Review: Crystal Delights Frosted Plug

Frosted Crystal Delights Butt Plug

Back in 2010 I was sent my very first set of  handcrafted Swarovski embedded Crystal Delights products, a small and large butt plug, so I could provide a comparative review and offer some insight to the difference in sizes.  To say I was wowed, impressed or totally blown away by the craftsmanship, beauty and ease of use would be a huge understatement.

Now, almost two years later, I’ve been fortunate enough to get my hands on two of their newer frosted designs; a small frosted plug with a rose Swarovski Crystal (pictured left) and a larger Star Delight Frosted Dildo with a powder blue Swarovski Crystal, both of which have left me totally awestruck.

*for this review I’ll be covering the frosted plug, with a review on the amazing dildo to follow shortly.

Packaging

Unlike many other intimate accessories that come packaged in a plastic clam shell or cardboard box, the Crystal Delight plug comes rolled within a lovely black fabric pouch that’s pretty, elegant and discreet (pictured right). Since the pouch doesn’t bare any logos or written info it’s hard to tell exactly what it’s for, allowing it to be used for pretty much anything you choose. Fortunately it’s also slightly bigger than the plug giving you the option of also storing a few extras like condoms or a small bottle of lube. The outer layer of fabric is satiny, with a Damask design, while the inner layer is smooth and luxurious.

Swarovski Plug

Plug w/ Pouch

*I absolutely love the fact that it can be reused rather than being tossed in the garbage unlike most other packaging – #ecofriendlyforthewin

When it comes to cleaning the pouch you can simply give it a wash in cold water and line dry it. As for the material you’re looking at an outer layer of 60% Rayon/40% Polyester and an internal lining of 100% Nylon.

I know there are going to be quite a few of you that are looking at these and thinking ‘glass in my ass? No way!’, so before I go on about how much I love the plug I’m just going to suggest you head over to my original Crystal Delights review and take a gander at the great benefits and features Pyrex glass products have to offer. And while I’m at it, just let me state for the record that they’re far better than any porous jelly product you’d cram in your ass without thinking twice about how gross and unsafe they are.

You’re also probably going to assume that because the plugs are made of glass they might be a tad dangerous; so long as you don’t drop them or slam them against a wall I (but really, why would you be doing that?!) they will hold up to quite a bit of wear and tear. Trust me, I should know – I’ve accidentally dropped all of mine a couple times now  and not one has a chip or crack in it.

The Good

Unlike the previous versions I was sent, the frosted plug is not clear, instead being a slightly transparent white finish that turns almost transparent upon coming into contact with any kind of fluid. It’s this finish that gives it an almost velvety feel while still being wonderfully smooth.  As expected it’s hard with absolutely no squish or give, duh it is glass, allowing it to provide an amazing sensation of fullness once inserted.

Regarding the shape, the head is bulbous (rather than being tapered and elongated like the clear version – as pictured in the third from left image below), giving it a slight resemblance to a pawn from a chess set. At first I thought this would cause it to be difficult to insert and/or slightly uncomfortable, but to my surprise that just wasn’t the case; because the head is rounded there was a slight resistance at first, then ‘pop!’ in it went, with the rounded head helping it to stay in place without issue – if you’re tired of fighting with objects to stay in place, this should be a wonderful reprieve. The glass  also provides some weight to it, so it’s not a product you won’t be able to feel or wonder if it’s in. I gotta admit, the comfortable fullness it offers is pretty exceptional.

Having said that this isn’t something I would suggest to someone who is new to inserting anything anally as the shape and design may be a tad overwhelming, especially for someone that is tense or fearing it may hurt (to help ease any fears about anal play I suggest viewing my post/video: Butt Play Tips For Beginners). If on the other hand you’ve explored anally and liked the experience the Crystal Delights plugs are definitely worth splurging on.

Stats: Length – 3.3 inches, insertable length 2.7 inches, width 1.4 inches, weight 3.9 ounces

*While most would assume they can only be used anally I’d like to suggest vaginal use; with its bulbous head the plug has the ability to provide great g-spot/vaginal stimulation and/or pressure in all the right places.  If you are going to be using them anally I suggest you use a very good quality lube as the anus, unlike the vagina, does not self lubricate which can make insertion rather difficult.  If you are going to be using them vaginally just remember; you can go from front to back, just not back to front.

Piece Du Resistance

When I got my first set of plugs I was a little worried the Swarovski Crystal might fall out or come loose, sadly I had the same fears about the new products.  Like before I started picking at the seam and ran my finger over every edge to test if it was sharp, not surprisingly the Crystal stayed in place and the surface was smooth with absolutely no jagged edges. I really should know better by now. I mean, the company is known for quality and no one has ever had a complaint about losing the Crystals or being hurt.

As for the actual Swarovski Crystal, it’s breathtaking. Seriously, the pictures I took don’t do it justice. The rose color shines and sparkles even in dim lighting, something I really didn’t expect. Whether it’s one of their Pleasure Paddles, dildos, or large variety of glass butt plugs, I think everyone deserves at least one of their products.  After all, there really isn’t anything more luxurious than these, especially when compared to other luxurious and far more expensive products that see little use past the initial ‘oh wow it’s pretty‘ moment – you’ll use these, you really will!

Old vs New Crystal Delights Packaging

Old vs New Packaging

The Bad

I really didn’t have anything to complain about regarding the actual plug, but having said that, in comparison to the original clear version it is a tad harder to find the tip of the product when it’s behind you and you can’t see it as it was much more rounded and bulbous, making the original a bit easier to insert. Once in place there really isn’t much difference to the feel, I just know that for some people inserting a product anally can be a bit nerve wracking and overwhelming so the easier the better.

Unfortunately I did have one small complaint about the packaging; while it is discreet, luxurious, easy to clean, and highly aesthetically appealing, the new pouch isn’t as thickly padded as the previous velvety version my other plugs came wrapped in. Do I think it will still protect them? certainly, but for clutzy peeps like me the added padding puts a person a bit more at ease. Having said that, the outer Rayon shell of the new version is so much better since it doesn’t attract lint or pet hair like the other one did.

Care & Cleaning

In regard to cleaning the plug nothing could be easier; you can simply wash it with soap and water, spray it with toy cleaner or wipe it with an anti bacterial cleansing cloth. No mater what you do you don’t have to worry as the glass won’t absorb any lube, bodily fluids or bacteria.

When it comes to caring for your plug, just keep it safely tucked away inside the padded cover and it should be perfectly fine.

Final Verdict

If you’re looking for a durable plug that’s made of body safe materials that’s free of any harsh chemicals that could leach into your system, while also being eco-friendly, luxurious, non-porous (a big deal when it comes to butt toys), easy to care for and clean, comfortable once in place, warms quickly to body temperature and can be used for temperature play (warm and cool water only, boiling or freezing it may be too much to your body), made to last a lifetime and worth every penny you’d spend, not to mention being embedded with a genuine Swarovski Crystal (with 9 different colors to choose from might I add!), the ones made by Crystal Delights are definitely something I’d highly suggest you add to your list of wants/needs.

Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. They really are that amazing.

To take a look at all of the products within the Crystal Delights collection I suggest you head over to their website where shopping for intimate accessories is easy, discreet and your privacy is of utmost importance.

Review: Vixen Creations – Buddy Butt Plug

Vixen Creations BuddyWhile revising a bunch of reviews a month ago I came to the realization that my inclusion of butt plugs and anal toys was seriously lacking. Sure, I’ve covered the basics of anal play, but with the exception of reviewing an anal douche and a Swarovski butt plug, I really haven’t branched out very much.

Always one for pushing limits and trying something new, I took it upon myself to grab a few goodies just so I could review them for all of you. Included in the mix was a small black Tantus silk, Vixen Creations Buddy in the ‘must have’ limited edition glittery silver, a fantastically neon green Tantus Ryder and a rather intimidatingly large set of Tantus butt beads in an awe inducing neon blue called “Peacock” (they were on sale and I couldn’t help myself). For today’s review I’ll be covering the Vixen Creations Buddy… and working myself up to the beads through the series of reviews that cover the others. As it stands, my ass is nowhere near ready to take them at this point. To follow my progress the reviews make sure to subscribe to my RSS feed or add me on twitter as I’ll be tweeting the hell out of them once the reviews are done.

Packaging

One of the things I loved about a previous Vixen Creations product I reviewed (Tex) was the unexpected and highly original tubular packaging. Not only is it quite different from many other boxed or clam shell designs (that often get tossed in the garbage once the product is removed), it’s very easy to store and meant to be reused. Even better, there’s ample room inside to store a small bottle of lube, some condoms and any other little sample sized products you might have lying around. As with many other high end intimate accessories there is nothing on it that’s rude, crude, tacky or cheap, instead only offering a brief description of the Companies products and cleaning/care instructions. There’s also the adorable fox logo I’ve come to love, but that’s it. *For those of you that value total discretion the sticker can be removed so there’s literally nothing on it.

The Good

As I expected there’s quite a bit to love with Buddy; first and foremost the silicone is highly squishy, supple, smooth and flexible making it very accommodating and surprisingly comfortable. More than that, once inserted it doesn’t create that awkward “get-it-out-of-my-ass-now” sensation many other firm products beget.

Speaking of silicone, Buddy is non-toxic, phthalate and latex free, odourless, tasteless, hypo-allergenic, hygienic, and non-porous so it doesn’t require the same heavy duty cleaning a TPR, TPE or PVC product may require.

*For the record I don’t suggest anything but non-porous materials for anal play as they’ll store bacteria, lube and bodily fluids every time they’re used. Even worse, they can’t be fully sterilized. Yuck. Vixen Creations Buddy

The tapered tip and graduated body makes insertion effortless, allowing it to slide in place without any discomfort or force. Of course relaxing a bit before helps, as does a small amount of good water based lube. Quite surprisingly the rounded thicker lower portion allows it to stay in place nicely once inserted, adjusting with the body as you shift, flex or move. For me it was a nice change from my Small Ripple whose last rounded bulb I often struggle to keep in place (it always ‘pops’ out right before I’m about to orgasm*).

Size wise it’s not too big and not too small, instead being just right. I personally think it’s the size that makes it suitable for just about everyone; whether you’re inexperienced and afraid rear insertion might hurt or familiar with anal play but not in need of something too girthy or long, you’ll likely find Buddy to be a worthy contender. Actually, I was rather surprised when I got it as I expected it would be larger than the 4″ inches in length and 1 1/4″ in diameter it sports (it’s 3 1/2″ insertable). Even with looking at the measurements online I still thought it would be bigger and much closer to the Medium Tantus Silk, clearly I’m not good with mentally picturing inches in my head. Having said that, while it’s relatively small, by no means is it lacking in the sensation department. You’ll feel it, all of it, it just likely won’t come with the ‘full’ feeling a larger plug would offer.

Fortunately the base makes removal easy, and fits between the butt cheeks without being annoying or painful. On top of all that it’s seamless leaving you worry free when it comes to potential internal scrapes or scratches.  On that note, because it’s got a flared base it’s also compatible with most harnesses, though I don’t know if it’s the kind of product I’d want to use for strap-on play. Then again, wtf do I know?

*Regarding the orgasm part, while it is a possibility, very rarely do women get off from anal play alone. Instead many will also require clitoral play or something inserted vaginally to aide in the experience. Having said that, if you’ve previously crammed something in your butt thinking it would be the end all, be all, only to find yourself coming short, don’t worry you’re perfectly normal and it’s to be expected.

Finally, it’s got silver sparkles so your ass is all blinged up and glittery. That in itself makes it worthy of putting in my butt.

All jokes aside (who says I was joking?), the body is transparent and glossy with layer upon layer of exceptionally shiny silver square sparkles.  Even when looking deep within the body they’re there, less shiny of course, but still there. I actually have no idea how they did it, but you can’t feel any of the sparkles on the surface, something that totally surprised me. I even tried to gently pick one out, didn’t happen.  For those not impressed with sticking sparkly things in your rear it also comes in gold, black and purple versions.

Care And Cleaning

Because it’s a high quality silicone and not some shady mix of silicone and who-knows-what it can be easily cleaned with soap and water or by boiling for 3 minutes. Regarding lubes I’d only suggest a good water based lube as a silicone one would likely ruin it over time.

The Bad

When it came to things I didn’t like about Buddy there was only one, but being that it’s a silicone product that’s somewhat glossy it was highly expected: it attracts lint and fluff, but it’s minimal when compared to other silicone products.

Final Verdict

If you’re looking for a butt plug made of body safe material that’s easy to insert, supple, squishy and flexible, while also being comfortable, accommodating and surprisingly discreet I highly suggest taking the Vixen Creations Buddy into consideration. Aside from being impressed with the basic design, the level of quality will probably leave you looking through the entire Vixen Creations collection and wondering which will be your next. Yes, they are that good! *I’ve personally had my eyes on Raquel, Mavrick and  Tristan.

Colt Anal Douche Review

coltEvery time I talk about butt sex, ass toys, or anything to do with anuses, I get bombarded with questions about anal douching/enemas. While some ask the basic question “is it really necessary?”, I’m most commonly asked what the process is, if it hurts, if it’s messy and what product(s) work best.

It was this continual prompting that lead me to try the Colt Anal Douche so that I could finally do a review for all of you.

To be honest, I’ve always been curious about douches/enemas and thought this would be a perfect opportunity to try one out. As for the debate regarding whether or not it’s necessary, I suggest you read this article by the wonderful people at Scarleteen – then decide for yourself.

Packaging

Colt Anal DoucheLike the majority of the products in the Colt line (by California Exotics) the packaging isn’t the most discreet. The left side is filled with a picture of a chiseled man in a Speedo, clenching his giant bubble butt while flexing his back muscles for all the world to see. If that isn’t enough to make you giggle, or recoil in embarrassment, the words “ANAL DOUCHE” are listed across every side of the box,  giving anyone within eye shot a pretty good idea of what the product is.

If you live with roommates, family, friends or a partner and don’t want them knowing you’re using this type of product I suggest you toss out the box as soon as it arrives.

The Goods

Colt Anal Douche Nozzle 1 As for the actual product it comes in 3 pieces; a flexible rubber bottom that looks like the bulb from a Turkey baster, a long thin nozzle that is very thin, and another long rippled nozzle add-on for “personal pleasure”. In total there are actually 4 pieces, since the rounded top of the rippled add-on is removable to make cleaning easier.

Why they made  the rounded tip removable, rather than just putting a hole in the end, I have no idea. Sure it means you can clean it, but if there was no seam where *stuff* could get lodged, you wouldn’t need to clean it to begin with. Other than that, it just seems silly and dangerous considering that if it wasn’t screwed in properly it might “get lost” inside you or if used in a rough matter, could scrape during insertion or removal.

The rubber bulb measures just over 4 inches in length and can hold up to 1 cup of water. It’s relatively easy to squeeze (when full or empty), feels smooth and is pretty thick, making tearing it something you wouldn’t need to worry about.

This product does contain latex so if you are highly allergic you may want to look for other options.

colt 2The thin, body safe ABS nozzle measures 3 inches in total length, (2 inches insertable) and is only 5 cm in width making insertion quick and painless. The  ribbed nozzle measures around 6 inches in total length (including the flared base), although it’s only 4 inches insertable. It has a width of about 10 cm making it slightly larger and less comfortable for a beginner. (based on my experience anyways)

Putting the basic parts together is extremely easy: place the base of the thin nozzle into the rubber bulb and push/twist it together until it fits snugly, voila you’re done. Seriously, it’s that easy. If you wanted to add the ripple part it fits over the thin nozzle and once in place, seems to stay together rather well.

Even if it did come off while anally inserted the rippled part has a slightly flared base which could prevent it from getting stuck inside you.

Cleanliness is next to …

Rather than go into detail about my usage of the Colt Anal Douche, I’m going to answer the questions I’m commonly asked using my experience with the product in mind;

What is the process?

Using the product is pretty simple and much easier than expected; just fill the bulb with warm water by using one of two methods;

I suggest using warm/room temperature water rather than hot or cold as you’ll be less likely to shock your system.

1.) Pour the fluid directly in the opening of the bulb until full. Gently (over a sink) insert the base of the nozzle being careful not to squeeze the bulb. While it is a little more difficult, doing it this way limits the amount of air trapped inside the bulb.

2.) Submerge the tip of the nozzle in a clean cup/bowl/pot of water while squeezing the bulb. Allow the bulb to completely fill with fluid by relaxing the pressure on the bulb (think of using a Turkey baster). This is the easier way, however I found that it also lead to more air being trapped inside the bulb which could later be pushed inside the user, leading to gas and cramping.

After making sure that there is no air in the bulb, the nozzle is well lubed and you’ve taken the time to relax, insert the nozzle in the area to be cleaned (your anus)  and gently squeeze the bulb until either you feel “full” or all the water has been drained. When you feel comfortable remove the nozzle from your body. Some people will feel the need to expel the water right away, others might be able to hold it for tad longer. Since I’m all about comfort, do what feels best for you. Keep repeating this process until the water runs clear.

Does it hurt?

With the Colt Anal Douche as my first experience, my answer is no. Of course the fact that the nozzle was thin helped, as did the large amount of lube used and level of relaxation I created. That said, it wasn’t the most ‘comfortable’ experience, didn’t necessarily feel good and definitely took a little getting used to.

The thin nozzle was far more comfortable and easier to insert than the ribbed one.

Is it messy?

In total I’ve used the product 5 separate times, 4 with the thin nozzle and 1 with the ribbed nozzle; every time the thin nozzle was used there was no mess, the one time the ribbed nozzle was used water ended up ‘leaking’ everywhere. That was enough for me to decide I didn’t like it. I haven’t tried the ribbed nozzle again and I don’t really intend to, not only was it messy, but contrary to what the box said, it wasn’t very ‘pleasurable’ either.

I used the product out of curiosity, wanting to have enough experience to ‘review’ it properly/honestly and due to a health issue (constipation), not for butt sex. If you do choose to use a douche/enema before intercourse make sure to wait a few hours so that the discomfort and/or irritation you may experience will be minimal.

Care & Cleaning

Cleaning the product is relatively easy, just wash all the parts with an anti-bacterial soap and make sure to rinse them well. When everything is dry store it in a cool place until next time.

Colt Anal Douche NozzleThe Bad

The majority of my complaints are with the packaging and not so much the product. I don’t think an image of a muscular man clad in underwear was necessary, nor do I think having the words “ANAL DOUCHE” written in capitals and plastered all over the box was needed.

As for the product, maybe it’s because I’m not used to having stuff in my butt but the ribbed nozzle was uncomfortable and not something I think a beginner could insert very easily. The latex may be an issue for those with allergies and  the removable tip seemed rather stupid – like I said, they should have just put a hole in the end.

Other than that, it didn’t come with any detailed instructions for use or safety precautions so I had to go hunting online.

Final Verdict

While I do think there are things that could be changed, I can also see how the Colt Anal Douche might be a pretty decent product for a beginner; it’s easy to use, lightweight, comfortable to hold, body safe, affordable, easy to put together, has a flared base so parts can’t get ‘lost’ and most importantly – it does the job.

That said, if you’re looking for something a little more high end, that gives you more control and is better quality you might want to check out the Cloud 9 Premium Shower Kit – Deluxe Enema & Douche. I’ve heard really great things about it from friends. However, if you’re on a budget and don’t want to spend a fortune this a pretty good option.

To get more info, purchase the product, or see other options when it comes to anal douche kits, make sure to check out PinkCherry where shopping is discreet, easy and highly affordable.

If you’d like more info on the safety, necessity or all around info on anal douching/enemas I suggest you check this link.

Review: Crystal Delights Clear Plug

Thanks to the folks at Sex Toy.com and Crystal Delights I was sent 2 of the most discreet and prettiest butt toys I’ve ever laid my eyes on. For a girl who’s seen oodles of sex toys, that’s saying something!

From the moment I got my Crystal Delights plugs out of the shipping box I was impressed; not only did they come wrapped in pretty tissue paper but they also came with 3 condoms, a packet of lube and a plush, velvety and padded storage bag for safe keeping. Quite a nice touch on their part!

As for the products, I was sent the handcrafted Red Magma (large) and Fuchsia (small) butt plug so that I could do comparative review of the sizes and get a better idea of the type of quality they offer.

Upon viewing them out of the package one would assume they are just like any other glass product on the market, however it is the bottom or base of these products that really makes them shine – literally!

Embedded in the base of the product is a shiny, sparkly, glittery and truly stunning genuine 100% Swarovski Crystal. Yes you heard me right, a Swarovski Crystal!!  Talk about jewelery for your butt!

I’ll be honest, I don’t think there are words to describe just how pretty the plugs are in person, they really are stunning!

The Good

Besides being beautiful the Crystal Delights line of products are also possibly one of the most discreet. Not only do they not look like a sex toy but they are something that could be left out by accident (or on purpose) without the worry of raising any suspicion.

That said, if you’re like me and love sparkly, shiny, glittery or pretty things…you need one!

When I first got them I was slightly worried that the Crystal might fall out or easily come loose. However, on closer inspection (some picking at the seams to satisfy my curiosity and a broken nail later) I came to realize they are firmly in place. Rest assured they are not going anywhere.

Aside from that, I was also worried that the Crystal might be sharp and therefore dangerous. Yet to my pleasant surprise, even with the various angles on the crystal it is wonderfully smooth and soft; features that can definitely be credited to the quality that only Swarovski can offer.

As for using them, one of the great things with the Crystal Delights line of products is the wide flared base they have which allows them to be inserted anally without much fear of them “getting lost”.  Aside from that, because they are non porous you can use them without the worry of them getting “dirty” or absorbing any bacteria.

*If you are going to be using them anally I suggest you use a very good quality lube as the anus, unlike the vagina, does not self lubricate which can make insertion rather difficult.

While most people assume that plugs can only be used anally I’d also like to offer the option of vaginal use. With its bulbous head the Crystal Delights line of products have the ability to provide great g-spot stimulation and/or pressure right where you need it.

*If you are going to be using them vaginally just remember; you can go from front to back, just not back to front.

Benefits of Glass Sex Toys

As for the actual plug, it is made of a beautifully clear, smooth, shiny and quite hard Pyrex glass; the same material that all high end, glass sex toys are made of.  For those of you that don’t know much about Pyrex glass and the amazing benefits that come with it let me fill you in (no pun intended;)

*It takes more than 1,500 lbs of pressure to bend (snap) a 1″ bar of Borosilicate (Pyrex) glass. Crush weight is somewhere in the range of 8 tonnes!

*If you like the feeling of warmth Pyrex glass can be heated up in various ways; you can let it sit in a cup of hot water, place it inside a heating pad, place it your windowsill on a sunny day or held in your hands until it warms to your body temperature.

*If the feeling of something cold is more your thing you can place it in the fridge, freezer, let it sit in a cup of cold water or wrap it in a gel ice pack.

*Like high quality silicone, Pyrex glass is non porous which means it won’t absorb any bacteria, lube, oils, bodily fluids or anything else it might come into contact with. Suffice to say it is very hygienic.

*Because it’s made of glass (and is non porous) you can use pretty much any lube that you want without any fear of ruining it.

If you’re like most people you’re probably going to assume that because the plugs are made of glass they might be a tad dangerous; so long as you don’t drop them or slam them against a wall I (but really, why would you be doing that) they will hold up to quite a bit of wear and tear.

*The first day that I got mine I accidentally dropped it while opening the package. To my surprise and delight it was perfectly fine; no chips, cracks, breaks or damage was done. That said, even if you drop it, you might still be pleasantly surprised with its durability.

Also on that note, for those of you that are afraid it might break while in your bottom I just want to offer that Pyrex glass can withstand up to 8 tonnes of pressure, so unless your sphincter is the “Super Sphincter of the Universe” I think you’re okay.

Product Differences

In regard to the difference in size between the products I have this to offer;

When I initially got the larger one out of the box I was a little nervous and thought it to be rather big; measuring 4 ½ inches in length, the larger version is an inch and a half larger then the smaller version, coming in at only 3 ½ inches.

Other then that the bulbous head of the larger version is also quite a bit longer then that of the smaller version measuring 2 ½ inches compared to the 2 inches of the smaller version. For some of you that half an inch might not seem like much, but if you aren’t very experienced it can be the difference between pain and pleasure.

I also found that the connector between the base and head of the longer version was thinner but longer then that of the smaller plug which was much smaller, but a little fatter.

That said, for those of you that are new to anal toys or play I would suggest that you start with the smaller one, then when you feel ready to move up in the “ass toy world” purchase the larger version. Doing it this way gives your body the time it needs to get accustomed to having something inserted, making the larger version easier to use and less painful when the time does come.

Care & Cleaning

In regard to cleaning the plug nothing could be easier; wash it with soap and water, spray it with toy cleaner or wipe it with an anti bacterial cleansing cloth.  No mater what you do you don’t have to worry as it won’t absorb any residue, nor ruin your plug.

When it comes to caring for your plug, just keep it safely tucked away inside the padded cover and it should be perfectly fine.

Final Verdict

All in all I think the Crystal Delights plug is a product that is not only stunning (thanks to a gorgeous Swarovski Crystal!) but also very discreet, easy to use, body safe, environmentally friendly and made to last! Personally, I love them!

For those of you interested the Crystal Delights line of products can be purchased safely and discretely from both SexToy.com or Crystal Delights where you’ll find a large selection of Vibrators and other great sex toys.

Remember guys, if you support me and what I do please also support the sponsors. The more you support them, the more willing they will be to support me and send such fantastic products my way…without them, I have no way of showing you what’s worthy of your time and hard earned cash. Trust me, I know just how much crap there in on the market…kick ass products like the ones I get to showcase for all of you are few and far between!

Anal Sex Tips for Beginners

Anal Sex TipsThe discomfort you may encounter during first time anal sex could be minimum or very intense depending on how relaxed you are. It’s for this reason that I created these anal sex tips, all designed to help make things a bit more comfortable and fun.

Anal Sex Tips For Beginners

Take Your Time & Relax

I personally suggest taking some time to warm up before engaging in full anal penetration; do some relaxing breathing exercises, meditate if need be, and get comfortable with your partner.

Anal Sex Tips: Sliquid Silver Silicone LubeOnce you’re relaxed and feel ready, get out the lube and apply a large amount to your butt hole. Once lubed up take a finger or a lube shooter and use it to insert some internally. This will allow for easier penetration and once inserted, much less friction. When I say a lot I mean A LOT! Don’t be stingy, unlike the vagina, the anus does not self lubricate, so the more you apply the better.

Remember, the more relaxed you are more relaxed your muscles will be, which will allow for the proper insertion of a toy, finger or penis with less discomfort.

After you’ve added the lube, add a finger and just a finger; the anus has a very tight opening and trying to insert a penis can be a shock to the system. Going too fast too soon can cause you to tense up, leading to a painful experience rather then a enjoyable one. If you’re not careful and don’t listen to your body there can be tearing of the sphincter and/or rectum. By using a finger you prep the body, stretch the muscles, and allow the yourself (or the receiver) to get used to the feeling.

Once the finger is inserted, have your partner leave it there for about a minute or so. Don’t tell them to thrust or move it around… just insert it and leave it. This will allow you and your body to get used to the feeling and relax the muscles.

Go Slow & Start Small

Anal Sex Tips: Small Tantus Silk For BeginnersWhen you feel ready slowly remove the finger and move onto a toy or your partner. I personally suggest using a toy that’s between the size of your finger and your partners penis, this will give you the opportunity to work up to something larger with minimal discomfort.

Any of the Tantus Silk products (small, medium, or large) are amazing options as there’s limited texturing, a round base to keep them from going too far in, and a flexible body to make them totally comfortable.

When it comes to penetration, start thrusting gently, if it makes it easier for you do it doggy style. Have your partner on their knees staying as still as they can. Then take control and back up onto it. This may make it easier for you to take it as you’re the one determining how far it gets inserted and at what speed. The human body is an amazing thing and it’s quite astounding how much it will endure when you put your mind to it.

Finally, be gentle and go slow. I know that we all see the people of porn taking it like champs, but they are trained professionals. It’s what they do for a living and in most cases, have been doing for quite some time. You unfortunately are not a porn star and anyone who believes you can take a pounding the first time is grandly mistaken.

**One more thing, NEVER go from anus to vagina, or anus to mouth, doing this can lead to vaginal infections like bacterial vaginosis, yeast infections, E coli, or intestinal parasites.

Anal Sex Tips For BeginnersToys & Products Worth The Investment

Quality silicone toys like the ones Tantus makes are definitely worth the money. They’re phthalate free, latex free, wont absorb any bacteria, can be cleaned in a large number of ways, are hypo allergenic, hygienic, and perfectly safe for anal use. Even better, the flared bases on all Tantus toys make them perfect for anal play.

A very good quality silicone lubricant. Silicone is very slippery, compatible with latex, and requires very little reapplying; something I’d highly suggest for anal sex. Just keep in mind that if you’re going to be using a silicone lube use it only for actual intercourse, not for use with a silicone toy as it might ruin it.

Condoms, I always stress safe sex even with anal play, you may not be able to get pregnant from anal but you can get an STD.  Not to mention that if you have your fill (no pun intended) with anal sex and want to have vaginal it’s easier to just take the condom off, put on a new one, and get back to business. Otherwise they’ll have to stop, bathe their penis, put on a condom, and start over again. If you’re wondering about the bathing part, those with a penis can also get urinary tract infections.

It’s my goal to make sex a safe, fun and enjoyable experience for everyone. Hopefully these anal sex tips have allowed you to become more comfortable and knowledgeable, while also easing some of the things you may encounter as a beginner.
