Review: Flavored Heating Massage Potion

Wickedly Sensual Massage Oil ReviewYears ago (when I worked in a brick and mortar adult novelty shop) there was a line of premium all natural massage oils that I loved!

I tried to sell them to everyone as I was convinced they were amazing – not only were they luxuriously packaged, easy to use, left you feeling soft and supple rather than oily or greasy and very affordably priced, but more importantly they were well made, derived from all natural ingredients and smelled amazing.

Now, 4 years later, I’m extremely excited to finally bring a newer line of products from the same brand to all of you.

The brand of products I’m speaking of is Wickedly Sensual (created by Exciting Products) – a Canadian manufacturer focused on creating affordable, premium, all natural products that taste/smell amazing and feel great.

With that in mind I want to send out a very, very big thank you to the folks at the company for sending 12 of their new products my way – 9 (every flavor!) from the Flavored Heating Massage Potion line and 4 (again, every flavor!) from their line of Heating Massage/Lubricant 2 in 1’s (available exclusively through Shoppers Drug Mart).

To say I’m a happy camper is a big under statement – I’m ecstatic!

For today’s review I’ll be covering the Flavored Heating Massage Potions as they are the ones I’ve had the most fun with…so far.

If there is one thing I can say about the packaging it’s that it’s extremely high end looking. The box is metallic silver, shaded with a hint of the color that corresponds with the flavor it’s associated with; raspberry is a light fuchsia, chocolate is light brown, tangerine is light orange and so forth.

There is nothing on the packaging that’s rude, crude or embarrassing. In fact, I personally think it’s quite the opposite. The packaging looks like something you’d find in a high end boutique catering to rich women who want the best skin creams, lotions and potions, rather than something you’d associate with sexuality or buy in an adult novelty store.

As for the containers, again they are reminiscent of a high end bottle of lotion or skin cream rather than something used to bring excitement between the  sheets; each bottle is crafted from a heavy plastic container (looks like glass) and filled to the brim with your favorite flavor. There’s nothing on the bottle to hint it’s something sexual – except for the cute little bat winged heart with the letter “W” in the center, a small clue that it might be meant for something naughty.

I’ll admit, one of the things I love about the bottle is the pump dispenser. Sure it may not seem like that big of a deal but considering the amount of products on the market with faulty lids, screw tops or open holes for dispensing (all of which limit the amount of control you have) this type of product seems like an innovation – no worries of spilling, accidental leakage or messes to clean up and definitely no worries about pouring out a lot when you only want a little.  To me, less waste and more control is always a good thing.

When it came to the “potion” (i.e. the liquid in the bottle) I was extremely excited to see that the level of quality remained the same as the previous products I had come to love; it’s not sticky, thick, slimy, gel like or tacky, doesn’t leave you feeling oily or greasy, goes on smooth, has no aftertaste, is light, gently warms when rubbed or blown and definitely leaves your skin feeling soft and supple – not to mention wonderfully but lightly scented.  More importantly, all the potions are hypo-allergenic, non staining, all natural (I’ll get to that in a minute) and latex safe!

*if you happen to get some left over on your hands then touch a latex condom, dental dam or female condom you don’t have to worry about possibly damaging it like you would with most other massage products/oils.

Flavorful Fun!

As for the flavors, I’m going to give two sides (mine and my partners) for one simple reason; when it comes to flavors or scents I think it’s good to have more than one opinion. Especially since scent/flavor is sometimes different to everyone.

*all of the potions are translucent with a hint of color – they’re non staining so the color is nothing to worry about. (To test them I put some on a white pillow case that was going in the wash just to see what would happen. Surprisingly, the marks actually washed out – clearly staying true to being non staining)

Whip My Cream/Vanilla (light yellow):

To me this didn’t taste or smell like vanilla. Not in a bad way, quite the contrary actually – it tasted better! If you’ve ever had a toasted marshmallow straight from the fire, still warm and ready to melt in your mouth well that would describe this to a T. To my partner this tasted like a caramel or butterscotch sundae topping, not too sweet or syrupy, just sweet enough. (This is definitely one of my personal faves!)

Kiss My Raspberry (light fuchsia/purple):

Both of us agreed on this one – it tasted like a sweet but tart “blue raspberry” Jolly Rancher candy. The taste was a little heavy but didn’t linger on the tongue which was nice. It wasn’t too sweet nor too tart, instead having a nice balance between the two. If you want to see what the flavor is like before buying just pick up a pack of Jolly Rancher candies and try it…I can guarantee you’ll be buying the potion once you do! (another fave of mine!!)

Pop My Bubblegum (light pink):

I’ll admit, I’ve never ever been a fan of bubblegum flavored anything. I don’t know why, it just always seemed to make me nauseated. Unfortunately for me (and my partner) this tasted exactly like bubblegum – not a necessarily a bad thing, especially for those of you that love the taste. In fact, if you like that kind of thing you’ll absolutely love this!

Spank My Mango (light greenish yellow):

When I first tasted it I didn’t get hit with mango per sé, instead I got fruity, sweet, slightly tart, rich and juicy. Then after tasting it a few more times I could really taste the flavor of a mango just before it’s fully ripe. As for my partner he said it tasted like “fruity candy” when asked what kind he said “the good kind”. I’ll take that to mean that he liked it.

Bang My Cherry (red):

Before tasting it I expected what you get from most Cherry flavored lotions – the familiar cough syrup flavor. Fortunately this tastes nothing like cough syrup; it’s light, sweet, a little tart, not at all syrupy, has no after taste and has a cherry candy taste. My partner said it tasted like “red Cool-aid” being that he loves the stuff I’ll again take it as a “like”.

Melt My Chocolate (almost translucent):

It smells like a cup of Hot Chocolate and tastes even better! It’s not too sweet or syrupy, instead tasting like a delectable chocolate topping you’d put on ice cream – without the heavy after taste or richness that can sometimes burn that back of your throat. It’s light, almost creamy, has a hint of hazelnut (to me anyways) and is definitely yummy. When I gave it to my partner he said it was “like a creamy, tasty ice cream sundae”, then asked if we could make martini’s with it. We tried, they tasted amazing!! (Our mutual fave!!)

Squeeze My Tangerine (light orange):

Next to the Bubblegum flavor this was my least favorite. It’s a little syrupy, kinda thick, slightly rich and tasted nothing like tangerines. If you’ve ever been to The Body Shop and smelled their Satsuma (Orange Pop) scented oil/soaps this is what the products would taste like if they were flavors. That said, it’s my fave scent for essential oil/perfume/home spray, so I loved the way the it smelled. My partner didn’t really like the way it tasted either, he said it tasted “like an orange cough candy that’s really trying to be orange” – I have no clue what that means.

Suck My Candy (light blue):

To be honest I’m not exactly sure what they were going for with this flavor, tasty candy floss? sugary sweet jelly bean? syrupy and rich cream soda? old fashioned mouth watering hard candy? Either way the product tasted like all of the above to me, while also tasting a bit like a white Mr.Freeze (which is supposed to be cream soda). As for my partner he said  “at first it tastes like Werther’s Originals, then I get toffee, then I get cream soda. I’m not sure what they’re going for but either way it’s sweet and sugary. I like it, but in small doses”. (In small doses one of my faves too!)

Pluck My Strawberry (light red):

Again, both of us got the flavor of Jolly Ranchers with this one. That said, it’s kind of a mix between watermelon (because it’s really juicy and mouth watering) and strawberry (light, fruity, sweet, delicate). The scent of this one is light, almost non existent – definitely not heavy, rich or syrupy, instead just a hint of candied berries. Like the Raspberry flavor, if you want to try before you buy just grab a pack of Jolly Rancher candies and pop a watermelon and strawberry one in your mouth at the same time. If you love the flavor, you’ll love this!!

Like I said earlier, the ingredients in the product are all natural and therefor shouldn’t do any harm. More importantly they’re safe to ingest and fortunately not full of chemicals like a lot of other flavored products on the market.

Ingredients:Vegetable Derived Glycerin (comprises approximately 90% of ingredients), distilled water, flavor, citric acid, color.

*if you’re someone who is prone to yeast infections I wouldn’t suggest these as a vaginal lube, just an amazing massage potion – which is what they are intended for anyways. That said, they are amazing for oral sex (blow jobs) and are completely latex safe (so you can perform a b.j. with a condom and not worry you’ll ruin it)

The Bad

In regard to things I didn’t like about the product, there really weren’t any. Sure it’s not something I would suggest as a lube, but then it’s a Massage Potion so I can’t really expect that from it.

On that note, when it comes to massaging I suggest that you don’t expect the same results you’d get from an oil – something that would make the surface area slick and easy to rub. Instead, these allow the hands to move over the area being massaged with ease, while slowly being absorbed by the skin as you rub. Sooner than later you’ll notice the product has completely disappeared and need to apply more – fortunately a little goes a long way, and with the pump dispensing a measured amount you never have to worry about using too much or going overboard.

*Since I have a serious “love on” for the product I thought I’d ask my partner what he thought just in case I missed something, this is what I got:

“Honestly, I like it more than I thought I would. They all – except for those two (Bubblegum/Tangerine) – taste amazing, they feel good and they don’t get sticky. You know me, I hate having lotion and sh*t on my body, it makes me feel gross and greasy, but this stuff wasn’t that bad. I actually didn’t even feel any residue. That’s a good thing right? Well, I think it is. Anyways, if you brought this home and pulled it out of that damn box of toys you have I wouldn’t freak out or say no, I’d probably welcome it. I think most people would feel like that, especially since it looks like it’s really expensive when it’s really not. It’s like an affordable luxury product – you can quote me on that.”

Final Verdict

To say I love the products is an understatement – I pretty much think they are amazing!

If you’re looking for a massage lotion/potion that doesn’t get sticky or tacky, definitely doesn’t leave you feeling greasy, slimy, oily or covered in goop, tastes amazing, is lightly scented so it’s not over powering, doesn’t stain, is hypo- allergenic, latex safe, affordable (only $18.35 for 100ml) and beautifully packaged then definitely try the Wickedly Sensual Flavored Heating Massage Potions. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Review: Beginners E-Stim Kit

From the time I accidentally electrocuted myself by sticking a fork in a socket (I was 5) I’ve been fascinated with electricity and the euphoric rush that can be caused from the “shock” of it.

Now of course I’ve never been one to go out an do something dangerous like run a wet paintbrush over an outlet (yep, I did that. I was 8 at the time) or volunteered to have myself hit with a stun gun (yeah, I did that too – I was 16 and my curiosity got the best of me!) but I have always wanted to get my hands on one of those handy, scary, intriguing, intimidating and delightfully kinky Electrosex kits I’ve seen plastered online and hailed as “genius” by friends in the BDSM scene.

Unfortunately, for as much as I wanted one, I was never able to find one I liked; they were either too expensive (upwards of $300.00), too confusing or powerful (knowing me I’d do some serious damage, especially without the right instructions), were cheaply made and looked like they’d fall apart (not good when it comes to something designed to electrocute you), we’re big and bulky, hard to store and rather heavy or came in a design I didn’t like very much. With all of that in mind, I just wasn’t willing to to spend a wallet breaking amount of money on something I wasn’t 100% sure of – let alone 100% sure I’d like.

Well, as they always say ” good things come to those who wait” and thanks to the folks at SexToy.com I finally got my hands on a kit that’s easy to use, not at all intimidating, fun, safe (it automatically turns off after 20mins) and best of all has just enough power to zap you into an endorphin rush without really hurting you – the Beginners E-Stim Kit by Zeus Toys.

I’ll be honest, when I first got my E-Stim Kit I was very intrigued while also being a tad nervous. I had never tried one before (especially one of my own) and was rather terrified that I would shock the living sh*t out of myself – or worse, out of someone else.

It was then that I decided to thoroughly go through the instruction manual, making sure to note any possible dangers, warning signs and more specifically, learn the instructions inside and out. To my pleasant surprise the manual was very easy to read, well laid out, informative and lead me through the operating procedures without any confusion. In fact, it was so easy to follow that I was instantly filled with confidence enough to use it almost right away – on my partner that is 😉

I yanked the individual parts out of the box like a kid on Christmas morning and found everything a person would need to get started including;

Complete E-Stim Kit

*4 adhesive pads
(these pads come with a clear backing that can be easily removed for application or used to place the pads on when not in use giving them a longer life span)

*2 sets of lead wires
(they are rather long, which is good and thankfully look rather sturdy)

*the power unit
(the top of the unit has 2 external dials (amplitude controls) with speeds ranging from off – 8.  Also on top of the unit are 3 lights; 1 between each of the jack input and amplitude controls that glow red (to let you know the pulse rate of the electrical current) and 1 green light right in the middle of the unit to let you know that it’s on. Internally there are 2 dials one for the Pulse Rate and the other for the Pulse Width (both explained below) Then in the middle is the Mode Selector which allows you to go from a steady Modulation Mode to Normal Mode and Burst Mode (also explained below))

*9 volt battery and  *bonus “sex clamps”
(not the best as the spring in one of mine popped out, but still a nice bonus. On that note, I did fix it without any problems)

Being that I had read the instructions, very carefully I might add, putting it all together was extremely easy and not at all intimidating;

two external dials in off positions

First I made sure that all of the dials (4 in total – 2 external, 2 internal) were turned off (or on the lowest setting) so that I didn’t accidentally shock myself when I plugged everything in.  Then I carefully removed the battery cover and inserted the 9v battery the product came with.

Next I gently inserted the wire pins into the adhesive pads so that none of the bare wire was left exposed (you could also insert them into the clamps, I just liked the pads since they looked easier for a first timer).  I plugged the connectors into the jacks on the case (there’s one on each side) and removed the clear plastic backing from the adhesive pads and gently stuck them on my partners dry, clean, unbroken skin – forearm to be exact (I suggest you hold them down for 30 seconds just to make sure they actually stick).

two internal dials on lowest setting

After double checking that the 2 internal dials were set to their lowest frequency, width and mode I switched on the 2 external dials to their lowest setting and my partner said he could slowly begin to feel the electrifying thrill that is the E-Stim Kit.

Since this was being done in the realm of “testing” and “research” (basically giving me way to do what I wanted 😉 ) I slowly increased the dials to a higher setting (somewhere between 4-5), sending a pulsing shock through my partners forearm. While it was intense he said it “wasn’t too painful” and suggested I go to the next setting, so without hesitancy (more like sheer excitement, I think I was a Dom in a past life) I cranked it between 6 – 7 and his hand quickly began to involuntarily flex in time with the pulsations.

With a slight gleam of fascination and fear in his eye he asked me to take it up to the max (8 is as high as it goes) and again without hesitancy I slowly turned the dial and watched as his hand moved in time with the pulsation, this time in more of a jerking manner rather then a ticking. (Hilariously funny, yet slightly awe inspiring)

Next up was an increase in the Pulse Width and Rate – now before I go any further I just want to take a moment to explain the difference;

Pulse Width as described within the manual ” adjusts the duration of each individual stimulation pulse width from 50 – 250 microseconds“. From my experience it really just made a difference regarding the strength of the electrical current.  When it was at the lowest (50) it was hardly felt – giving off a slight tingling, rather than the strong shock that can’t be mistaken at the highest (250).

Pulse Rate as described within the manual “This control regulates the frequency of stimulation from 2Hz to 150Hz pulses per second“.  This had less to do with the power of the electrical current and more to do with the speed at which it pulsed, as it made the product quickly go from a slight, fast paced tingling tapping to a long, drawn out current of pulsations with the biggest difference being felt between the 50Hz – 150Hz marks.

With the above in mind I went for the Pulse Width first, fully knowing it was the most likely to cause an increase in pain (guess I’m a sadist at heart lol). I watched as my partner went from slight interest and keen attention to a “holy cuss wtf was that?!” face in an instant. Again, thoroughly exciting for me as I knew I was the one in full control of his pain or pleasure. At his insistence I took it all the way to the 250 mark, eagerly waiting for his reaction. He let out a slight yelp and I turned it down – we had found his threshold for pain!

Once we had the Pulse Width at a setting that was comfortable for him, but still enough to cause a slight discomfort (somewhere around the 130 mark), I went for the Pulse Rate very slowly at first then (again) at his insistence cranked it to full – his hand and fingers went from a slow ticking to a strong uncontrollable and involuntary (almost fully) clenched fist – it was amazing to see!!

By this point in our exploration I was thoroughly amused and enthralled, quickly wanting to play with the Mode Settings located inside the control;

The Modulation Mode (M) consists of a contraction for 4 seconds, relaxation for 1 second and again a contraction of 4 seconds. Pulse Width and Rate are both adjustable on this setting.

The Normal Mode (N) consists of a steady contraction with no breaks (effing intense!!). Pulse Width and Rate are both adjustable on this setting.

The Burst Mode (B) consists of a contraction for 0.2 seconds then relaxation of 0.2 seconds (repeat), only the Pulse Width (strength) is adjustable.

Since we had started with the switch on the Modulation Mode I thought I’d try the Normal Mode and see what happened. I lowered everything to it’s lowest setting again and flicked the switch, slowly turning up the dials until I saw my partners arm begin to twitch ever so slightly (he said 8 was tolerable on the amplitude dial). Then I tuned up both the Pulse Width and Rate, again watching for signs of pleasure or pain – I was able to get the Pulse Width fully turned to 250Hz without him freaking out, but once I got the Pulse Rate up over 90 his arm began twitch frantically and uncontrollably, so much that I had to turn the amplitude dial down to around 6. Once I did this I was able to take the Pulse Rate to it’s max, watching his hand clench again into a tight fist that he couldn’t open. He said it was scary, but that had more to do with the fact that he couldn’t open his hand no matter how hard he tried, something he’d never experienced before. (Apparently it was a total “mind f*ck”)

After giving him 10 minutes of rest time I switched it into Burst Mode, slowly turning up the Amp dials to their highest setting. His hand moved like he had a permanent twitch, but he said it didn’t hurt and actually felt “really interesting”. Again I had to turn the Amp dial down in order to turn up the Pulse Width to it’s fullest, this time his hand flicked and twitched like a fish out of water. He said it didn’t hurt but felt “foreign and very, very odd”.

Once we finished playing and had extracted all the fun we could for one sitting, I switched everything to it’s lowest setting and turned the dials off so I could safely remove the adhesive pads. As I gently peeled them off his skin and returned them to their clear sheets, I asked him what he thought of it, this was what he had to offer:

“It’s different, original, slightly scary and since I don’t have much to compare it to quality wise I have to say that it seems like it’s rather good quality. As far as the electricity goes I guess it depends on your kink. The pain thing is something I’m kinda new to so I don’t know if it’s the right thing for me. However, for someone who is into that kinda thing I can see how this would be a definite “must have”. I think it’s value as an electro stimulator kit is great because it lets you try that kinda thing out without having to hook yourself up to a car battery – sure it hurt, but it was more or less a point of discomfort rather then serious “pain”. I’m sure there are other ways of seeing if your into that kinda thing, but to me I’d think they’d all be kinda dangerous – you know sticking your fork in a socket or doing something stupid like that. This to me seems much safer and gives just enough “pain” to allow you to see if you like it as a beginner, without actually hurting yourself or someone else”.

*For those of you that are interested in my first time experience with the Beginners E-Stim Kit, I’ll be uploading a video of it for all of you to laugh at and enjoy! (as soon as it’s up this will be updated)

But What’s The Point Of It?

Now I’m sure a lot of you are wondering what an Electrosex kit has to offer, and quite truthfully, up until recently using one I was somewhat perplexed myself.  While I understood how it played into the S&M scene, I wasn’t sure what it might offer others (especially beginners), aside from the sheer novelty of shocking ones friends (yep, I’ve done that too! watch here and here)

From the experiences we’ve had with our kit I can safely and assuredly say that Electrosex is no slight novelty, especially when used in a sexual manner; it requires 110% complete trust between partners, open and honest communication, the willingness to let ones guard down and being vulnerable, the ability to retain control at all times (for the person that has the control unit), and an underlying interest in the realm of pleasure vs pain. It is by no means for the slight of heart, or those that just aren’t that interested.

If I look at it from the sexual point of view; creating and/or enhancing a state of sexual arousal is definitely heightened with an Electrosex kit, for others it has the rare ability to induce intense orgasm(s) as it can create a sensation that is deep and penetrating, while also being unmatched. Simply put, there is no other sensation like it! Unfortunately it hasn’t brought about an orgasm for myself or my partner, but it has allowed us to get into some serious role play and built trust while also allowing us to explore our sexual relationship in a way we never had before.

The Bad

When it came to things I didn’t like about the product I didn’t really have any.  Maybe if I get my hands on other products like it that might change, but for now I’m rather satisfied.

Of course there are things with the Beginners E-Stim Kit that you won’t really find with other sexual wellness products like warnings, cautions, detailed possible side effects, limitation of liability, indemnity and binding arbitration (there’s some big words for you!), but that’s all to be expected – especially considering that you’re playing with an electrical current.

With that in mind, I think the biggest downfall might be the fact that it can be dangerous if used incorrectly or without knowing what you’re doing first. As it says in the instructions, the product is for “healthy, consenting adults who understand all operating procedures and warnings” – a statement I thoroughly agree with!

Final Verdict

In my honest opinion I love the Begginers E-Stim Kit; it’s easy to use, allows for a variety of settings (ranging from a slight tingling to a more intense pulsation), it can be put together rather easily and doesn’t require much care or maintenance, it’s lightweight, rather discreet (no one would know what it was) and includes everything a person would need to safely venture into the world of electrosex without being overwhelmed or intimidated.

Again, I just want to give a big thanks to the folks at SexToy.com for sending me such a kick ass product! If you’d like to check out any other sex toys, lubricants, dildos or other products in the realm of electrosex make sure to check them out – they have a fantastic selection at very good prices!

Review: System Jo Fruity Flavored Lubes

About a year ago I did a review of some of my fave System Jo products which included water based lubes, silicone lubes, a clitoral stimulation gel and finally yummy flavored lubes.

Thanks to the folks at System Jo, I’m back with a review of their newest flavored fruity lubes and I gotta admit, I love them!

Just like all of the water based lubes System Jo makes, these fun and fruity flavors are all latex safe, non staining, never get sticky or tacky, maintain their consistency, have a great taste with no after taste, contain no artificial sweeteners, and contain a very small amount of vegetable derived glycerin.

Also like all of the other products in the System Jo line, the packaging is discreet, professional and respectful while still maintaining a fun and flirty feel. To be honest, the packaging to me looks more like something you’d mix in a drink or put on desert, than something you’d use for sexual encounters.

The products I was sent included Peachy Lips, Banana Lick, Juicy Pineapple, and Sweet Pomegranate.

System Jo Fruity Flavored Lube Review

Peachy Lips Water Based Lube (pictured left): I’ll be honest, I’ve tasted better, but I’ve also tasted much, much worse. The scent is light and sweet, almost like vanilla and something else, something fruity that you can’t quite put your finger on.

The flavor is subtle and slightly tangy while also being wonderfully candied. Having said that, it’s only a tad like peach. It’s not thick or goopy, has no after taste and doesn’t taste like medicine (something I’m always fearful of when it comes to flavored lubes). The formula is clear and slippery, doing a fantastic job of maintaining it’s consistency.

Final Grade: B+

Banana Lick Water Based Lube (pictured right): From the get go System Jo’s Banana Lick was one of my faves! The first whiff filled my nose with the heavy scent of a mixture of pear/lemon/vanilla, then upon smelling it again I got hit with the yummy scent of banana popsicles.

The taste is light, slightly syrupy, wonderfully sweet, and very much like what a banana flavored candy would taste like. Like the previous flavor, this one has no aftertaste and doesn’t leave you tongue feeling coated in goo. The formula is clear and slippery, doing a fantastic job of maintaining it’s consistency.

Final Grade: A+

Sweet Pomegranate Water Based Lube (pictured left): When I first saw that System Jo came out with a Pomegranate flavored lube I was very excited to see what it tasted like. Not only was it something I hadn’t tried before, but it was also a flavor I had never even seen as a lube. Fortunately, I was not let down. The scent was light, fragrant with fruit, slightly floral, and very appealing. That said, nowhere in the scent did I pick up Pomegranate.

The taste was again light, slightly syrupy, a little tangy, very sweet, though sadly nothing really like Pomegranate, instead tasting more like a candy or those red jujubes I used to love as a kid. It wasn’t bad. It just wasn’t the pomegrante flavor I had hoped for.

Like the others the formula was clear, slippery and did a fantastic job of maintaining its consistency.

Final Grade: B

Juicy Pineapple Water Based Lube (pictured right): While there are many Pina Colada lubes featuring flavors of pineapple and coconut on the market, System Jo’s Pineapple was the first I had seen singling out the flavor. As such, it was one that I was very eager to try. The scent was very much like the others – light, sweet, slightly tangy, somewhat like citrus and very appealing.

The taste, while sweet, very much reminded me of Pineapple rings in a can, you know, the ones in that sweet, watery syrup that taste almost deliciously fake. There was no aftertaste or slimy feeling left in my mouth or throat, and virtually no acidic burn on my tongue (unlike real Pineapple). There also wasn’t the heavy taste associated with most lubes.

As for the consistency, it lived up to the high standards I’ve associated with the System Jo brand, being very slippery, maintaining its consistency and doing a wonderful job of enhancing oral sex.

Final Grade: A+

The Bad

When it comes to things I don’t like about the product, there is only one; the ingredients. While there aren’t enough chemicals in a bottle to seriously harm you, nor enough to cause any worry or concern, I would of course prefer to offer a product that is completely organic or “natural” as that is something I am growing more conscious of.  That said, I still love System Jo products and find them to be some of the best I’ve ever used. Also, when it comes to lubes quite a few of them contain the same ingredients so I can’t really give the folks at System Jo a hard time, especially when there are much, much worse lubricants on the market.

Ingredients: Propyl Paraben, Methyl Paraben, Sodium Carboxy Methyl Cellulose, Glycerin, Purified Water, Flavor.

Final Verdict

As I’ve said before, I’m a huge fan of System Jo products; they’ve  always be wonderful to use, never caused me any problems with yeast infections (or other infections), always maintained their consistency – never getting sticky, tacky or thick – been very affordable and tasted amazing! With that in mind I’m very happy to report that the new flavors they came out with not only lived up to my expectations, but also somewhat surpassed them. I’ll admit, it’ll be hard for other companies to follow in their footsteps!

For those of you that don’t really like the flavors mentioned, keep in mind that System Jo also makes another 8 flavors; Lemon Splash (tart, tangy, slightly acidic, refreshing and very tasty), Watermelon (sweet but tart, very much like watermelon Jolly Ranchers), Strawberry Kiss (sweet, light, fruity and candy like), Raspberry Sorbet (sweet and very much like raspberry), Cherry (a little heavy, very rich and cherry cough syrup like – my least favorite), Tropical Passion (tangy, sweet, a little heavy, very exotic and fairly tart), Tangerine Dream (sweet, refreshing, very yummy and very much like a orange creamsicle – my second fave!) and finally Chocolate (deliciously fragrant and fragrant of chocolate – there’s no missing this flavor which is why it’s my ultimate fave!) Yes I really have tried all of them!

Review: Jimmy Jane Form 2

One of the questions I’m most commonly asked regarding sexual wellness products is “what are your personal favorites?”. While it’s a question I’ve been somewhat reluctant to answer (simply because I’m constantly being sent new stuff, making it hard to pick) thanks to the folks at SheVibe, I can quite honestly say, without an ounce of doubt…

I have a NEW fave for clitoral stimulation: the JimmyJane Form 2!

The Form 2 is not only extremely easy to use, very discreet, made from body safe silicone, waterproof, whisper quiet (and I do mean that!), hypoallergenic, hygienic, phthalate and latex free, travel ready, but it’s also rechargeable and very strong. On top of that it has 4 vibration modes with 5 power levels, and best of all it comes with a 3 year limited warranty – seriously, I don’t know of many products on the market offering the same benefits and features all rolled into one.

*yes there are other products that offer similar or the same features/benefits, but like I said – there aren’t many, and that’s the difference!

Packaging

From the moment I received it I loved it; the packaging is respectful, discreet and very professionally done, with nothing on it to cause embarrassment or fear someone might find it. Sure, it has some writing on it about the product that explains what it is, but it’s done in such a manner that it makes the Form 2 seem like a prized item, rather then just another “sex toy”.

jimmyjaneThe Good

The silicone that the Form 2 is made of is soft, supple, odorless and silky to the touch, making it very comfortable to both hold and use. Best of all, it’s hypoallergenic, hygienic, phthalate free, latex free (no worries if you have a latex allergy) and non porous (so it won’t absorb bacteria, bodily fluids or lube) – making it totally body safe, durable and built to last.

As for the actual product, it’s very small (think the palm of your hand) measuring only 3.25″ in length by 2.0″ in width at its widest point. That in mind, the Form 2 could very easily be placed within a box (no pun intended), drawer, container or a medium to large sized jewelery box for hiding and safe keeping.

*For those of you that are a little bit more ballsy (or forgetful) often leaving your sex toys within eye shot – with its non traditional design, even if someone was to find (or see) it they most likely wouldn’t know what it was. Yay! for discreet products.

Speaking of the design, it’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen; the “top” of the product has 2 flexible “ears”, each about the size of a pinky or ring finger (depending on how big your hands are – think the smaller of the two) and the lower end is a rounded bulb with a flat stainless steal ring on the bottom (for charging). It’s definitely different, highly unique and rather futuristic!

One of the things I love about the Form 2 is the way the vibrations are carried throughout the entire product: located within the flexible “ears” are dual motors (one in each “ear”) that enable the product to deliver some pretty amazing vibrations. Whether it’s used to hug the clit, deliver direct pressure through one ear tip or the other, or traced along the body (or specific parts: nipples, ear lobes, labia, taint) this little wonder is amazing at bringing on a heightened sense of arousal – not to mention some pretty strong orgasms!

In regard to the noise, this has got to be one of the quietest vibes I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning! I’ll be honest, I was literally shocked when I heard how quiet it was – sure it makes noise, it is a vibrator after all, but for something this powerful to be so quiet, well I was pretty much amazed!

*You could definitely use it without the worry of someone in the next room hearing it, or if your in College/University and sharing a dorm room, I think it’s probably one of the safest bets you could take!

jimmyjaneform2Operating Instructions

Using the controls is very easy as there are only 3 buttons to worry about; a vertically long raised bump with a + (plus symbol) on the top, a  –  (minus symbol) on the bottom and a single little raised bump near the bottom of the product with the #2 (though mine looks more like a “Z”) on it.

To turn it on simply press the + button once, then to cycle through the 5 power settings just press the + for each increase in speed you’d like to experience. To lower them simply press the – button. To run through the 4 vibrational modes simply press the “2” button near the bottom, each time you press it you’ll jump to another mode. Turning it off is just as easy, simply hold down the – button for 3 seconds and it quickly turns off.

Like most luxury vibes the Form 2 does not require batteries and is instead, fully rechargeable! Charging the product is extremely easy; along with the vibrator you will receive 2 parts – a charging base and the adapter to plug it into the wall. Simply plug the adapter into the base, then into the wall and sit your Form 2 in the base. For a single charge you’ll get 7+ hours of use out of the product – pretty impressive!

Care & Cleaning

In regard to cleaning, since it’s made of platinum grade silicone it’s very easy to care for; simply wash it with mild soap and water, rinse it well and pat it with a lint free cloth or let it air dry. Remember, it is fully waterproof (not water resistant, but 100% waterproof!) so you can very easily wash it under a running faucet without a worry.

As for lubricants, I would only suggest a good water based lube since the product is made of silicone. If you use a silicone lube with a silicone product you run the risk of ruining your product – trust me, you don’t want to ruin your Form 2!

The Bad

When it came to things I didn’t like about the product there was only 1:

When the “ears” are pressed a certain way they tend to become slightly louder then usual. That in my opinion isn’t necessarily a problem with the product, but instead has more to do with the person who owns it learning how to use it so that it doesn’t happen. It took me all of 2 minutes to figure where the ‘sweet spot’ on the product was. Again, it’s not that big of a deal.

While there was only one main thing I had issues with, I do want to readdress the packaging simply because it was something that irked me; more and more I’m seeing companies go eco-friendly, not just with their products but with smaller, reusable and often times highly “fitted’ packaging. With that in mind, a little box or reusable container would have been a nice thought, rather then the big box and silly inserts it came with.

Final Verdict

I don’t really know what else to say about the Form 2 than I absolutely LOVE IT!

It’s light weight, easy to use, body safe, eco-friendly, rechargeable, 100% waterproof, very strong while also be exceptionally quiet, has dual motors to guarantee stimulation, is latex and phthalate free, is hypoallergenic, hygienic, has varying speeds and settings to play with, is very discreet in design and best of all it comes with a 3 year limited warranty! Seriously, I don’t think there is much more you could want from a clitoral stimulator that the Form 2 doesn’t have – like I said, I love it!

Once again I just want to send a HUGE thanks to the folks at SheVibe, not only did they send me a product I love, but they also have one of the best looking sex toy sites on the web I have EVER seen! – seriously, even if you’re not looking to shop right now, go and look at their site, it’s stunning!

If you’d like more info or to purchase the product you can check out the Form 2 on their website, along with other fantastic sex toys, lubricants, costumes and more!
