All Of The Rainbow Sex Toys You Need To Know About

When I first started in this industry 12 years ago there were little to no rainbow sex toys to be found. Sure, what was available was pretty, but they were made of toxic jelly materials and weren’t anything I’d touch with a ten foot pole, let alone stick in my bits. Fortunately times have changed and manufacturers are seeing there’s a market for these beauties. A thing that makes me happy beyond words. Granted, it could be due to corporate greed, but I don’t really care. The world needs more rainbow sex toys. Period.

On that note, with Pride Month in full effect my city has been infused with color like I’ve never seen before. From banks to fast food chains, crosswalks to libraries, even the CN tower, everywhere I look, I see RAINBOWS! 🌈😍

Not that I’m complaining. I actually wish this was a regular occurrence rather than something reserved for one acceptance and love filled month of the year. But it’s not. So, while they’re here I’m going to take in as many rainbow sightings as I can… for those of you like me, needing a few more shades of fun in your life, here’s an extensive collection of all the rainbow sex toys I found floating around on the internets.

rainbowdildos

FROM DILDOS TO BUTT PLUGS AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN!

Rainbow Sex Toys - BS Rainbow Pride Dildo BS Atelier Pride Rainbow Dildos: $50 – $90

If there were ever a set of dildos that reminded me of Pink Floyds ‘Dark Side Of The Moon‘, the Pride Rainbow versions from BS Atelier would be first on the list.

Crafted by hand in Madrid, Spain, each of the dildos in the Pride Collection is unique, sporting sleek black shafts, curved bodies for g-spot stimulation, and rounded bases perfect for strap-on or anal play. Like Kusama and Amor (dildos mentioned in the post below), the stripes are defined with little to no bleeding, and contain all the shades you’d hope to find in a ‘traditional’ rainbow.

Whether you’re a fan the legendary rock band, or just someone who prefers a modern design, these sophisticated beauties are a must for anyone wanting a hint of a rainbow, without going overboard.

Newly added to their roster as part of the 2016 collection are the stunning ‘Alex’ dildo available in blue, grey, and pink, and the ‘Bingo’ butt plug in blue or pink, (all pictured below).

I WANT THEM ALL.

Rainbow Sex Toys - Geeky Sex Toys Pride LGBT+ DildoPride Dildo LGBT+ by Geeky Sex Toys +$69

This years new kid on the block is the Pride Dildo LGBT+ collection by Geeky Sex Toys.

Although it may not look as ‘finished’ as others on the page, the gently curved body should not be overlooked.

Size wise, the overall circumference of 4.3 inches provides a nice sense of fullness, while the 6.5 inch shaft and medium firmness make insertion and thrusting both pleasurable and comfortable. The supple silicone is 100% body safe and won’t absorb bodily fluids, lube, or bacteria, making clean up a breeze. And the heart shaped base is not only adorable, it’s totally functional; use it in a harness for strap-on play, suction it to a surface for hands free action, grip it by hand for manual use (on yourself or a partner), or use the dildo for butt stuff without fear. No matter what you decide it’s sure to bring hours of pleasure. What more could you ask for?

As for the coloring, the lines aren’t clearly defined. Instead they blend from one to the next creating a gentle ombre affect. Although this leaves the perfectionist in me wanting, I do love that it makes each one unique.

On that note, the creators offer 5 options for coloring; there’s a a pink/white/blue version for those identifying as transgender. Pink, purple and blue for bisexuals. Graduated pink, white, and red for lesbians. A gorgeous traditional rainbow. And for those that want more specific coloring, they even offer a ‘something else’ where you can pick your own shade.

Everything considered this beautiful and brightly colored rainbow sex toy is a definite must have. Love is love.

Rainbow Sex Toys - Babes N Horny Kusama

Babes ‘N Horny Kusama: £80

Okay, so it’s not your typical red, orange, yellow, green, blue etc rainbow, but it’s close, and that’s good enough for me.

Like the Amor (mentioned below), Kusamas hand-poured stripes stand apart, bright and bold, with no bleeding or fading into the next. It’s playful, stunning, and certainly eye catching.

The dildo is pliant with a decent amount of squish and give so insertion is easy. It also has a lovely matte texture that’s smooth and velvety to the touch. Finally, it boasts a flared base for strap-on or anal use. Did I mention that the girth is damn near perfect? ‘Cause it is.

Curious? Check my Kusama review.

Rainbow Sex Toys - Unicorn Rainbow Horn DildosRainbow Unicorn Horn: $43 – $120

According to legend, Unicorns are a perfect combination of ‘male’ and ‘female’ energies, rich in the symbolism of opposites, reflecting an archetypal primal energy at play in our own lives.

Okay, I’ll admit that sounds a little hokey. But that doesn’t mean these stunning rainbow unicorn horn dildos from Split Peaches wouldn’t be a worthy addition to anyone’s collection, regardless of gender.

Unlike the previous two dildos, you’re not going to find straight cut edges or a defined rainbow. Instead, you’ll a lovely subtle flow from one color to the next, with a gradual fading. Considering each of these beauties is hand poured in the U.S. it’s only to be expected, and part of what makes them so unique.

Whether you prefer a toy that’s big and commanding or small and unintrusive, the dildos come in three different sizes; small, medium, and large. Taking it a step further, they even offer varying degrees of firmness; standard firm, medium squish, or super squish. No matter your wants and needs there’s something for everyone.

Rainbow Sex Toys - rainbow dildo rivetorAdding to the collection are the new neon rainbow unicorn horn dildos. They’re exact replicas of the originals, the only difference being absolutely stunning bright vivid shading. While I’m a traditionalist at heart, I can’t get over how ridiculously cool these look.

Of course rainbow offerings aren’t limited to unicorn horns; inspired by the steaming hot riveted steel boiler plates found in the industrial furnace, their newest edition, ‘The Rivetor(pictured left), is the first in a line of steampunk sex toys.

The curved shaft and studded head provide serious g-spot stimulation, while the flared base makes it excellent for anal play or use in a harness. My suggestion, rather than thrusting, try twirling it while inserted… with enough lube I’m sure the texturing would feel amazing.

Rainbow Colour Pleasures & Official Pride Dildo $40 – $50

Rainbow Sex Toys - Rainbow Pride DildoWhen it comes to rainbow dildos that’s are a little more ‘realistic’ you’ll definitely want to check out the new Color Pleasures rainbow dildo by NS Novelties. They’re truly breathtaking!

Since 2011 the Fun Factory Rainbow Amor (mentioned last in this post) has been my ultimate favorite rainbow dildo for a very specific reason: the colouring found on the shaft is clean cut, with precise definition, offering no bleeding from one shade to the next. Basically, it makes the perfectionist in me ridiculously happy. Unfortunately the Amor is no more – as in, it’s no longer being manufactured… THE HORROR. Thankfully there’s all the beauties in this collection to take it’s place in my heart.

Granted the design is completely different from the Amor, but that doesn’t mean it’s not as good; the medical grade silicone is velvety soft to the touch yet firm enough for effortless penetration, it’s easy to care for and clean, has a suction cup base so you can use it on any surface, and for those that like options – it comes in large and small.

Pride dildo rainbowOfficial Pride Dildo

Or, for those that prefer something without balls… there’s the official ‘Pride dildo’ (pictured right). It’s just as colorful as the original, has a tapered shaft for easier insertion, isn’t quite as thick, and has little bumpy detailing near the base. The details probably won’t make much of a difference sensations wise, but the lack of balls does allow more length to play with. Either way, if you love rainbows and realistic dildos, it’s one you’ll want to add to your collection.

Rainbow Sex Toys - Rainbow Wave DildoRainbow Wave Dildo

If you like the coloring of the Pride Colors dildos, want to stick with the line, but don’t like the realistic versions, there’s the new Rainbow Wave Dildo that just came out this year (pictured left). Although I love the other versions, I think this might just be my favorite.

The sleek shaft is non-detailed, with a slightly swollen tip designed for stimulating both the g-spot and p-spot. A wide circular base allows the dildo to be used as a strap-on with harness systems, while also acting as suction cup that can be pressed securely on walls, windows, counter-tops, and more. As with the others, the coloring is absolute perfection with each of the shades being as bright and pigmented.
All of the dildos in the collection are created from 100% body safe silicone, making them hypo allergenic, hygienic, non-toxic, and phthalate and latex free. Honestly, what more could you ask for?

Rainbow Harnesses $25 – $70

Inclusion Harness

Not only does the Inclusion Harness look amazing, it’s also well made, supportive, hand sewn and vegan!

More than that, proceeds go to help create queer and trans friendly environments in schools across rural Ontario. For those not in the know, the Ontario Ministry of Education changed the health curriculum in 2018 to remove all queer and trans topics. While some may not care about this, it’s my belief that inclusion of all genders and peoples creates a safer environment for everyone. To read more about the creators efforts to help make positive strides check out their interview with Vice.

As for the specifics, this stunning rainbow harness is made out of comfortable and supportive polypropylene webbing. Metal snaps allow the O ring to be easily replaced with something smaller or larger so you can play with any toy. The buckles are the same ones used on backpacks to tighten shoulder straps, and because of that, users can adjust them to fit any body type. On that note, the inclusion harness comes in two different sizes, with the measurements based on a hip circumference. If somebody needed a size that was bigger, the creator could easily make one (for custom orders check them out on Etsy).

Unlike the Power Drive Harness mentioned below, the back end is open allowing for easy butt play, further stabilization, and comfort. As if all that wasn’t enough, the creator worked with a friend who’s a physiotherapist so that the straps would be easier to grab for somebody with mobility issues and lost muscle tone.

Everything considered, if you’re going to buy a harness I highly suggest investing in this one.

Rainbow Power Drive Strap-On with Harness

Aside from a bewitchingly bright, super soft and extra comfy elastic harness, this strap-on set includes a sleek silicone dildo in all the colors of the rainbow.

Pegging aside, the Power Drive is a perfect addition for any kind of strap-on play. The harness is stretchy and elastic, fitting most. Having said that, the descriptions I’ve found all say it’s adjustable however I can’t see how to alter it. Maybe I’m missing something.

Regardless, both the front padding and straps are interchangeable with other harnesses and dildos so you can happily explore with any toy you’d like.

Granted there are a couple things I don’t like about this harness; although the back strap looks great on the manequin, there’s a very likely chance during use it would ride into your ass crack and cause chafing. Not cute. Not fun. Definitely not hygeinic. On that note, because there are only 3 elastic straps I don’t see it being very supportive. If you’re looking for stability, comfort, and quality, go for the Inclusion Harness mentioned above.

With regard to the dildo, the shaft measures 6.5 inches and is just the right girth to stimulate without overwhelming beginner users. Slight veining provides the subtlest of sensations, while the wide base means you can go deep with no worries. It’s easily changed with any compatible harness system. As for coloring, they went traditional, no neon brights here. Just all the shades you’d expect with perfectly cut lines.

Rainbow Sex Toys Knob Job DildoAbstract Rainbow Dildos: $24 – $55

As a fan of abstract design (and discreet sex toys), I can’t help but love the Rainbow Knob Job dildo. The super fun colorful shaft is on point, pleasing the perfectionist in me. The tapered and bumpy head, ribbed contoured shaft, and 8.5 inches in length leave me curious about the sensations it would provide.

Like the Rainbow Beads dildo below, I don’t advise using it anally as it might be hard to remove. Save yourself the trouble and potential embarrassment and stick to vaginal play. For those that want something they can use for but play I’ve included a bunch of rainbow butt toys that are totally safe for use in the next section.

Rainbow Sex Toys Beaded Shaft DildoRainbow Beads Dildo

Even more discreet is the bright and playful Rainbow Beads dildo (pictured right).

Measuring 7 inches in length, the shaft sports 7 ribs offering continual stimulation with each thrust. Like most of my other fave rainbow sex toys, the bright neon coloring is perfect. Not that it has any impact on the way the toy feels, but visually it’s quite superb.

Having said that, the description on Amazon contains the words “Anal Plug”, something I highly disagree with. Unfortunately there’s no base to stop it from potentially venturing inward and getting stuck. Sure, the rounded bumps might provide some tension, but in my opinion it’s just not worth the risk. In a nutshell, play all you want vaginally, just don’t stuff it in yer butt.

Avant Pride P1 Freedom Dildo

Hand sculpted to be sleek and modern, the Avant Pride P1 Freedom dildo by Blush Novelties (pictured bottom left) is lovingly crafted in small batches and made of body safe platinum cured silicone making it hypoallergenic, hygienic, non-toxic, latex/phthalate free, and totally body safe.

Measuring 6 inches in total length, with 5.25 of that being fully insertable, the P1 Freedom dildo is harness compatible and features a deep, strong suction cup base. Lovers of g-spot and p-spot play will likely find this a perfect addition to their bedroom play.

Rainbow Butt Toys: $25 – $76

Have a penchant for sticking things in your butt? Look no further than these fantastically fun creations.

Rainbow Sex Toys - Geeky Sex Toys Butt PlugPride Butt Plug LGBT+ by Geeky Sex Toys

My current favorite rainbow butt plug is made by Geeky Sex Toys, a company crafting some of the coolest, most nerdy, creative toys I’ve seen in a long time. They’ve got toys based on Super Heroes, GOT, Star Wars, Doctor Who and more. Seriously, go check them out. They’re awesome.

As for their pride selection, they’ve got the rainbow dildos mentioned above as well as coordinating butt plugs. The tapered end makes insertion easy and comfortable, while the supple but firm silicone provides some squish and give. The colors are bright and pigmented gently bleeding from one shade to the next. Although I prefer clean cut lines the gradual shifting of shades creates a lovely ombre effect. The piece de resistance with this beauty is the heart shaped flared base; it’s both purposeful and absolutely adorable.

Besides a traditional pride rainbow, the creators offer a selection of options for coloring; there’s a a pink/white/blue version for those identifying as transgender. Pink, purple and blue for bisexuals. Graduated pink, white, and red for lesbians. And for those that want more specific coloring, they even offer a ‘something else’ where you can pick your own shade.

Triple Play Butt Plug

The Triple Play Butt Plug (pictured left) is a stunning tush toy that allows the user to go from gentle to intense during anal play. The smooth contoured shape easily slips in without any discomfort, staying put with a minimal amount of effort. Like many of the goodies in this post the coloring is perfect, featuring the traditional shades found in a rainbow. Just keep in mind it’s made of TPR so you’re going to want to use a good water based lube and make sure to clean it thoroughly between uses.

Bobo Butt Plug by BS Atelier

If you’d prefer something a little less overwhelming but just as pretty, the BS Atelier ‘Bobo’ butt plug (pictured left) is where it’s at. Smooth to the touch, flexible but firm, and crafted out of 100% medical grade body safe silicone, Bobo is the perfect mix of butt plug meets anal beads. Measuring 5″ in total length with 4.1″ of it being fully insertable, the plug is neither too large for a beginner, nor too small for someone more advanced. Like all BS Atelier plugs, the flared base allows you to use it without fear of it getting lost, and the graduated rounded beads offer a uniquely thrilling sensation.

Everything considered, the Bobo Rainbow Silicone Butt Plug is a perfect specimen. That said, because they hand pour toys there’s a chance the colors and patterns may vary slightly from their photos. Don’t worry though, even with minor differences they’re all absolutely breathtaking.

Tantus AsteroidTantus Asteroid

With neon popping tones of lime green, fluorescent orange, and opaque fuschia, the Tantus Asteroid looks like the start of a rainbow, one that forgot what followed, but in the most perfect of ways.

Unlike the clean cut lines found on Kusama, Amor, and the entire collection of Rainbow Colors Pride dildos, Tantus’ version is much less dramatic with the trio of shades gently fading into the next creating a much softer effect. They’re simple and that’s part of their charm. The plug is supple with decent squish and give and has a flared base for safe butt play. It also suctions to most surfaces. The tapered shape allows it to enter easily, providing a full sensation once completely inserted. Personally I’d suggest something more like the Perfect Plug Kit for beginners to butt play, but for those more experienced this is a must have.

Colours Pride Edition Rainbow Pleasure Plug – Silicone Suction Cup Butt Plug

Last but not least is the Colours Pride Edition Rainbow Pleasure Plug. Out of all the other options this is the most basic, but that isn’t a bad thing.

The long and slim tapered body makes insertion a breeze, the flared base is perfect for any kind of play, the 100% medical grade silicone is body safe, matte, and supple, and with 3 sizes to choose from there’s something for everyone.

With regard to the colors, each shade is highly pigmented with little to no shifting from one to the next. Personally I think it’s damn near perfect. But that’s just me.

Rainbows in my ass? Yasss please!

Rainbow Sex Toys: Rainbow Tail PlugRainbow Tail Plugs – $32 – $55

Speaking of butt toys, I found these oh-so-fun rainbow tail plugs that take it to the next level.

Rainbow Sex Toys: Pony Tail Butt PlugSure, you can find real fur ones online, but as someone that doesn’t like the idea of having part of a dead animal hanging from my ass cheeks I’ve opted for the less cruel faux fur option.

Crafted out of body safe silicone, each plug offers a tapered tip that slides into place with ease, eliminating discomfort or the worry of product toxicity.

Whether you’re into pony play, cosplay, have a unicorn fetish, are a Brony, or simply like to try new things, these rainbow tail plugs are absolutely perfect for whatever your little heart desires. Personally I love the fluffy version since it’s true to typical ‘rainbow’ color order. The unicorn version isn’t a bad option if you’re not as picky as I am.

Rainbow Sex Toys - Rainbow Cock RingRainbow Cock Ring: $27

Do you have a penis? Are insertables not quite your thing? Looking for something that will help you maintain an erection while also potentially giving you a stronger orgasm? Do you love rainbows? If you answered yes to most of those questions then this rainbow cock ring by Rascal Toys might be right up your alley.

With an inside diameter measuring 1.7 inches, this super comfy cock ring is made of soft touch silicone and features a wide band helping it to stay exactly where you put it. Although it may look rigid and potentially tight, there’s a decent amount of squish and give allowing it to stretch 3x it’s natural size fitting most penises without a struggle. Whether you want to wear it around just the shaft or the cock and balls, this ring is perfect for advcanced users and those curious about trying something new.

Design wise, the thick stripes are clean cut with no bleeding from one shade to the next. If I had a dick this would definitely be in my bedside drawer.

The Rainbow Amor Dildo: $65

Rainbow Sex Toys - Amor Dildo*sadly rainbow Amor is no longer available. But I highly suggest the Colors Rainbow Pride dildos or anything by BS Atelier in its place.

Looking over this page makes me really happy, it shows how far sex toy designs have come aesthetically. Having said that, I think we really owe it to the OG of rainbow sex toys – the Rainbow Amor. Before Amor came along the vast majority of dildos were pink, shades of ‘skin tone’, or something bland and ordinary. Now we have a plethora of options to choose from and I’m forever grateful.

This stunning little number has been a favorite of mine since I laid eyes on it back in 2011. I coveted it. Begged for it. Almost going so far as to offer up my first born just to get the chance to review it (I hoard sex toys, what can I say). Fortunately things didn’t get that extreme and before I knew it, I had it in my hot little hands.

From start to finish this dildo is everything I could ask for. There’s no bleeding of shades from one to the next. It’s crafted from body safe silicone (Fun Factory, thank you for making this!). It’s the perfect size for me. AND it has every color perfectly distributed just like a real rainbow should.

FYI, it’s one of the only toys that’s been in my bedside drawer 12 years straight. For someone that literally owns bins of sex toys, that counts for something.

Here’s my review of the rainbow amor dildo, just in case you had any questions.

Miscellaneous Rainbow Goodness!

Of course dildos, butt plugs, and tongue rings aren’t the only rainbow clad goodies available…

For those with a Unicorn fetish, the rainbow horn dildos by Split Peaches aren’t your only option. If you really want to commit, take it all the way and snag yourself a rainbow unicorn mask (pictured below). There’s a few to choose from, it’s just a matter of whether you want to go legit hardcore unicorn or the adorable unicorn route. And, if you’re gonna go that far you might as well buy a rainbow wig + tail set and call it a day. Though personally, I’d prefer a rainbow cat tail and some fluffy rainbow ears to match.

If burlesque, playing dress up with rainbows, role playing, or running around half naked is more your thing, there’s tons of fun stuff like rainbow pasties, rainbow wigs, sparkly rainbow rhinestone pasties, rainbow tutu’s, stockings, a one piece rainbow body suit, and cock socks to search through.

Or, if you’re the creative type why not try your hand at some body art with a rainbow liquid latex paint kit (always make sure there’s no latex allergies before using). Regardless of what you’re specifically looking for I’m pretty sure you can find it if you know where to look.

#FunFindFriday: Fun Factory Stronic Eins

I’ve been a fan of Fun Factory ever since I laid eyes on them 8 years ago, with the bright and bold color choices drawing me in like moth to flame. Yes, I’m just that easily distracted superficial.

For those not in the know, Fun Factory was one of the first pleasure object manufacturers to branch into the mainstream market offering quality goods in discreet packaging, with an exceptional amount of attention paid to advanced technology and creating toys that were not only playful, but also somewhat questionable… especially considering they were meant to stuffed in your vag or butt (anal beads in the shape of a caterpillar and a dolphin vibrator for the win?).

Suffice to say, they’ve gone and done it again, minus the quirky choice in designs I’ve come to love; set for release Janurary 2013 Fun Factory designed 3 sleek and sophisticated new additions with the ability to ‘pulse’, creating a sensation similar to the thrusting felt during intercourse. According to the company the products are “unlike the ‘Sex and the City’ rotating and vibrating rabbits everyone knows, Pulsators silently rock back and forth using a complex weighted device instead of a motor.

Dirk Bauer, founder and managing director in Germany, had this to say about their newest inventions;

Experience has shown that strong and firm impulses — similar to thrusts — allow people to enjoy sex in a more intense way than just vibration” adding “After 18 months spent developing this product, we are ready to bring to the market a sensational new kind of toy, a Pulsator, which simulates the natural movements of lovemaking

Well that certainly sounds interesting to say the least!

As for specifics you’re looking at 9″ inches in total length, with 5″ of that being insertable. As with many other dual vibes there is an extension added for clitoral stimulation. Regarding the colors shoppers can look forward to hot pink and deep violet. Added to the current features are 10 stimulation rhythms, a fully waterproof body, key lock for silence during traveling, and a 100% medical grade silicone shaft that’s totally body safe.

Now whether or not this new trend will take off as expected remains to be seen, but as someone who uses sex toys on a near daily basis, feasting on new additions like a chocolate addict to cake, I honestly cannot wait to see these bad boys in action.

For more info feel free to check out the Stronic Eins page on my website.

So I guess the question now is, whos ass do I have to kiss to get one of my own?

Review: Fun Factory DeLight

Fun Factory Delight

snaking curves

When I first saw the Fun Factory DeLight back in 2008 it was instant love.  The curves. The words ‘medical grade silicone’.  The make-shift handle and easily accessible buttons. The variety of vibration settings, rechargeability, splash-proofness and discreet design. Not to mention the fact that it was made by one of my all time fave companies – Fun Factory (which is synonymous with quality). Everything about it screamed POTENTIALLY AMAZING G-SPOT STIMULATION… and yes, I just had to have it.

For as much as I lusted after it, dreaming of the day it would grace my vajayay with its presence, it always seemed to elude me. No matter how hard I worked, begged or pleaded, I just couldn’t seem to get my hands on it. I even saved up for it a few times over, only to find the retailer in question out of stock each time I was ready to buy (partially my fault for wanting a specific color).  And now, years later, when I’ve made peace with the fact that it would forever be ‘the one that got away‘, it falls into my lap with a simple “may I please have for a review“. Funny how life works sometimes. Fun Wares, my lady bits are very thankful.

professional packaging

Packaging

Like all the products Fun Factory makes the packaging is professional, discreet, playful, quality and luxurious.  There’s nothing on it that’s tacky, rude or inappropriate, no naked ladies or gents and definitely nothing that would make you cringe. Instead of the typical and by that I mean cheap plastic clam shell design most intimate accessories come packed in, Fun Factory once again opted to use a sturdy box with a peek-a-boo window, silver and red shades, along with all the benefits and features laid out in a way that’s easy to find, attractive and simple to understand. Basically put, there’s no guess work with this company, what you see is what you get.

The Good

Good things come in oddly shaped, well designed and easy to maneuver packages. At least that’s how I see it with DeLight. Sure, it has a few little kinks that it could stand to have worked out, but for the most part, it’s got everything I want in a vibe and more.

  • It’s discreet,  very discreet. I mean look at it, there is no way you’d think that was a vibrator. Sure, it would likely draw attention due to the amazing colors and strange shape, but for the most part anyone that found it would be totally clueless to the fact you stuffed it in your whoo-ha. Yes, I did just call your vagina a ‘whoo-ha”.  Sue me.
  • It’s crafted out of 2 body safe materials, that together, lend themselves well to the design, making maneuvering the product easy, comfortable and surprisingly ergonomic – one is a smooth and supple, matte, phthalate and latex free silicone that’s totally body safe, hypoallergenic and hygienic (the fucshia colored insertable g-spot stimulator), the other,  a highly polished and hard ABS plastic that’s also non-porous, smooth, glossy and firm (the shiny black sides).  .
  • While I know this will be a downside for the ‘size queens’ reading, it’s much smaller than I imagined coming in at only 6″ in total length (that’s not measuring the whole length since it curves, but instead from top to bottom), with only 4″ being insertable. On that note, 4″ inches, and properly curved ones at that, are more than enough to hit the spot.  Having said that, it’s not meant for deep penetration or thrusting, instead being specifically designed for g-spot stimulation.  Sure, some will likely have to adjust, wiggle, rock or apply pressure to suit their body and personal needs, but for the most part it targets the area with an exceptionally high level of precision I’ve only experienced with a handful of products.
  • Although it’s not hitachi, leaf, or We-Vibe Touch strong, it still packs a bit of a punch, especially when fully charged. More than that, the vibrations can be felt through the entire body of the product. Sure, they tend to diminish the further you get from the area the motor is located, but for the most part you’re able to easily stimulate the entire vulva… we’re talking the clit, labia (big and small), vaginal opening, g-spot, everything! Quite a nice feature for those that like all over sensations.
  • It’s whisper quiet. Even on the highest setting. ‘Nuff said.
  • Maybe it was the way it was pictured online, or the way my silly brain works, but for some reason I never assumed any part of it was fully silicone, instead guessing a portion was coated in it. For many of you this won’t seem like a point worth mentioning, but where sex toys are concerned it makes a big difference.  Not only does it make the insertable end smooth and supple, slightly textured and velvety to the touch, it’s also highly flexible allowing it to move, shift and bend with you while also making insertion very comfortable. Amazing!
  • Okay, so this might not really be a serious selling point, but if you’re sick of the traditional pink, black, purples and weirdly colored pinky purples, DeLight comes in 6 different variations; baby rose/rose, india red/violet, white/orange, violet/violet, and the one I waited forever for blackberry/black. With all those options there’s definitely something for everyone. Unless you like green or blue, then you’re shit outta luck.
  • Since we all know how much I hate using batteries the fact that it’s rechargeable should come as no surprise. Not only does it save you money in the long run, along with the planet, it also gives you a much longer vibration life… without the fear of it dying before you reach a big “O”.
  • DeLight is designed with ease of use in mind; the way the curves fit the body, with the handle upright and buttons directly under the thumb (no matter what you’re doing or how you’re using it), operating it in the moment is a piece of cake… especially since your not fiddling around trying to find buttons that you can’t see or a dial that’s way out of reach. Long story short: it’s ergonomic in a way many other vibrators aren’t.
  • Last but not least, it’s fucking stunning! Well in my opinion anyways. Oh, and let me also ad that pretty much every time I pick it up or look at it, I think of this, Deee-groovy! Deee-gorgeous!! Which is pretty kick ass in it’s own way.

Operating Instructions

When it comes to sex toys one of my biggest complaints is the fact that so many of them seem to require a degree of sorts to figure out how to operate them, and truthfully, I’m getting tired of it. I want my toys to be simple, easy to manipulate, and just as easy to figure out. If I get something and have to read an instruction manual, forget it. I just can’t be bothered. Fortunately most Fun Factory toys are pretty to the point, having minimal buttons and placing them in areas that are easily accessible when in the moment.

simple controls

DeLight is no exception, located on the top of the ‘handle’ are a “+” symbol, “-” symbol and the Fun Factory logo. To turn it on simply hold down the “+” button for 3 seconds and it quickly powers on, lighting up the logo and background with a red glow. To switch through the settings either press the “+” or “-” symbols, the “+” will increase the vibration and the “-” will lesson it, once on the highest setting just press the “+” button once more and it will jump through the various settings, to turn it off simply hold down the “-” button for 3 seconds and it should power down rather quickly.

For easy as it is to master there is one drawback, if you jump past the setting you like you have to cycle through them all over again since the “-” button doesn’t go backwards, instead jumping back to the steady vibration rather than a pattern.

As for the settings, you’ve got 5 to choose from including everything from pulsations, escalations, a random pulse/roller coaster, and a steady vibe. No matter what you’re looking for this quirky toy likely has it.

When it comes to recharging, place the circular charger over the small silver ‘dots’ (located on the back, just under the tip of the handle) and once magnetically connected, the charger will glow red.  Like the Yooo (another Fun Factory product), the charger will repel the connection unless it’s lined up correctly. With that in mind, make sure you place it on a flat surface where it won’t be disturbed – the connection tends to slip out of place, stopping the charge in the process (if at any time the glowing stops you’ll want to check for a disconnection – if it’s not disconnected, it’s stopped because it’s fully charged).

The Bad

When it comes to things I don’t like about DeLight there are 4, though they aren’t that big of a deal – just things I think should be included so everyone is in the know:

  • The silicone end collects lint… but since almost every silicone toy does that, I’m not going to hold it against the DeLight specifically. I still hate that it does that though.
  • Depending on whether your g-spot sits shallow in the vaginal canal (closer to the opening) or a little farther back, the g-spot curve may or may not be right for you. If it’s shallow, you should be good. Otherwise, I’d suggest something like the G-Ki since trying to hit it may prove awkward.
  • Before I go on I just want to say that this isn’t necessarily an issue with the product, or something I don’t specifically dislike, though it is something I think would make it a whole bunch better: the upper portion of the product (i.e. the portion that touches your clitoris when tilted forward) doesn’t have an area that vibrates. Yes, you can feel the vibrations through the entire body of the vibe when it’s turned on, but for the most part they aren’t as strong as in the tip where the vibe is located. It might just be my opinion, but I personally think the addition of another vibrating area (where the vibrations were concentrated) would make the DeLight one hell of a dual stimulator. Sure it might mean more buttons, and maybe a bit of a thicker body, but if it means a better orgasm, I can deal with that.
  • The ‘extra bump’ designed to stimulate the clitoris is just stupid. Every friend I asked said there’s no way it would hit the area since theirs didn’t sit that low, if anything it would work better as a point of reference to know how deep the vibe is inserted. Survey says, “rename that portion”.

Care & Cleaning

You can easily clean it with a toy wipe or by washing with antibacterial soap and warm water. While it is splash-proof I wouldn’t suggest fully submerging it as there’s a chance you’d kill it. I’d also suggest sticking with a good water based lube since a silicone version would likely ruin it over time.

Final Verdict

Even though 4 years has gone by since I first spied it (which is a long time in sex toy years), my much anticipated DeLight hasn’t let me down, remaining innovative, luxurious and high tech, rather than outdated or old. To be honest, I think it was far ahead of its time, and only now other companies are starting to catch up.

Review: Rainbow Amor Dildo

Rainbow Dildo Review

UPDATE: The Rainbow Amor is no longer being made, however there are now a whole bunch of other Rainbow Sex Toys available! Simply click this link to read all about them.

When I first saw this stunning rainbow dildo online I was seriously floored.  Whether that was because it was the very first rainbow colored intimate accessory I’d ever seen (that actually looked good and was a legit rainbow), or because it was an exact replica of my fave Fun Factory dildo is anyone’s guess. All I know is the moment I saw it, I had to have it. Like, in my toy box as of yesterday had to have it.

Thanks to the wonderful folks at Babeland  this pretty little dildo was in my hands in less than a week, shipped discreetly no less, and was definitely something worth waiting for.

*The reason it looks exactly like my fave dildo is because it was made by the same manufacturer, Fun Factory, with the rainbow version being specifically made for Babeland (in limited numbers) – which is why it’s the only place you can currently get it.

Packaging

This amazing and beautifully colored dildo comes packaged in the ‘standard’ Fun Factory easily recycled box, with nothing on it that’s rude offensive, inappropriate or tacky. A see-through window allows you to view the product, while the outer external box is silver and red, displays a basic diagram of the product with it’s benefits and features on one side and a written description listed in 4 languages on the opposite. It’s simple, easy to understand and with the exception of the words ‘dildo’ and ‘g-spot’ has nothing sexually explicit on it.

Rainbow Dildo

No bleeding of colours

The Goods

While there are many reasons to love it – it’s crafted from 100% medical grade silicone, shaped to be comfortable, and has a flared base for various uses – the main one is obviously the rainbow coloring. Fortunately in person it’s just as fantastic as the pictures online show, being bright, bold, impressive and exceptionally well delivered; each color is clearly defined with no ‘bleeding’ or gradient flow into the next (as pictured left).

As for the texture, the high quality silicone is very smooth, has a matte finish, is somewhat squishy and offers a bit of give while also maintaining a firmness that’s flexible and exceptionally comfortable. The base is likewise flexible but firm, allowing it to be compatible with most strap-on harnesses or used anally without the possibility of being lost inside you. While it does have a slight bit of drag on the skin it’s not something a little bit of good water based lube wouldn’t fix.

*even though I was afraid of being disappointed I inflicted the ‘flame test’, to which it thankfully passed. High quality silicone for the win!

Design wise it’s semi realistic and resembles a smoothed-out erect penis (think of the posterize effect in photoshop). The rounded and slightly pointed tip makes insertion easy and the short shaft with a gentle curve provides a small amount of g-spot stimulation during thrusting. While the curve isn’t much to write home about, it’s far better than a straight design that offers little to no contact with the g-spot. Regarding the stats you’re looking a length of 5 1/2 inches and a girth of around 5 inches (by my own measurements) and a width of 1 1/2 inches, that in mind, I think anyone could use it and not be intimidated or overwhelmed. If g-spot stimulation or thrusting isn’t quite your thing, instead preferring the ‘fullness’ dildo’s provide, this fit the bill nicely.

*Just keep in mind that although extremely amazing, you may need something else – be it a clitoral vibe, fingers or the tongue of a partner to help you reach a climax, especially when you take into consideration that over 70% of women require clitoral stimulation to achieve an orgasm. If that sounds like you, don’t worry, you’re clearly not alone.

Care And Cleaning

Because the Rainbow Amor Dildo is made of a high quality silicone it can be easily cleaned using soap, water and a good rinsing.  As for lubes I’d only suggest a good water based lube, and if you have issues with reoccurring yeast infections, one that’s sugar and/or glycerin free would be a good idea.

*Since it’s made of medical grade silicone it won’t absorb bodily fluids, lube or bacteria and therefore doesn’t require the heavy cleaning other product my need.

Marbled Amor (my original love) vs Rainbow Amor (my new love)

The Bad

Fortunately there really isn’t much for me to complain about, sure the drag on the skin is a little annoying (lube fixes the problem nicely) and it kind of attracts lint (not nearly as bad as many others), but that’s really the only issues I found. Both of which really aren’t that big of a deal.

Final Verdict

I don’t really know what I can write here that I haven’t already said. From the moment I got it I loved it and having now ‘sampled the goods’ I find myself loving it even more,  especially since it has everything – and I do mean everything – I look for: it’s made of high quality silicone, is easy to insert (with the help of a little lube), is the perfect length and girth for my body, is seamless, can be used with a harness, has a bit of give making it exceptionally comfortable, is easy to care for and clean, and best of all…comes in a rainbow!!

If you’re looking for a fantastic, body safe dildo that’s quite possibly one of the only rainbow versions on the market, look no further, you’ve hit the motherload! If you’d prefer the same high quality product, minus the rainbow (that’s just crazy talk!!), the dildo also comes in a pink, orange or black version, or the larger Magnum with a total length of 7 inches. No matter what you decide I’m pretty sure you’ll be just as impressed as I am with mine.

Review: Fun Factory ~ Yooo

fun factory yoooAfter reviewing products for over 4 years I’d like to think that I have a pretty good idea of what my likes and dislikes are. That I can look at a product, read the materials, how it works and very quickly determine if it’s quality or not. More importantly, that when I see a product I’ll almost instantly know if it’s for me.

For the most part my instincts are pretty good and have helped me to skip the crappy intimate accessories for ones that are often much more favorable, not to mention far more deserving of the title “sexual wellness product”.

Of course there are other times when my radar goes awry and I’m stuck clutching something I’m not only perplexed by, but also disappointed with, seriously wondering why I chose it in the first place. Such was the case with the Fun Factory Yooo, a product I specifically asked the lovely folks at Eden Fantasys for, which they generously obliged.

The Goods

While there are a few issues I have with the Yooo, there are of course a few things it does have going for it;

First, it’s crafted out of high quality silicone that’s non toxic, hypo allergenic, hygienic, latex and phthalate free, odorless, easy to clean and care for, while also being velvety smooth to touch. Unlike other silicones it doesn’t really collect lint (a pet peeve of mine), has some give and squish to it, and although there is a slight bit of drag, it’s not much to worry about.

Secondly it’s very, very discreet. Whether you live in a dorm, have a roommate, share space with nosy siblings or are simply worried that someone may come across it, you should be fine; there’s a very likely chance they’d either think it was a kids toy, some weird addition for your computer or possibly something for the bath instead of a sexual wellness product.

Third, it’s rechargeable. I know for some of you that isn’t really an issue but after losing many products during my early days to the evil corrosion of batteries, along with the amount of money I’ve spent on them, I had to learn the hard way why having products that are rechargeable is not only smarter, but saves you quite a bit of money in the long run.

Fourth, if you like to bring toys into the tub, or if you have to due to your living arrangements, the fact that it’s 100% waterproof may be a very big selling point. While I’m not necessarily one for bath time fun, I did find the lowest setting very relaxing during my bath.

Fifth, the packaging is discreet, professional, rather hi tech looking and comes complete with 4 different languages to explain the product. There is nothing on it that’s rude, inappropriate, embarrassing or something that would cause you to shy away. Sure the write up is a little tacky (the mention of the ‘balls’ is done far too often lol), but for the most part it’s nothing to worry about.

Last but definitely not least – it’s damn near whisper silent. Sure it’s a vibrator and therefor does make some noise, but it’s nothing that would be heard when muffled under the sheets, and certainly wouldn’t be heard through a door or within a shower or running bath.

*I actually turned it on and tossed it on the chair in the living room while my fiance was playing video games just to see how long it took before he heard it and asked what the hell it was. Let’s just say the cats were far more curious and noticed way before he did.

Specs

Aside from many benefits and features found with the Yooo, there are of course other aspects like size, maintenance and operation that should be addressed.

While the majority of the product is made of high grade silicone the front of the ball (where the buttons are located) is made of a body safe ABS plastic that makes it rather firm with no squish or give. It doesn’t really make much difference when it comes to using the product, but since it’s not 100% silicone I felt it was worth mentioning.

In regard to the size and shape of the product you’re basically looking at 3 spheres, or bubbles if you will. The middle one houses the buttons, provides an easy way to hold the product, while also giving you the surface area to magnetically connect and charge your Yooo. The two smaller balls are slightly different, with one measuring 1.75″ across and the other measuring 1.5″, each of which hold their own separate motor. It’s these separate motors that offer different methods of stimulation and allow you to explore and play until you find a position that works for you and your body.

*for those of you wondering, it gets its name from the three different ‘O’ shaped parts that make up the product.

Specs: total length 3 3/4″, girth at largest measures 6 1/2″, width at its widest measures 2″.

As for operating the product, there are only 3 buttons to worry about; a (+) plus, (-) minus and flower shaped ‘turbo boost’. To turn it on simply press down on the (+) button for 2 seconds and it begins to vibrate at a low rumble, press again and you go to the next speed and so on. Once you’ve reached the highest basic speed holding down the (+) button will jump the vibrations over to an escalation, with the dial of the buttons glowing in sync with the vibration pattern. Hitting the (+) button again will take it to the next pattern and so forth. In total you’ve got 4 patterns to run through. If the (-) button is pressed at any time during the patterns the vibrations go back to the highest setting before you hit the patterns. Find it confusing? Yeah, so did I the first couple times around. Having said that there is most definitely a learning curve. To turn it off simply press down on the (-) button which will lower the speeds, tap it once more and it turns off.

*If at any time you want to have a surge of power just press down on the ‘turbo button’ and the Yooo will vibrate at a hand numbing speed. No joke. My whole hand went numb in no time.

When it comes to recharging place the circular charger over the Fun Factory logo (located in the center of the buttons) and once magnetically connected, the charger will glow red.  If at any time the glowing stops you may want to check for a disconnection.

As for care and cleaning, since it’s water proof and made of silicone you can simply wash it with mild antibacterial soap and water, making sure to rinse it well.

When it comes to lubricants I’d only suggest a good water one as a silicone would likely ruin it over time.

In regard to ways of using it there are 3 options that I see, with the possibility of 4 if you can manage it. The first is for a nice, relaxing massage since the Yooo hugs curves in the neck and shoulders rather comfortably.  The second is during foreplay to tease and taunt your partner into arousal, whether it’s tracing over their nipples, inner thigh, forearms or feet. Next is clitoral stimulation and the last, which again is an option only if your capable of it – gently inserting one of the balls vaginally while the other stimulates the clitoris. It won’t work for everyone, but for those that it does – enjoy!

*just keep in mind this isn’t meant for anal insertion.

The Bad

The first issue I had with the product was in regard to the charger; because the product connects via a magnet there were many times that I left the room only to come back and find it disconnected. Annoying, frustrating and disappointing are definitely a few words that come to mind.

Next up are the vibrations – while some may be very impressed with them I unfortunately wasn’t. That’s not to say it isn’t relatively powerful or that the sensations aren’t enjoyable, it’s just that the vibration itself is very rumbly, buzzy and feels like it’s sitting on the surface, rather than being a deep, heavy and completely arousing vibe. Unfortunately it seemed like the only way I could reach orgasm was by continually hitting the turbo button. Keep in mind that this is just me and my body is likely different from yours. What works for some doesn’t always work for others, a point that’s clearly made with my experience.

On that note, while it does have two separate motors I couldn’t feel the difference between them like I did with the Lelo Ina. Yes, Ina is a different product all together, but if you can’t differentiate between the sensations what was the point of doing it in the first place?

Aside from that the buttons are rather hard to press and require a bit of force. Maybe it was just mine, maybe it was because it was new, either way it was slightly frustrating especially in the heat of the moment when hands are a tad lubed.

Finally, the shape itself leaves much to be desired as it doesn’t offer much by way of overall stimulation, makes targeting one area rather difficult, and for me didn’t feel the most comfortable. Not that it hurt, because it didn’t, it just felt awkward and weird.

Final Verdict

If you’re looking for a high end product that’s very unique in design and is therefor discreet, while also being quiet, rechargeable, powerful and something you can take in the  shower or bath, the Fun Factory Yooo
might just be for you. If on the other hand you’re specifically looking for a great clitoral stimulator, one that targets the area, has a deep and penetrating vibration, while also offering variable patterns and speeds, you might want to look at something like the Form 2, Insignia Alia or the We-Vibe Touch.

Don’t get me wrong, my love for Fun Factory as a company still remains and the product itself definitely well made, easy to use and high quality, it just sadly didn’t do it for me. I guess sometimes the old says can ring true – stick with what you know. From now on, that’s what I’ll be doing.
