Review: Fairy Miniature

Thanks to the folks at Eden Fantasys I was sent another product from the Fairy line to review, the Fairy Miniature. While it is extremely powerful, discreet, easy to use and guaranteed to deliver intense orgasms, I will admit, it is my least favorite in the series for a variety of reasons…

*by saying that I don’t meant I don’t like the product, I actually think it’s pretty damn awesome! I just think that out of all the Fairy products I’ve seen it’s my least favorite.

Just like all of the products in the Fairy line, the Miniature comes packaged in a pretty pink box with a see through window and a pretty pink fairy silhouette on the front. There is nothing on the box to hint that the product is meant for sexual purposes, no sexually suggestive or erotic photo’s and no derogatory terms, a definite bonus in my opinion.

There are of course pictures to help you figure out what your doing with the product (how to plug it in, insert the batteries etc.), however they are reminiscent of Ikea directions; suggestive pictures, words you don’t understand and the assumption that you can put two and two together…thankfully I can, but for those that can’t this might be a tad confusing.

When it comes to the actual Fairy Miniature, it’s relatively light coming in at  only 0.4lbs and falling somewhere between the Fairy Pocket Mini (0.3lbs) and Fairy Mini (1.23 lbs) in regard to weight.

*Personally I think the product is the perfect weight for a hand held massager; it’s heavy enough that you can get a good grasp on it, but light enough that it doesn’t weigh you down or cause any cramping in your arms or wrists.

In addition to being lighter then other models the Fairy Miniature is also relatively small for a hand held massager measuring only 7 1/4″ compared to the Hitachi Magic Wands 12″. While that 5 inches might not seem like much of a difference it really is, especially when holding the products side by side.

As for the other stats, the product measures 4 1/4″ in circumference and 1 1/4″ in diameter.  In my opinion it’s the perfect size for stimulation as it’s just big enough to offer a large surface area for arousal, but small enough to offer targeted and direct pressure just where you like it most.

On the topic of stimulation the Fairy Miniature has got to be one of the most powerful little wands I’ve ever seen! No joke, this bad boy will blow your mind! Like the Pocket Mini, the Fairy Miniature has 11,000rpms to offer in it’s compact and pretty little design. More then enough to get you offer in under 5 minutes!

For those of you that don’t know what to measure it against, the Hitachi Magic Wand offers 5,000rpms on its lowest setting and 6,000rpms on its highest…the Fairy Miniature far exceeds its highest speed by a whopping 5,000rpms. Now that’s impressive!

That said, for those of you that don’t like (or require) a strong vibration to reach orgasm the product can be easily operated by a dial on the front that allows you to adjust the speed from a low vibration to a high powered, extremely strong vibe in a gentle roll of the finger.

*As someone who loves a good strong vibe I must admit, the highest is way too much for me and I often found myself turning it down, something I rarely ever do.

Like all the Fairy products the Miniature can be used for a variety of purposes; it’s great for clitoral stimulation, nipple play or teasing of erogenous zone. Just keep in mind that if you are going to be using it during foreplay you might want to keep it on a low setting as the high is extremely powerful and might be a bit distracting rather then playful or “teasing”.

*I personally wouldn’t suggest it for internal use as the lip on rim on the product could make removal rather painful.

In regard to the power supply the Fairy Miniature uses, you have two options; a removable AC adapter or a removable plug in portable battery pack.

To use the AC adapter simply plug the cord into the bottom of the Fairy Miniature, then plug it into the wall outlet and you’re good to go!

*Personally I found that the AC Adapter  made the product much stronger and allowed it to last longer then when used with the battery pack.

To use the portable battery pack place 6AA batteries (3 on either side) into the case, plug the AC adapter into the bottom of the Fairy Miniature and you’re all done.

*While the battery pack does allow the product to be fully portable it’s also a bit of the pain in the ass as it’s rather heavy, drains quickly, doesn’t give the product as much power as when it’s plugged in the wall and can be rather annoying to open (I broke 2 nails trying to get it open!)

In regard to lubricants I would only suggest a good water based lube as I’m not sure what the head of the product is made of. That said, I do know that it’s phthalate free, latex free, made of food grade material and is completely body safe.

When it comes to cleaning I would suggest that you either spray it down with an antibacterial toy cleaner or give it a good wipe with a damp cloth (not a “wet” one) as the product is not waterproof and can’t be washed under a running faucet.

The Bad

As I said in the beginning of my review the Fairy Miniature is my least favorite in the line and these are my specific reasons why:

The product is rather loud when on the highest setting, emitting a high pitched rumble and coming very close to the Hitachi Magic Wand. For some of you that might not be an issue but I found it rather distracting.

While the battery pack allows you to travel with it, I found it to be rather bulky, heavy and didn’t provide the same amount of power being plugged into the wall did. Aside from the power issue, the battery pack was extremely hard to open and became more of a headache then anything else.

It requires 6AA batteries, something that really shouldn’t be that big of a deal but batteries are rather expensive and since they tend to drain quickly with this product, it’s almost like a waste of money.

Also on the note of power supply; both the AC adapter and battery pack are easily removed from the product. While this should be a positive there were a few occasions when mine fell out right when I was reaching a climax, causing me to lose it…not cool.

It’s not waterproof, again for some of you that might not matter but since I’m laying out all the faults I thought I’d include it.

Final Verdict

While the Fairy Miniature has a lot of faults I can’t deny that it is one powerful and pretty little machine! That said, for those of you that are interested in any of the Fairy products I would suggest either the Fairy Mini Wand or the Pocket Mini before the Miniature as I think they have less faults, are easier to control and remain just as powerful.

If you would like any info or to purchase any of the Fairy line of products they can be found at Eden Fantasys and purchased with your safety and discretion in mind.

Remember guys, if you support me and what I do please also support the sponsors. The more you support them, the more willing they will be to support me and send such fantastic products my way…without them, I have no way of showing you what’s worthy of your time and hard earned cash.

Review: Fairy Pocket Mini

Fairy Pocket Mini ReviewThanks to the folks at Eden Fantasys I was sent what I think is my new favourite clitoral stimulator! Seriously, I don’t think I can say enough about the little wonder that is the Fairy Pocket Mini; it’s powerful, easy to use, easy to care for, discreet and very, very pretty!

For those of you with a fear that someone might open your mail and discover your new found friend, when it comes to the packaging of the Fairy Pocket Mini you don’t have to worry. The product is very respectfully packaged with nothing on it to suggest what it is, nor is there anything on it that could be considered rude, pornographic or embarrassing. It’s a simple pretty pink box with foreign writing on it (Japanese?) and a fairy wing shaped peek-a-boo window to view the product through…seriously there is nothing to worry about with this one.

On that note, the product itself is also very discreet resembling a teeny tiny ice cream cone more then a sex toy. It’s hard, shiny, white exterior has nothing on it that could offend, actually I would think quite the opposite. On the handle is the word “Fairy” (written in pretty pink) along with the silhouette of a tiny pink fairy, suffice to say it’s absolutely adorable!

One of the other things that impressed me with the Fairy Pocket Mini was the size; compared to other popular hand held massagers like the Fairy Mini and Hitachi Magic Wand this thing is tiny.  Coming in at only 5 ¾” in length, 3 ½” inches in around and only an inch in diameter it is probably the smallest hand held personal massager of its type.

While it is very small, don’t let the size of it fool you – as they say good things come in small packages!

I must admit, it was the power of the Fairy Pocket Mini that surprised and impressed me most – while it only has two speed settings, a high and low rather than vibration modes, they are both very powerful with the highest providing 11,000rpm of vibration stimulation. As for the lowest, unfortunately I couldn’t find information on it anywhere, but I can say that while it is quite a bit less, it is still very strong.

*For those of you that can’t imagine it, let me just throw this out there; the Hitachi Magic Wand has 5,000rpm on its lowest setting and 6,000rpm on its highest…the Fairy Pocket Mini far surpasses that with 11,000rpm on its highest. Like I said, this is one powerful little delight!

As for operating the Fairy Pocket Mini it’s exceptionally easy; located on the handle is a slider with 3 settings, off, low and high. To turn the product on just slide it into either the high or low setting and to turn it off just slide it into the off position. Nothing could be simpler.

On that note I’d also like to say that one of the things I liked about the slider was the fact that it didn’t slide too easily, it required a small amount of pressure to switch it from one setting to the next. While it might not seem like that big of a deal, if you’ve ever used a cheap toy and were disappointed by the fact that it slid a little too easily making it hard to control, and knocking your orgasm out of the way in the process, you’ll completely understand why this is such a fantastic feature.

While it is designed for clitoral stimulation it could also be used during foreplay on the nipples, inner thighs, taint, balls or any other erogenous zone that tends to excite. Due to its tiny size it can also be comfortably placed between two people while having sex, delivering the clitoral stimulation some females require to orgasm. Other then that it could be used for targeted massaging of knots or muscle aches and if you have a headache its rounded head is great for temple massage.

One of the uses that I’ve found for it, and love it for, is my constant hand/finger cramping due to carpal tunnel. Not only does the Fairy Pocket Mini quickly relieve any pain but it also helps to bring the feeling back to my fingers when they go numb. I know a lot of you won’t be facing the same issue, but if you do, trust me, this thing is amazing!!

*I personally wouldn’t suggest using it internally as it’s not really designed for comfortable insertion or removal. To be honest, with the rim on the head I would think that removing the product (once inserted) would be rather painful.

Aside from the power, discreet design and ease of use I also absolutely loved that the Fairy Pocket Mini didn’t require batteries to work, instead it can be recharged using either a Wall Charger or USB Charger (chargers are specifically designed for the products and can be used for both the Pocket Mini and the Lithium Charge Fairy Wands).

Just like operating the product, charging it is extremely easy; located on the lower side of the handle is a small slit that resembles a USB port which snugly fits the charger. A cable then connects the toy to an AC outlet or your computers USB port (depending on the charger you purchase). The Fairy Pocket Mini takes 90 minutes to fully charge for 70 minutes worth of use. Personally I think that like the Hitachi Magic Wand, it’s very unlikely that you’d need the full 70 minutes to achieve an orgasm 😉

I charged mine for only 15 minutes then unplugged it and let it sit in the on position just to see how long it vibrated for. Surprisingly I got about 35 minutes on a 15 minute charge, pretty impressive!!

*Quick note, while the toy is charging the lower end will glow a light blue letting you know that you’ve inserted the charger properly. If it doesn’t glow you might want to fiddle gently with the charger until it fits into place.

As for lubes I would only suggest a good water based lube as I don’t know exactly what the head of the Fairy Pocket Mini is made from. That said, I do know that the product is Phthalate free, hypo-allergenic, latex free and made of food grade material so you can use it without the worry of whether or not it’s body safe, it is.

When it comes to cleaning you can simply give it a wipe with a damp cloth or spray it with toy cleaner. Since it’s not waterproof I personally wouldn’t suggest washing under a running faucet, especially since the charger port does not come with a rubber stopper to seal it when not in use.

*Quick note, since the head of the Fairy Pocket Mini contains grooves and ridges that could easily collect “fluid” I suggest you pay it a little extra attention.

The Bad

For the most part I don’t have anything bad to say about the Fairy Pocket Mini, the only things I’d nit pick at (simply because I’m looking for something to pick at) are the fact that it’s not waterproof. Personally I don’t think it’s that big of a deal, but for some of you I know it’s a selling feature so I thought I’d mention it so you don’t buy it and think it’s one thing when it’s another. Other then that there is no rubber stopper to protect the charging port from debris like lint or other little particles of dirt – just place a little tape over the opening and voila, problem solved!

Like I said, I’m nit picking…these “issues” aren’t really that big of a deal.

Final Verdict

I’m sure you can tell by the review that I am a huge fan of the Fairy Pocket Mini – for many, many reasons; it’s easy to use, light weight, small and discreet, easy to care for, very powerful, pretty, rechargeable, made of body safe materials, easy to transport and can be used by either a couple or single person!

Whether you’re a beginner or Toy Connoisseur this is a product I think every female deserves to have! Trust me, while it is a little pricey, you won’t be disappointed.

If you would like any info or to purchase any of the Fairy line of products they can be found at Eden Fantasys and purchased with your safety and discretion in mind.

Having Sex On Your Period

To watch the video you must log into YouTube
Ever since I started making videos I’ve been consistently asked to cover having sex on your period. For as much as I wanted to, something internally fought me on it; the judgment, possible removal of the video, unnecessary flagging, trolls, wading through and deleting crappy/childish comments, dislikes etc.

With all the discouraging thoughts roaming in my head I put it off.

Truthfully, I just didn’t feel the need to invite any further negative attention, and assumed that a video on such a taboo subject would definitely bring that about.

Having said that, after much personal debate I finally decided that since these videos are for you – designed to educate, liberate, inform, and possibly help you engage in something you might enjoy – I would throw caution to the wind and make the video.

While having sex while on your period is nothing to be embarrassed about, ashamed of, or scared of, I do completely understand that for some of you it may be too “gross” to consider.  If you choose to have sex on your period, or not, that’s a completely personal decision that every person, and couple, has a right to.

If you want to do it, that’s okay.

If you don’t, well that’s okay too.

Just keep in mind that no actual harm can come from having sex on your period, nor can any damage be done. It’s just the body flushing out what’s no longer needed.

For those of you that want more information, here’s some links to sites that should be handy and helpful when it comes to learning about the ovulation cycle and menstruation in general.

Become A Set Toy Reviewer: Part 3 – Writing A Review

writing your blogFor those of you just getting into this series I highly suggest you go back and read the first article “Getting Into the Sex Toy World: Part 1 Building Your Blog“. The article outlined free sites you can use to build your blog, provided examples of online sex toy reviewers that I think are fantastic, included what you will need in regard to categories, and provided some “do’s and don’ts” that I think would be very helpful in developing your blog.

Once you’ve read the first article, and taken the time to build your blog, I suggest you read the next in the series “Getting Into the Sex Toy World: Part 2 – Becoming an Online Affiliate”. The article outlined the steps to take in becoming an online affiliate, provided a list of online sex toy shops you can affiliate to, and offered some tips to help you fill out the necessary forms.

If you start to feel like you’re missing out or losing track don’t worry. There is no way to fall behind. Go at your own pace and remember, this isn’t a race and you don’t have to rush to “keep up”. If it helps, I’ll be linking to previous articles in the series just so you can make sure you didn’t miss anything.

For this weeks article I’m going to cover writing a sex toy review, the next step in getting into the sex toy world.

As with the previous articles I need to stress that in order to write reviews and have affiliate accounts you need to be of legal age before getting started. As long as you are 18/21 (depending on where you live) you should be fine, but it’s always better to be safe then sorry.

Where To Begin

PostItI’ve heard from many people that writing about sex toys seems embarrassing, overwhelming, confusing, and a little discouraging, especially if you don’t have much experience or know where to begin.

The best advice I can give when it comes to writing a review is… stick with what you know.

For instance…

  • If you don’t have a lot of experience with toys, but have tried a handful of different condoms, write about them; the way they felt, if there was any noticeable difference between types or brands, what you liked about them (or didn’t), and why. Sure, many bloggers don’t like covering this subject (they have their own reasons), but I think it’s a valid place to start since it gets you talking about sex, thinking about the way things feel, what you like and don’t, allows you to explore and experience your body in a new way, and gives you the opportunity to write about your findings in a relative way.
  • If you recently watched an adult movie (porn) and it’s fresh in your memory write about it. There is nothing wrong with critiquing a movie, even if it’s porn. For all you know you could become the next Roger Ebert of adult flicks. Not a bad gig if you can get it.
  • If all you’ve ever tried is a massager (one that wasn’t actually designed for sex play) feel free to write about it. It’s surprising how many personal massagers double as some of the best sex toys. That’s how the legendary Hitachi Magic Wand started out.
  • Finally, if you’re really stumped you can always take $20 to your local sex shop and purchase some basic toys to review. Decent products like the Power Bullet, My First Vibe, V-Ring or Butterfly Kiss can often be found for less then $20. If you have money left over you can also usually find products like cock rings or other novelties for under $5 to review. Just make sure that whatever you purchase is body safe and phthalate free.

After you’ve written a few reviews and linked to products through the sites you’ve affiliated to, I’ll show you how to apply as a ‘toy reviewer’. I’d do it now but most companies want examples of your work to go on, which is what this whole series is meant to help you create.

Bare Necessities

No matter what type of item you’re reviewing there are basic key features or benefits that need to be included which will allow the reader a better understanding of the product in question;

*not listed in order of importance, that’s for you to decide.

sextoy material guide

PHOTO: Burke Denning

Material: Many people have allergies to materials like latex, or have issue with the harsh chemicals that can be found in most jelly toys (phthalates, among others). By listing the material you allow the reader to make a decision with their health and well being in mind, while also giving them a better idea of what the toy might “feel” like. If you’re not sure what type of material the product is crafted from (after checking the box or online) I suggest you read the “sex toy materials” page located on the Babeland website.

tantus dildo measurementSize: For some people size does matter, which is why it’s always important to list the size in length, girth, and/or width of a product. Although you may think I’m mentioning size because of the myth that “bigger is better”, you couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s my experience that most buyers want stuff on the ‘smaller’ side. On that note, by listing the size of the product you allow the reader to make a decision based on whether that particular size will bring pleasure or pain. Also, not everyone is comfortable with leaving toys in the open, sharing the size let’s them figure out if it’s something they could easily hide.

Function: The best way to describe the function is to suggest the type of stimulation the product has to offer; is it light/indirect or moderate/direct stimulation? The idea here is about the “power” the toy gives off rather then the actual type of stimulation you use it for.

Intended Use: This is where you want to cover what it’s meant to be used for; is the product designed for nipple play? clitoral stimulation? is it great for helping to find the g-spot? can it be used anally? These are all questions you want to ask yourself when using a toy. Sometimes you’ll find that a product designed for one type of use is actually better for something completely different. If that’s the case, write about it.

Style: Most people assume that a vibrator is a slim, pasty white, elongated shaft with a dial on the bottom that simply vibrates. Little do they know that sex toys now come in 1,000’s of different styles, colors, textures and shapes. By describing the product you’re reviewing you give your reader a better visual picture of what it looks like and if it’s something they might like. It’s also a good idea to include pictures of the product so that your readers can see it for themselves.

jimmyjaneCleaning Instructions: While most reviews I’ve read tend to leave this out I personally think it’s a very necessary issue to cover, especially considering the number of products that can be ruined due to improper cleansing techniques. Aside from that, it’s also good to note cleansing instructions as it helps your readers avoid any possible infections.

Compatible Lubes: This is another area that I find tends to be forgotten or left out of most reviews. You may opt to do the same but I think it’s a good thing to mention in order to avoid causing more damage then good. With so many luxury products on the market it would be a shame if someone ruined their toy by using something that wasn’t compatible.

The Bad: No matter what it is that’s being reviewed, there is almost always something that a person can find that they don’t like. When mentioning the “negative” aspects of a product be honest but always try to be careful of your words and respectful of the company that makes it. You are allowed to offer constructive criticism, and if you have the je ne sais quoi to bash a product without totally offending retailers and companies to the point that they don’t want to work with you, go for it (I think Epiphora does that best).

You don’t have to write your review in this order, nor do you have to include headings or titles if you don’t want to. This list was simply created to give you a good idea of what you consider when writing your review and what you might want to include. Feel free to take out or mention anything you want. It’s your review, not mine.

As for length, it doesn’t have to be long or winded; it just has to speak of your experience honestly, openly and with some sincerity… especially if you are someone that wants to have others read their reviews and trust their judgment on toys.

Be Creative

vingtage typewriter ad

When it comes to the actual review do your best to be creative, and remember, there are no rules or right/wrong way wrong to share your experience. Be honest, responsible, and respectful with your approach, but don’t be afraid to have fun with it.

Tip: You’re fully allowed to use choice words like “cunt”, “pussy”, “cock”, “dick”, “vag”, “coochie”, “va-jay-jay”, “fuck”, “ass”, “shaft”, “shlong” if you want to. Just don’t go overboard or it’ll come across as tacky or unprofessional.

You’re also allowed to talk about your own “personal” experience with the product if you want, for instance; “Last night while I was masturbating I tried using the new xxxx in my wet pussy…” – see where I’m going with this? Again, you don’t have to share in such a graphic manner, but I’ve read some reviews that were explicit and found them to be not only hilarious, but also very informative and fun. Just choose your words carefully.

Wrapping It Up

I’m sure most writers would agree that the key with writing the review is to just write it. Don’t let your fear of failure or judgment get the best of you and if you get stumped take a break. You’re allowed that. Remember, this isn’t meant to be stressful. Actually, sex toys are fun, so make your review fun… make it something you would want to read if you were someone else. Allow it to be that place where you let loose and just let go for a minute. It’s your space and your blog. Claim it.

Once you’ve written your first review I can pretty much guarantee that you’ll want to write another, and another, and another. There is something quite thrilling about talking about sex toys… even more so, writing about them.

Remember guys, I was once in your shoes and know just how confusing it can seem. That in mind, with a little help and support I’m sure you can learn how to be successful at doing something that is not only liberating but tonnes of fun as well.

For those of you that already have a blog up and running, next week I’ll be focusing on linking to your affiliate account through the toy review you learned to write in this article. The article will cover the steps for linking to words in your blog which will drive traffic to the sites you’ve affiliated with (hopefully making you money), offer suggestions of more affiliate programs you can sign up for, provide examples of links from others that I personally love, and help you find companies that will provide you with toys to review for free (should you be accepted).

To make it easier I suggest you take this coming week to write a review of something you’ve tried, even if you didn’t like it. That way you’ll have something to learn how to link through when the time comes.

If you have any questions about setting up your blog/becoming an affiliate do your best to find the answers online, if you can’t feel free to send me a message and I’ll do what I can to help.

Where To Begin

For most of you writing about sex toys may seem embarrassing, overwhelming, confusing and a little discouraging, especially if you don’t have much experience with them or know where to begin.

The best advice I can give when it comes to writing a review is to stick with what you know;

– If you don’t have a lot of experience with toys but have tried a handful of different condoms, write about them; the way they felt, if there was any noticeable difference between types or brands, what you liked about them (or didn’t) and why. Sure, many bloggers don’t like covering this subject (they have their own reasons), but I think it’s a valid place to start since it gets you talking about sex; thinking about the way things feel, what you like and don’t like, allows you to explore and experience your body differently, and gives you the opportunity to write about your findings in a relative way.

– If fetish play is more your thing and you’ve had experiences with items like novelty handcuffs, paddles, ticklers, blindfolds or restraints (meant for tying up) then write about that.

– If you recently watched an adult movie (porn) and it’s fresh in your memory write about it. There is nothing wrong with critiquing a movie, even when it’s porn.  For all you know you could become the next Roger Ebert of porn. Not a bad gig if you can get it.

– If all you’ve ever tried is a massager (that wasn’t actually designed for sex play) feel free to write about it. It’s surprising how many personal massagers double as some of the best sex toys. That’s how the legendary Hitachi Magic Wand started out.

Decent products like the Power Bullet, My First Vibe, V-Ring or Butterfly Kiss can often be found for less then $20.00. If you have money left over you can also usually find products like cock rings or other novelties for under $5.00 to review. Function: The best way to describe the function is to suggest the type of stimulation the product has to offer; is it light/indirect or moderate/direct stimulation? The idea here is about the “power” the toy gives off rather then the actual stimulation you use it for.

By describing the product you’re reviewing you give your reader a better visual picture of what it looks like and if it’s something they might like.* It’s also a good idea to include pictures of the product so that your readers can see it for themselves.

Cleaning Instructions: While most reviews I’ve read tend to leave this out I personally think it’s a very necessary issue to cover, especially considering the number of products that can be ruined due to improper cleansing techniques.

You are allowed to offer constructive criticism, and if you have the je ne sais quoi to bash a product without totally offending retailers and companies to the point that they don’t want to work with you, go for it.

You don’t have to write your review in this order, nor do you have to include headings or titles if you don’t want to. This list was simply created to give you a good idea of what you consider when writing your review and what you might want to include. Feel free to take out or mention anything you want. It’s your review, not mine.

As for length, it doesn’t have to be long or winded; it just has to speak of your experience honestly, openly and with some sincerity…especially if you are someone that wants to have others read their reviews and trust their judgment on toys.

Be Creative

When it comes to the actual review do you’re best to be creative and remember there are no rules. There is no “right” or “wrong”;  just your experience with a product as described by you.

Just don’t go overboard or it will possibly come across as tacky or unprofessional.

You’re also allowed to talk about your own “personal” experience with the product if you want to i.e. “Last night while I was masturbating I tried using the new xxxx in my wet pussy…” – see where I’m going with this. Again, you don’t have to do it this way, but I have read some reviews that were explicit and found them to be not only hilarious, but also very informative and fun. Just choose your words carefully.

For those of you that want some inspiration or just some ideas of how to write a review these are ones that I love and think might help you discover your own personal writing/reviewing style;

Wrapping It Up

Sex toys are fun, so make your review fun… make it something you would want to read if you were someone else. Allow it to be that place where you let loose and just let go for a minute. It’s your space and your blog. No one else’s.

I’m sure most writers would agree that the key with writing the review is to just write it. Don’t let your fear of failure or judgment get the best of you and if you get stumped take a break. You’re allowed that. Remember, this isn’t meant to be stressful.

Once you’ve written your first review I can pretty much guarantee that you’ll want to write another, and another, and another. There is something quite thrilling about talking about sex toys… even more so, writing about them.

Remember, I was once in your shoes and know just how confusing it can seem. With a little help and support I’m sure you can learn how to be successful at doing something that is not only liberating but shit tonnes of fun as well!

To make it easier I suggest you take this coming week to write a review of something you’ve tried, even if you didn’t like it. That way you’ll have something to learn how to link  through when the time comes.

For those of you that don’t yet have a blog but would like to participate, I suggest you go back to the first article in the series, Become A Reviewer – Part 1 – Building Your Blog, and get started. From there head over to the second part in the series, Become A Reviewer – Part 2 – Becoming An Affiliate and learn everything you need to know about affiliating so you get toys, and hopefully make some money from your reviews.

If you have any questions about setting up your blog/becoming an affiliate do your best to find the answers online, if you can’t feel free to send me a message and I’ll do what I can to help.
