only place you can currently get it.

Packaging

This amazing and beautifully colored dildo comes packaged in the ‘standard’ Fun Factory easily recycled box, with nothing on it that’s rude offensive, inappropriate or tacky. A see-through window allows you to view the product, while the outer external box is silver and red, displays a basic diagram of the product with it’s benefits and features on one side and a written description listed in 4 languages on the opposite. It’s simple, easy to understand and with the exception of the words ‘dildo’ and ‘g-spot’ has nothing sexually explicit on it.

Rainbow Dildo

No bleeding of colours

The Goods

While there are many reasons to love it – it’s crafted from 100% medical grade silicone, shaped to be comfortable, and has a flared base for various uses – the main one is obviously the rainbow coloring. Fortunately in person it’s just as fantastic as the pictures online show, being bright, bold, impressive and exceptionally well delivered; each color is clearly defined with no ‘bleeding’ or gradient flow into the next (as pictured left).

As for the texture, the high quality silicone is very smooth, has a matte finish, is somewhat squishy and offers a bit of give while also maintaining a firmness that’s flexible and exceptionally comfortable. The base is likewise flexible but firm, allowing it to be compatible with most strap-on harnesses or used anally without the possibility of being lost inside you. While it does have a slight bit of drag on the skin it’s not something a little bit of good water based lube wouldn’t fix.

*even though I was afraid of being disappointed I inflicted the ‘flame test’, to which it thankfully passed. High quality silicone for the win!

Design wise it’s semi realistic and resembles a smoothed-out erect penis (think of the posterize effect in photoshop). The rounded and slightly pointed tip makes insertion easy and the short shaft with a gentle curve provides a small amount of g-spot stimulation during thrusting. While the curve isn’t much to write home about, it’s far better than a straight design that offers little to no contact with the g-spot. Regarding the stats you’re looking a length of 5 1/2 inches and a girth of around 5 inches (by my own measurements) and a width of 1 1/2 inches, that in mind, I think anyone could use it and not be intimidated or overwhelmed. If g-spot stimulation or thrusting isn’t quite your thing, instead preferring the ‘fullness’ dildo’s provide, this fit the bill nicely.

*Just keep in mind that although extremely amazing, you may need something else – be it a clitoral vibe, fingers or the tongue of a partner to help you reach a climax, especially when you take into consideration that over 70% of women require clitoral stimulation to achieve an orgasm. If that sounds like you, don’t worry, you’re clearly not alone.

Care And Cleaning

Because the Rainbow Amor Dildo is made of a high quality silicone it can be easily cleaned using soap, water and a good rinsing.  As for lubes I’d only suggest a good water based lube, and if you have issues with reoccurring yeast infections, one that’s sugar and/or glycerin free would be a good idea.

*Since it’s made of medical grade silicone it won’t absorb bodily fluids, lube or bacteria and therefore doesn’t require the heavy cleaning other product my need.

Marbled Amor (my original love) vs Rainbow Amor (my new love)

The Bad

Fortunately there really isn’t much for me to complain about, sure the drag on the skin is a little annoying (lube fixes the problem nicely) and it kind of attracts lint (not nearly as bad as many others), but that’s really the only issues I found. Both of which really aren’t that big of a deal.

Final Verdict

I don’t really know what I can write here that I haven’t already said. From the moment I got it I loved it and having now ‘sampled the goods’ I find myself loving it even more,  especially since it has everything – and I do mean everything – I look for: it’s made of high quality silicone, is easy to insert (with the help of a little lube), is the perfect length and girth for my body, is seamless, can be used with a harness, has a bit of give making it exceptionally comfortable, is easy to care for and clean, and best of all…comes in a rainbow!!

If you’re looking for a fantastic, body safe dildo that’s quite possibly one of the only rainbow versions on the market, look no further, you’ve hit the motherload! If you’d prefer the same high quality product, minus the rainbow (that’s just crazy talk!!), the dildo also comes in a pink, orange or black version, or the larger Magnum with a total length of 7 inches. No matter what you decide I’m pretty sure you’ll be just as impressed as I am with mine.

Review: Le Reve Vibe

While on a hunt for affordable, body safe, powerful, quiet and easy to use g-spot products I cam across Pipedreams Le Reve Vibe and quickly requested it from the generous folks at SexToy.com. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect as my experiences with some previous Pipedreams products have left much to be desired, however considering all the benefits and features it seemed to offer I just couldn’t help but satisfy my curiosity. Fortunately I was quite pleasantly surprise, with the product far exceeding my expectations.

Packaging

The Le Reve comes packaged in a rectangular black box with white and red writing that sports the name and image of the product on all four sides. The back has a brief write up that includes wording like “g-spot stimulation”, “direct clitoral stimulation” and “nipple or breast play” which may cause you to want to hide it as soon as it arrives. If direct wording like this causes you to blush just remember, it’s a box that can be easily thrown out.

The Goods

The product measures 7″ – 8″ overall with 6″ of that being insertable (it’s hard to measure due total length to the curve). The rounded tip, which makes insertion both comfortable and easy, starts out just over 1″ in diameter and gently widens to a bit over 1-1/2″ at the widest point.  The material is a hard non porous ABS plastic that’s exceptionally smooth and very shiny but has absolutely no squish, give or flexibility.  If you’re looking for something firm, without wanting to buy glass, metal or any other hard material, a product made out of ABS plastic like this one is definitely a good option.

Because the material is so firm applying pressure to the g-spot is relatively easy and keeping the pressure applied with the rounded tip is surprisingly comfortable. Whether you use it to steadily press against the area, as something to gently thrust or use in a rocking motion is totally up to you. Keep in mind that with a product like this all the options are possible and do a pretty good job or stimulating the area, you just may have to do a little work to find an angle and method that works for you and your body.

If g-spot stimulation doesn’t really work (or if you’ve had a hard time finding yours and just want to give up and enjoy the moment) the curved design is great for easily targeting the clitoris, labia or entire vulva without having to worry about a possible arm or hand cramp. Not getting enough foreplay from your partner? No worries, you can easily use the product to run over both bodies with ease, taunting and teasing in the process. The only thing I’d advise against is anal play as there is no base on it to keep it from ‘getting lost’.

When it comes to operating the product there’s only two buttons to worry about, both of which are located on the flattened base making adjusting the speeds relatively easy. The + (plus) button allows you to turn it on and run through the 5 different speeds, the – (minus) button goes back down through the speeds and finally turns the product off.  Pretty simple if you ask me.

The vibrations speeds begin at a low deep rumble that carry the entire length of the product with each one after that becoming both stronger and more intense. It’s not Hitachi Magic Wand strong, but not everything is supposed to be. If you’re sensitive or require low frequency vibrations it may be too strong for you. On the other hand, if you lean more toward a rumbling vibration, one that penetrates deeply when inserted this just might be the one for you.

Fortunately this is one of the quieter vibes I’ve had the pleasure of trying, being something I’m sure you could use without arousing the suspicion of roommates or anyone in the next room, especially when it’s muffled under the sheets.

Care and Cleaning

Keeping the product in good shape is relatively easy, just make sure to wash it well with soap and water or use an antibacterial toy cleaner. As for lubes, you could use anything your heart desires though I’d personally only suggest a water based lube as a silicone or oil based one can sometimes be hard to clean up.

Changing the batteries is very simple, just twist the bottom cap, slide out the battery case, pop 2 AAA batteries in place, slide it back in and twist on the cap.

The Bad

Although I did like the product quite a bit there were some issues I did have with it;

1.)    Because it’s made of a sleek hard plastic maintaining a hold on it can be rather difficult, especially when being used by someone with lubed hands. It puts a whole new meaning on the words slip n’ slide.

2.)    If you’re someone that enjoys heavy thrusting the hard plastic and curve may make it rather difficult, if not to mention at times slightly painful. No squish or ‘give’ often equals a bruised cervix if you’re too rough.

3.)    It requires batteries. For some of you that may not be that big of a deal, but considering that they can corrode and kill your toy, require replacement which costs more money and can sometimes die when you’re on your way from A – O I tend to avoid battery operated products. Call me spoiled, I don’t care.

Final Verdict

When I first spotted the Le Reve Vibe I really didn’t know what to expect, and judging by my previous experiences with Pipedreams products I figured it would be either a hit or miss situation. Fortunately for me it was pleasantly surprising and quickly became a product I’d highly suggest for those of you on a budget that still want to get your hands on something worthwhile.

That said, if you’re looking for a multi purpose vibe that also has multiple speeds, is quiet, ergonomically shaped, surprisingly powerful, easy to use, comfortable and waterproof the Le Reve Vibe shouldn’t be overlooked.
